The way I see it, these are what Nick and CTN's slogans will be slimilar to if they continue to go in the direction they are going.

Come Home to NBC, 1986 (Cartoon Network) (http://www.80stvthemes.com/ra/51999/NBC86VID.ra)

Just Watch Us Now, NBC, 1982 (Nickelodeon) (http://www.80stvthemes.com/ra/51999/NBC82VID.ra)

Use your imaginations with Nick and CTN and you will need Real Player to play these clips.

AHH! No! I doubt that their commercials will tend that way... hopefully not.

Their commericals will not tend that way, but I do think the networks will have similar popularity to NBC in those years judging by how they act.

but with the programming that Nick has now (90% of which is utter tripe), I'm surprised that they haven't already adopted that tagline ("Just Watch Us Now").

Hahaha...

If it were not for those little children hooked onto Rugrats, that might as well be their tagline.

LOL I don't think CN would let their promos get that cheesy. One thing that I have always like about Cartoon Network is their ability to laugh at themselves. A lot of the promos poke fun at the idea that they are all just stars at the network. Remember the "Parking spot" one where Fred, Chicken and that Hurculoids guy were looking for a spot? Its that type of stupidness that I think we'll see more of.

orders being barked by the Gestapo. Say the slogan with a harsh, commanding German accent and you'll see what I mean.

WOW

I liked that commercial where Sheep is looking for a place to sit in the cafeteria, and then Jimmy from EEnE called Velma a "freak" - vintage stuff
