Geez. Wait more than one hour for a reply why not?
This is Tim and Eric's new sketch show, with sketches not unlike the ones they've made for their site, film fests, and sites like Channel 101.

Think of it as Tom Goes to the Mayor minus the plot... which really isn't a far fetched concept.

I think the full title is Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job. According to their online schedule, it starts February 11th at 11:45pm EST. From the makers of TGTTM.
That's all I know.
It's live action, and it's by Tim and Eric.
That's all we know. Draw your own conclusions.

I already did, and those conclusions scare me.

Really? I thought it looked horrible. Oh well, it's not like I can really tell much from the promos anyway.

Please will someone tell me if Bob Odenkirk is going to be involved in any way, shape, or form? If so, that's an instant watch for me. Especially if it's going to be more live-action sketches. Though I'm guessing the whole thing will probably be some crazy, trippy, live-action/animation mixture.
Oh and you guys who don't like Tom, or Tim & Eric in general, you should know that Bob Odenkirk is in fact God, and if he's gonna be in this show then you should be obligated to at least give it a chance.
Odenrick has nothing to do with it supposedly.

Incorrect. Bob Odenkirk is clearly in the first promo [adult swim] aired. Makes sense, since he loves working with Tim and Eric.
I am greatly anticipating this as well. And as for information, it will be a mostly live-action sketch show similar to the content on Tim and Eric's site. Some of the elements of TGTTM will pop up from time to time, like Tom and the Mayor and the Married News Team. It's going to be an 11 minute show, and has been ordered for 10 episodes.

Since I love Tom Goes to the Mayor and I did like the material Tim and Eric's website, I think I will like this show. I'm still skeptical on this show if it means Tom getting canceled though. It's just because I like TGTTM so much.

Tom Goes to the Mayor was a life changing show in which racism, herpes, and erectile dysfunction were all cleansed in a baptism of beauty that has been unseen in the past 10 years of male virility pills.
If it was any indication, then the Tim and Eric Awesome Show will continue that miraculous trend and move to help us conquer the harder stuff like AIDs, cocaine, and radical feminism.

TGTTM is just on hiatus now, I think. Hopefully it's not gone for good.

Apparently the creators has canceled the show to focus on their skitch show.

Where'd you see that they cancelled it? I read it was on hiatus, for a while, instead.

Tim and Eric put TGTTM on indefinite hiatus so they can concentrate on their sketch show.

Exactly, but it doesn't mean it's never coming back, or canceled. At least, I hope it doesn't mean that...
The fact that the show's ad features a pooping cat isn't a good sign.

If the Awesome Show is a success, don't expect TGTTM to come back. If it's a total failure, look for the new season next year.

Well that clip was more entertaining than Tom Goes ever was so despite this being live action (which I'm not happy about of course) I did find it humorous.

I thought the clip was more weird than funny. Like most of TGTTM. Extreme Hackey Sack? B'Owl? The name B'Owl actually had potential but it was squandered on parodying commercials.

I'd be quite depressed if TGTTM never came back...

Don't listen to the predictions coming from this board. They mean nothing. Here's the quote directly from Eric:
TGTTM is in hybernation at the moment. But the DVD comes out on April 3rd 2007! And there is a book in the works as well. A tourist's guide to Jefferton. More details coming soon.
Just give it time, all will be revealed.
As for Awesome Show, check out its myspace. (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=132388392) There are a ton of great promotional pictures from the show, as well as one of the commercials [adult swim] has been airing. Is that John C. Reilly I see? ;)

You know, when I first read this show's title I thought "Oh, so now they're doing a TV show about Sketch?" ...Yeah, I spend too much time on this site.

Why not? If you love Tom, you should love this show. Or are you allergic to things that are live action?

Why is Adult Swim showing live action on a "cartoon network"? To begin with, live action, when it is not unnecessarily live, can be cartoony. The cartoons require animation which by definition is not live action. In other words, cartoons are a lie. Excluding post infants, and liars, no one likes cartoons. Next chart. Because, they're a lie. We're [adult swim]. Now do you understand?
Remember:
1. Live action is where it's at.
2. Cartoons are not live action.
3. No one likes cartoons (especially anime).
We concluded they said that just to piss us off.

I'll hold off on judgments pro or con till the first episode. If anything the commercials are more frightening than funny right now, but that's almost expected with Tim/Eric humor.
I do hope this isn't the end of Tom though
P.S. ***Adult Swim doesn't really think Cartoons are a lie. Those completely serious chart commercials that are never meant to be a joke..................are a lie.

This show may very well end up going down as one of the greatest sketch shows of all time. Or at least the most awesome.

I really don't see it being better than Kids In The Hall, classic SNL, or Mr. Show.
