The annoying "next up" and "now playing" banners

I've been watching Transformers Armada in the mornings at literally every 2 or 3 minutes CN puts up a banner telling me what's playing now or what's up next. The thing takes up 1/5 of the screen and displays on top of the program. When did CN implement this? It is very annoying.

Is there a way to contact CN and voice my displeasure with this banner?

yeah i hate it too! if i wanted to know what was coming on next i would sit and watch until it came on! it really grinds my gears if you know what i mean!!!:mad:

Join the club, I don't really like that, either. However, it is going to stay with us for a while. Cartoon Network started doing this in late May or early June 2006, about two months after they changed the "now/then" look and the announcer, not to mention the split-screen ad/credits. There are no guarantees that they'll listen, but you can write to the network or send feedback through the website (the former would be a better move).

nobody in the world even likes those things but it's on almost every television station! what the heck!

I think there is a "send message" on the CN site, but it won't do any good. They and every other toon channel has done this for a very long time now. It use to be much worse. Think of those banners,,, then make them move all around the bottom of the screen to get your attention,,, then add sound so you can't hear the show either. They did that before. Nick does it, especially for Billy Neutron ads. Jetix did it all through the show and added "shout outs for online people to say things to characters, like "congratulations on mastering monkey fu" when you were watching Oban and WITCH. Neither has anything to do with Supermonkey Force.

I like the little Circle Characters that Miguzi used during the commercial breaks. They were cute, left you know what was coming if the tv guide was wrong, and didn't interupt the show.

I think that snail thing from last year was way more annoying cause it stayed on screen for like 5 minutes.

The most annoying aspect of them is when they have captions or something on the show, and you're left clueless to what the characters said. Also when in KND they show the letters and the acronym to whatever gadget, and the "You are watching" banner pops up right when the computer-like screen does, and you can't follow(the voice is hard enough to understand). That happened during the airings of Z.E.R.O.

And why tell me I'm watching Foster's??? Don't you think I know that?!?!

I want to add somthing to the mix.

G4 aired intrusive ads complete with sound.

also CN is now using the Split-Screen ads to promote their CN Video heavily.
