I was channel surfing, & came across Disney's Beauty & the Beast. I was kinda excited(haven't seen it in a long time..plus it was the ballroom scene..very cool). Then a little rat thing showed up, & dropped a chandelier. It was pretty funny. The girl walked out of the scene, complaining. Haha..then they showed a small preview for a new movie this summer called "Lilo & Stitch". It seems to be an alien-buddy-flick. And I must say...
Looks pretty dang cool.

Anyone know anything of this?

Hmmm; I don't know. I think Disney is trying too hard to be different, as opposed to being better. I was really excited when I heard about Atlantis, thinking it would save the empire.... but you know how that story ends. :P

Actually, everyone at Disney is more excited about this than they have been with any other animated movie in quite some time. I think it looks cool, anyway... can't wait!

All I know of this movie is that one commercial, and already I'm rather exited (well, I find Stitch incredibly adorable, at least!)

I will definately try to get the plushie when it comes out-and last time I got a Disney Plushie it was a beanie toy of Mushu, from the movie Mulan :D :p :p

Now to look for info on Finding Nemo...

"Lilo & Stitch" is being animated at the Disney MGM Studio at Walt Disney World. I had the opportunty two years ago of seeing the animators working on the one of the scences. Very cool stuff. Oh, did you hear that "Treasure Planet" will go to IMAX first then the theathers.

i cant wait till lilo and stitch comes out. i think it will be awesome.

and i loved atlantis, i know everyone hated it, but i loved it. great, awsesome and beautiful animation. and it seems lilo and stitch will be following in its pattern and straying away from the bad aspects that the last couple movies had, like the bad story pocahantas had, the horrible phil collins music from tarzan, the cheesy songs from mulan, and theyre just getting rid of the songs all together and writing original scripts, as opposed to trying to mold historical stories into cartoons (they ran out of fairy tales a while ago).

yeah, lilo and stitch will be really good, cant wait. and im surprised that treasure planet is being release so soon after, like in november 2002, right? anyone know for sure? well, peace.

And since they will be making large IMAX prints directly, instead of just enlarging old prints, the picture definition will be amazing, almost like 3D effects without the glasses.

Lilo & Stitch seems to be getting some good press so I may end up checking it out, but I may also just wait for it on video. However, Treasure Planet is what I'm REALLY looking forward to and like Terminatah mentioned, it arrives on November 27th.

Having seen a few of the pictures from Treasure Planet, I have to say that I've never been more impressed with a Disney film visually. The creativity and beauty that I saw in those shots are amazing and I really hope this movie lives up to expectations.

The film, from what I saw in the trailer (one of the funniest in recent memory), looks pretty good. Also, let me second Matt's declaration: Kevin McDonald!!!! I'll be there.
