I've updated the schedule for Cartoon Network and here's what's up:

- Pokémon Battle Frontier is going back to its original plan of one encore, then a new episode starting October 14th.

- Robotboy, Team Galaxy, and Dragon Hunters continue their premieres, but Dragon Hunters is pre-empted October 14th for the live-action Scooby-Doo movie.

- Scooby-Doo: Pirates Ahoy! premieres October 6th on Fridays, followed by a new Billy & Mandy.

- The following week, the first live-action Scooby-Doo premieres on Fridays, followed by a Halloween special.

- October 20th sees the premiere of Casper's Scream School on Fridays, followed by another new Billy & Mandy.

- October 27th sees the one-time-only return of Courage the Cowardly Dog, as well as a lot of Halloween specials.

- Things get back to normal November 3rd, with new episodes of Foster's, Juniper Lee, and Squirrel Boy.

- On Miguzi, premieres of Code Lyoko and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX continue for a while. However, on October 18th, YGO GX leaves for an hour of Pokémon. Code Lyoko stops premiering October 26th. Pokémon goes back to the start of Advanced Battle.

- There will be lots and lots and lots of Halloween specials being played all throughout the month.

Unless I'm misreading things, you forgot one thing:

Courage the Cowardly Dog, weeknights at 8:30pm all month long.

It's not. Primetime goes back to normal at the start of November. Courage was only brought in because it's a horror cartoon.

If it happens to do well I bet it might stick around though. In the end, ratings make things happen.

Though that may be the likely scenario, you never know what Cartoon Network may do next.

Another month without a new Foster's episode. At least we know when the next one will come (November 3).

Something else I missed before: Episode 26 of Ben 10 premieres October 9th at 7PM.

The new Ben 10 on the 9th... guessing by the title, I've got a pretty good feeling that a certain villain will be back. And about time, too.

Moving to one Pokémon premiere week will definitely help my Saturday morning schedule, that's for sure. Yeah for Season 3 of Lyoko! As for Fridays, won't be watching much this month save for maybe the new Scooby animated feature and the Juniper Lee Halloween special (which I missed last year, despite all the times it aired).

The Miguzi schedule for October 11 and 12 lists the wrong GX titles (though they are right on the GX page). I know I'll be watching most of the first half of October, but come second half, and I'll probably only watch CN Saturday's.

Yeesh, two weekends this month they've removed Dragon Hunters for a movie! o_O; *sighs* That worries me a little. Mmh, but it kind of disgusts me as well that they're showing that cracked up live action scooby doo movie insdtead of DH. I didn't mind the first two, I expected it. However, the cracked over RL movie of Scooby Doo?

Oy, no, I'm sorry I just hate that movie with a passion. Sorry to those who think other wise! ^^;;

Oh well, At least Dragon Hunters is still showing...right?

I find it even stranger that CN is playing the series in reverse order for some reason...

Good for you. Because John R. Dilworth (His creator) has mustered up all the "Courage" he could to make them! (LOL)

Schedule's updated again:

- Double Battle Frontier continues into November.

- Dragon Hunters has been cancelled and replaced by Squirrel Boy.

- Class of 3000 will pre-empt Ben 10 and Team Galaxy November 4th.

- A brand new Gym Partner will air on November 3rd alongside Class of 3000.

- As if Pokémon didn't have enough airtime on Saturdays, two specials will air October 28th: Pokémon Ranger! Deoxys Crisis!! and The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon.

- On the Toonami front, Battle Frontier starts a week earlier than expected, as "Fear Factor Phony" airs October 28th at 7:30, followed by an hour of Battle Frontier. Chronicles is off the block without airing Episode 22.

- On the Adult Swim front, Smoking Gun has a test run starting next week for the next 2 weeks at Midnight, while on Saturdays, Futurama is booted from the block and everything else moves up a half hour. Paranoia Agent returns in the 1:30 slot.

I guess CN is going to show as much Poke'Mon as possible since it's their highest rated show from what I've seen ratings wise, but the removal of Dragon Hunters makes me :crying: .

I find it kind of ironic that the DBZ episode "Nightmare Come True" airs on Oct 28/ 29, a few days before Halloween. I wonder if that's the real reason they jumped over the filler Trunks saga, so they could have a spooky title with the Halloween Friday specials that night.

See, this is why I hate CN's non-block premieres.

Yea, Nightmare Before Christmas airs October 29th at 7PM. How in the world Disney let CN air it, I have no clue.

well, i've never seen it ,so at least i'll finally get to see it. You'd think ABC Family would've aired that given they aired corpse bride..

speaking of corpse bride, thats a WB movie!!! aha :) so that's how they did it(and probally a bug lump of cash)

They could be saving it for December, since the final Chronicles episode IS another Winter Vacation episode.

Or they could just be waiting until Dogasu finally does a comparison for episode 22. :p

I think they just forgot about it.

But I think the second theory is probably right. I'll bet Bob Higgins has the Backpack on his Favorites List.

EDIT: Just for fun, I'll list the movies airing weekday mornings at 10AM:

October 19th: Tom & Jerry: Shiver Me Whiskers/Jetsons: The Movie
October 20th: Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders/Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost
October 23rd: Scooby-Doo and the Loch Ness Monsters/Tom & Jerry: The Fast and the Fury
October 24th: Alvin & The Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein/Jetsons: The Movie
October 25th: Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island/Land Before Time VII: Stone of Cold Fire
October 26th: Alvin & the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman/Kangaroo Jack: G'Day USA
October 27th: Scary Godmother: Halloween Spooktacular/Scary Godmother 2: The Revenge of Jimmy/Casper's Scare School
October 30th: Scooby-Doo and the Legend of the Vampire/Daffy Duck's Quackbusters

Because CN is cool with other companies besides WB.

I guess this is the answer to Jeff Harris' question about why CN isn't airing The Corpse Bride.

Eh, the only real major one is a spoiler for the week after's episodes.

I gotta say, I'm surprised they're airing it at 5PM, which is usually considered a dead-man's hour, instead of Fridays or something.

Actually, pretty much all the Pokémon specials (unless you want to count Chronicles as a special) have premiered outside Toonami. Movies 1-4, as well as the Mystery Dungeon special, premiered on Fridays, Movie 6 premiered on Miguzi (I believe Movie 7 made its CN debut on Miguzi as well, but I'm not positive), while Movie 5 and these latest specials are premiering on general CN.

I remember them advertising Movie 7 (I believe during Fridays) when it made its CN premiere, but since then it's been in the Morning Movie Slot a whole bunch of times. I think this upcoming airing is its 10th overall on the network.

Yeah. Considering it is made by the normal TV series production staff and did air as two normal episodes in some parts of Japan, according to http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/AG171

Technically this is supposed to follow the Anabel episodes.

But since this is being aired as a special, does it mean it won't be part of a Battle Frontier DVD release?

Still no Juniper Lee? What is happening with that show. Looks like it's still on Friday's, that's a good sign.

I'm going to be left with Robotboy, maybe Class of 3000 (I don't think it's going to be my style of humour though), Legion of Superheros, Xiaolin Showdown,, Avatar TLAB, and Jane and the Dragon.

Why do I get the feeling that it's going to be Ellen's Acres? Probably because it's currently on CN Video, and I doubt they'd put it on CN Video unless they planned on putting it on CN. At least Team Galaxy will still be around (or so I hope).

This is some topsy-turvy stuff. Corpse Bride is airing on ABC Family. The Nightmare Before Christmas is airing on Cartoon Network. One would think it would be the other way around. Oh wait...TimeWarner's never heard of corporate synergy.

I'm not one to complain when a show on Cartoon Network gets cancelled due to lack of interest by viewers. There are many shows that I liked that received at least a decent advertising pushed that got shelved due to lack of interest, with MEGAS XLR and Duck Dodgers being notable examples. In the case of Dragon Hunters, I'm going to say that show got shafted. CN didn't even put that show in the back of the spots promoting their new Saturday Morning line-up. Team Galaxy, a show that did get mentioned in the ads, has a big ratings drop-off from the show in front of it, is at least given a chance to find an audience, for a while anyway. Yeah, I knew from the beginning that the show didn't fit Cartoon Network but someone bought the show to air there so they could have at least tried to push it. Besides, sometimes the show that doesn't fit that becomes a bigger than expected hit (Avatar anyone).

Someone said, "kids don't like Dragon Hunters," that's just underestimating the value of their time. Kids have lives too and if they don't know something is on they are going to do something else with their time, especially in this era of overly scheduled kids. The Saturday block, unlike Toonami and Fridays, is not established enough to just put something on and expect people to watch it because it is on the block, so they should at least tell people a particular show is on.

I guess I have to find the single release DVDs and watch the show that way.

Mister Intensity
