They're really emphasizing the weirdness in newer episodes. This was no exception.

Aqua Teen Essay #3
Aqua Teen Hunger Force has taken the sitcom cliches that are the backbone of modern American television to a surreal extreme. The trio operate in an almost cliche fashion, including the "smart" one (Frylock), the "dumb" one (Meatwad) and the "jerk" (Shake), but the situations they encounter... (more)

Great episode, very weird like the rest of the season, but still fun. The show seems to be branching out of the normal ATHF style though this season with episodes like this. I don't know what it is but something's different here about The Mooninites. It's still funny but it's odd. Frylock finally asks the burning question: why the Aqua Teens? And The Mooninites don't seem to really know.

How can you hate The Mooninites!? I've never known any ATHF fan that didn't like them.

Well, apparently you've found one that does... Incredibly bizarre that something of that nature would ever exist, but yes, you have found one. Ha.
And this episode had me at the title.

Ignignokt has three different voices in this series.
In Revenge of the Mooninites it was high-pitched, in every other episode it was normal. His voice this time out was kinda low.

"...I don't see anything I want, Err."
"What is this, a giant hooker or something?"
Ignignokt's and Err's sad recollection of not having dads was funny, too.

"What is this, a giant hooker or something?"
I think the line was: "What is this, a giant hookah or something?"

It seems that ATHF is doing what anime does in later episodes by putting the viewers on acid trips. I mean really. The show is getting more and more surreal.
I guess Err doesn't have the ability to make things explode when he throws them.

Started out slow, but the second half after Carl showed up was hilarious.
Except for Shake taking out and eating his own colon and Carl's recollection of his job in the styrofoam peanut making factory, this was a great episode.
Anyone else find it odd that Meatwad and Shake were just fine at the end of the episode (assuming that Frylock destroyed the bong)? One would imagine they'd be suffering some kind of after-effects.
Oh, and I loved that Frylock pretty much ignored everyone for once. Kinda strange that he said "Keep it away from Meatwad" yet didn't even attempt to save him once the bong arrived.

i'm also not a big fan of them not as stupid as Frat Aliens but not a big fan
Great episode. All the characters were doing what they always do, no one was out of character at all, the main plot was great and hilarious, and Frylock was also very good in this episode as well.
5/5

Landstander does an ongoing gag in each of the C&C topics every week. That's this week's. There is no more, it's just designed to look like a link. It's based on the Adult Swim college course he discovered recently.

Didn't like this one that much. Worst episode of the season so far for me.
I sympathize with Frylock. There are umpteen billion people on Earth and they always got come down and mess with the Aqua Teens? Really now...
Funny parts, um... the Mooninites not finding anything worth stealing from Carl; their (especially Err's) story about not having dads when growing up... that's it, I think.
"Moonajuana": 6/10.

I'm suprised that Frylock never asked the Mooninites why they keep disturbing them before.
That was a great Mooninites episode.10/10
