This will be my last reminder, if anybody wants to trade, I have a copy of Song of the South! Here's some stuff I still need:

almost every uncut Avery
any Woody Woodpecker
any Mighty Mouse
almost any uncut Disney
any John K Ren and Stimpy

WB-
Wholly Smoke (B&W)
China Jones
Sept in the Rain
Brother Brat
A Coy Decoy (B&W)
Porky at the Crocadero (B&W)
several Boskos
several Buddys

H/B-
The Little Orphan
Saturday Evening Puss
The Truce Hurts
Any non T&J

Popeye-
Scrap the Japs
Popeye's Pappy
Popeye the Sailor

Betty Boop-
any pre-code except Minnie the Moocher, The Old Man of the Mountain and I'll be glad when you're Dead you Rascal you

It doesn't necesarily have to be any of these, and there are several other WBs that I didn't mention. If there's anything else that hasn't been on TV in years (the Pink Panther comes to mind) that would be great too.

It doesn't have to cartoons either. If somebody wants to trade a live action movie, that's fine also.

If anybody's interested please e-mail me. Thanks. wabbitstew@hotmail.com

SONG OF THE SOUTH has a third of the picture in animation.

Well, it's part animation, part live action, at least the parts of it I have seen. So yes, it's partly a cartoon. I suppose you could argue that "Space Jam" is not an animated film, or that "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" or "Rocky and Bullwinkle" were not either. But it's technically an animated Disney classic film. What's gotten into you today, Sveven? I don't mean to correct you, but you're certainly negative all of a sudden. Hey, let's be nice, okay, or I might break out the moderator functions. You're welcome to bring up a topic you'd like to discuss, but please don't shoot down other people's posts.

Well, Mr Dvorking, I asked for replies via e-mail (and many responded by the way), which would further explain why nobody replied to it. It would be mighty silly to reply to a post when I asked for e-mails, now would it?

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm holding out for the eventual "Criterion Collection" DVD of SotS in a few years...if it ever happens. :D

Loosen up, Mr. Dvorking! Dom't want any high blood pressure...

I LOVE Song of the south,I don't believe its concidered Un-pc in the states its one of the most shown disney films in the UK.

Gone With The Wind is one of the most beloved films ever made in the US and is distributed and available. Song of the South has been "retired" by Disney in the US becuase of the main character. I've heard that it's because the main black character ignores the needs of his own kid for the white boy. I'm not sure if that's thrue, though, having never seen it. Feel lucky that the UK isn't so sensitive.
