I watched it. It wasn't all that spectacular. Both sub-episodes were filler episodes. The first one was about Billy breaking everything and the second one was about some guy with bowling pins sticking out of his head wanting to take over the world. I think that show is just about ready to end

What happened to the character art quality? In the season before this (Jan-Aug 2006), almost all the characters had a slight update that made them look better. Yet, at the start of this season, it seems they've reverted back to the 2005 versions. Whats the the point of changing the designs back if they were better after the change? That was a huge dissapointment.
As for it being a "filler" episode, I couldn't of picked a better time to show it, right after the premiere of ANOTHER made for TV Scooby Doo Movie which is when everyone will either change the channel or turn off their TV. Besides, this show would of been cancelled by now if it wasnt for Fred Fredburger, I expect we'll be seeing alot of him this season.

You do realize that Billy and Mandy has no continuing storyline, right? So how can a show made up solely of standalone episodes have filler? What are they supposed to be filling?

The first one was just... meh, but I loved the second one. Lord Pain is very cool.
4/5 from me.
btw, I used to think 6th season animation and designs were better, but I realised everything, although it was clearer, was very rigid and mechanic, like it's been done in flash

When I said filler episodes I ment episodes that are pointless that they just made to get another episode out.

Yeah, that is not really what "filler" is taken to mean around here. A show without any metaplot and very weak continuity does not have filler. There is not anything to fill.
Overall, a fairly "meh" episode. Nothing outrageously funny, but the pacing kept things moving. Nice to see Lord Pain again. 3/5
On an aside, I am also curious what happened to the art quality. In particular, the lack of shading made it seem like this episode was done in an earlier season. Very curious.

Sorry to answer so late, but I believe the reason is that Rae McCarson (the show's art director since Season Three) has left the show, and Marc Perry has taken his place.

Great Starsky, but again I have to ask, how do you know that!? Hope you won't say "I looked in the credits" :p

I looked in the credits.
Seriously.

Mostly Art Directors do backgrounds, not character designs. Marc Perry's doing a great job in Rae's absence. If you see in the episode after this, Mandy's colors are alot lighter. I think it fits her character better, but its kind of too late in the series to make that kind of change.
