Also, according to AnimatedBliss.com (http://www.animatedbliss.com/DVD/details.asp?title=Moral+Orel:+Volume+One), season one hits DVD shelves in March.

Um, Mr. Commonsensemedia.org reviewer...Rankin/Bass didn't animate Davey and Goliath; Art Clokey did.

This site seems pretty level-headed and probably useful. I only like these sites when the people who do them are insane. =(

The kind of insane response is what I expected out of a site like that...but I guess there ARE surprises...I agree with most of what they said.
from the looks of the review, I don't think they watched more then two episodes of the series. I mean, I do agree with it, but I look over to the chart, and all the areas mentioned the drug episode.
But this was a lot more levelheaded then I expected.
"A good warning against the effects of religious fantatcism."
Wow, that's profound. ESPECIALLY considering the usual reply here is "It's evil! Kill it!"

Well, I'm pretty sure that they don't require you to see much of a show to write the review. I mean, their review of Billy and Mandy (http://www.commonsensemedia.org/tv-reviews/Grim-Adventures-Billy-Mandy.html) is riddled with errors. (calling Mandy Maggie, saying Billy is her brother, etc.)

That's a surprisingly respectable site. Usually sites like this call everything evil and tell you you'll go to hell for watching things. This one manages to see the value in shows even if they are not appropriate for children.

Same here. I thought the review was going to say that Dino was going to hell.
I wonder what some of the other "family" sites have written about Moral Orel...

Wow, that site's reviews for parents are actually sensible and helpful for parents. I thought it would be a PTC-esque review written by a crazy person.

Wait, you mean Billy isn't her brother?Seeing as they live in different houses and have different parents, no.

So, why do they hang out together all the time? They don't seem to be close friends.

Because they're close friends.

A family site giving that kind of a review for this show? Now that's a shocker! :D

Uhhh...yeah. Is it really that surprising that someone on this forum doesn't watch Cartoon Cartoons or Fridays Cartoons or whatever those things are called now? I've seen like one or two episodes of Billy and Mandy and I assumed they were brothers and sisters since they seem to have pretty different personalities and I wouldn't expect people like that to hang out with each other.

A lot of their reviews are like that.

Strange as it sounds, They probably got some of B&M mixed up with "The Buzz on Maggie" (either that or The Simpsons.

I can see how someone'd think they were brother and sister, I mean, how often are Mandy's parents actually on the show? I watch the show alot and only remember them in a couple episodes. Altho, Keeper of the Reaper makes it VERY obvious they aren't siblings.

I can only remember like 3 times that they appeared and I only rarely watch the show, as much as I like it. However, Billy's parents are in almost every episode and all the episodes take place at Billy's house. If you only watched it once, you might think they were siblings. It's not a far stretch.
