If there was one show to be kicked off, name it. Also add it with the one you'd like to replace it. Personally, id like The Critic instead of Baby Blues.

I would agree that Baby Blues is the soft spot, but we will get a break when Mission Hill is put on in its place. Of course the Critic runs on Comedy Central, so that wont happen. I was trying to think of some of the network cancelled toons of the past few years-
Stressed Eric (NBC)
God, The Devil, and Bob (NBC)
Family Dog (CBS)
Clerks (ABC)
Of course there are others, but those are some I remember pretty good.

No show should be thrown off if people like it. And people like Baby Blues.

NO kids in the pool! All kids under 17 out........................for Adult Swim.
Sorry. Couldn't resist ^_^. Anyway, no shows should be thrown off. If anything I want them to get enough shows to make Adult Swim known. I'm already predicting Yu Yu Hakusho, which is 112 episodes, will be the AS "star attraction" and will make AS popular. FUNimation seems to know how to market a show to its target audience. And they do a damn good job of it.

hehe. Well, I watch it with my brother, and hes 17, which is close. About the no show should be kicked off, I just meant for your own liking, so you wouldn't have a half an hour or 15 minutes of something you don't watch.

Well, I think one of the Space Ghost episodes should be replaced with something else, and also one of the CB episodes. I love both shows, I just don't need two episodes back to back.
BTW, I'm well aware that CB will be moved to Saturday in February.

If I could, I'd replace "Baby Blues" with "Clerks". But since I can't, I won't complain about it.

Switch out one CB ep (Won't matter anyway soon)
Keep the hour long HM block away
That's about it. AS is great otherwise.
Yeah, Clerks would be better than Baby blues, but no use *****in about it.

GREAT IDEA! LET'S RERUN 6 EPISODES OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
Honestly. That would get as tiresome as seeing the same 5 Aqua Teen Hunger Force episodes again and again.

What show should be kicked off? I have four. Pilot Candidate, Gundam 0083, Tenchi Muyo, and Outlaw Star. I guess to replace them could be an hour of Yu Yu Hakusho, an hour of Bebop, and end it an hour earlier for now. Then again, if I could just pick them, I guess we could replace them with Eva, Trigun, Kenshin, and Crest of the Stars.

I think Space Ghost Coast To Coast Should get Kicked off because there is never any new episodes! I think they should replace Space Ghost with one of the shows that will be coming on in the Saturday Night Block.

Space ghost is good, space ghost is great. Space ghost determines AS's fate. Seriously, Tad and gang are 90% of the reason AS exists. I think its the greatest show ever on television, and needs to stay on AS. True, they keep showing the same episodes over and over, but they have somewhere in the area of 100ish all together. As soon as they start opening up to more episodes, things will be better.

Even though it may not be as adult as Coast to Coast, why not fill the other 15 min with some classic Cartoon Planet? I mean it features 2 AS regulars (Space Ghost, Zorak, Brak) and they havent been shown in a few years to my knowledge.

SGC2C has tons of episodes, but the new episodes are shown more often. Way more often.

Oh, yeah. They have to cycle knifin', hole, flipmode, etc. in every week. It's getting redundant and unwatchable.

And that's why I tape AS. I don't have to stay up until 1 am, and I can fast-forward through all the crap.

I can understand Baby Blues' appeal to those with children, and it's still more enjoyable than anything else on tv at that time slot. I would have to recommend that ATHF, Sealab (my fav show), and Brak Show reruns all be shown at the 11:15 slot rotated so there could be a new 15 min show at the 11 slot.
I think atleast one of the space ghost slots should be "classic" eps. That'd work. And CB cant get the boot fast enough. I saw it on dvd a while ago, have seen it through once on adult swim and thats more than enough.
What to replace it with? GOD THE DEVIL AND BOB!
o and clerks if williams street can get their grimy paws on the liscensing

I like the idea with ATHF, Sealab, and Brak Show. Then again any idea thats against Baby Blues, I'm with.

I realized many people do like Baby Blues... nearly all of my non-Internet friends do. I never thought about it. Perhaps I was criticizing it without really thinking into it? As I think about it, I realized I really do laugh sometimes at the show.

Most people think Baby Blues is boring because (IMO) it's one of those shows that's only funny if you're married and have kids (and maybe not even then). Anyways, they shouldn't take it off, because the only thing they have to fill that slot with right now is more reruns of the other AS shows - and I think we've all seen more than enough of those.

I like the idea of an hour block of Home Movies to replace Baby Blues.
How about this: Replace Cowboy Bebop with The Head? The other half hour can show The Maxx (although I don't like the show, it would probably make a lot of viewers happy) or maybe another old MTV show like Liquid Television.
I believe those shows would truly put the Adult in Adult Swim.

I know this is purely hypothetical, but my ultimate question is: who cares, there are plenty of people who like it and you don't. Wahh, and stop stealling shows from other networks that you think belong here. consider this: they are trying to make us happy, thats what makes them money, they will do their best to CREATE shows, which is partly what they are doing, to make us continue watching. I agree, tho taking dead shows to re air them is kinda annoying, they still have potential for potential watchers, yer over it ;)

The only show that gets me to change the channel is Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Sometimes after changing the channel due to ATHF, I forget to change the channel back. So if there's one show to go, I nominate ATHF.
Also, I don't tune in until after Home Movies, so I wouldn't mind seeing it go. It's not bad and it has its moments, but it doesn't thrill me.

I think that the shows they currently have are great for the line up, and all deserve a full run. But if I was to "vote one off the island" after it had it's fair run on AS, it would be either Baby Blues or....and no flames please....Cowboy Bebop. I would potentially cast a vote for Cowboy Bebop because the show has had quite a bit exposure already on DVD, and isn't it in it's second run on AS? To be honest, that's the only part of AS I don't watch regularly because I already own the DVD set.
Replacing Baby Blues I would want either Mission Hill or the Oblongs. Replacing Cowboy Bebop...Lain.

I would like to see Trigun, Fushigi Yuugi, or Neon Genesis come and replace Cowboy Bebop.

Does this thread even matter? Most everyone has their favorites and not-so favorites. Adult Swim is already splitting into an action night and comedy night, so I don't think anyone is going to be kicked off survivor style. The block is a hit because its diverse enough to have different fans.
Personally I didn't like Aqua Teens in the beginning, but once I started watching it, it grew on me. Same deal with Cowboy Bebop. The plot was complex at first, and I tried to understand the backstories and now I like it.
If anything all the shows are good at what they do. Not every person likes the same thing anyways, so hush now before they start putting in Scooby Doo for these "holes" in the schedule you want to make. lol.
