Thanksgiving: A day to eat, spend time with relatives, and maybe watch a little football. However, most importantly, Thanksgiving is a day to be thankful.

Therefore, I ask you: What are you thankful for?

Personally, I am thankful for the following:

1.My God and His Word.

2. Religion.

3. Having lived up until now.

4. My father.

5. Music.

6. My imagination.

7. My personality.

8. Animals.

9. Living in the state of Florida.

10. The internet, radio, literature, TV, and film.

11. My house.

12. My material possessions.

13. Food.

14. A good night's sleep.

15.Toon Zone and all of my fellow Toon Zone members!

I'm thankful to be living.

No matter how stressful or how much my day sucks, I can look back and remember that it's a blessing to be alive, bad and good days included. It's amazing how philosophical you get when you do nothing but lie on your back in a grassy field and look at the stars at night. Makes everything else seem trite in comparison. :)

I'm also thankful to have a job, regardless of how much it gets overwhelming. It feels good, mentally and ego-wise, to be earning a packcheck.

And of course, for family. Yes, they drive you nuts, harp on you, sometimes fall apart, make you incredibly frustrated, annoyed, and brother, you may even hold grudges and resentments, but I wouldn't have them any other way since I love 'em (though my family could make "dysfunctional" seem normal) :D

I'm thankful for:

- Getting to go to college back in Georgia and play softball and be with my best friends that I haven't seen in years starting next semester.

- My family and their health. My dad had a stroke before Thanksgiving last year and I'm thankful he's with us this Turkey Day. I'm thankful to have a mom as wonderful as mine without whom I couldn't imagine life. I'm thankful for my older sister and brother. While they may be pains at times, they're always there when I need them.

- My friends. I have two best friends back in Georiga who I love like sisters and their families are like extensions of my own. I have another best friend here in Montana and I'm thankful to have her because she is amazing and has really helped me since I moved.

- My lot in life. I have a good family, good friends, a nice house, my own car, I'm in college, and I have most of the commodities that I might want. I'm lucky to live as well as I do.
