PPG or Johnny Bravo

This use to be a question I asked everyone in my 5th grade class back in the day. So wich one would you rather watch. I'm not a fan of either, but I said PPg.

Johnny Bravo can do the laughs(mainly the first season), but overall, I can't stand the show. It seems like the whole humor is deriviting from Johnny's stupidity and him getting punches, and it's repetitive as hell. The colors make my eyes burn, designs are incredibly rigid and generic, and it has THE most annoying opening seq I've ever seen.

As for the PPG... well I've never liked that much either, but that's because I am not the targeted audience(I don't think it's girly, I just think plots are overly simplistic, dialouges repetitive, and a lot of humor predictable and just falls flat). But objectively speaking, it was a great show, and better than JB by many parameters

So PPG.

Depends. At their best, I think Johnny Bravo was far funnier than PPG, but PPG was very consistently watchable with only a few stinker episodes here and there, whereas Johnny Bravo can pretty much be divided into good seasons and bad seasons (particularly based on who was writing it and whether Van Partible was involved).

So, it's really tough. On the whole, PPG is better, so I'd go with that.

Johnny Bravo by far. Not that I didn't like PPG (and I did) but Johnny was funnier more often.

I also loved PPG(I watched it even though my classmates[and older brother] laughed at me for watching it).

Although, if I had to choose, Johnny Bravo.

I remember getting into a debate with two guys in school, as one was cracking on the other one because he watched the Powerpuffs, and he was like, "PPG isn't a girl show, is it?"

I said it's not, as it has the look of those old 1980's female oriented shows, but if you watch it, it's much more clever and bizzare, in tune with Dexter's Lab.

Even though I enjoy both shows, I would have to pick The Powerpuff Girls since I tend to enjoy it more than Johnny Bravo.

The Powerpuff Girls had better plots, but Johnny Bravo had better humour. It's sort of a tough choice, rly.

This is tough. Johnny Bravo started great but then Van stopped working on the show and it started getting below average. When he came back the show back to its original level again. With PPG, it was great until about season 4 or so which wasn't as good as seasons 1-3 (it wasn't bad, it just wasn't as good) and then the movie came along and that was great and after that the show went downhill when Craig left even though that the post-movie era did have a few bright spots (ie "See Me, Feel Me, Gnomey").

I used to be a HUGE Powerpuff Girls fan for a while (before seasons 5 and 6 ruined it). And I don't like Johnny Bravo.

So, um... PPG. Definitely.
