Spooks and scares lurk around every corner – from alien sightings to terrifying Skeleton Ghost Pirates that like to sink cruise ships with cannonballs. 9 p.m.: Scary Godmother Halloween Spooktakular – This hour-long CGI special follows the first trick-or-treating adventure of Hannah Marie, a young girl whose older, meaner cousin babysits her one dark Halloween night. Scooby-Doo stars Freddy Prinze, Jr., Sarah Michelle Geller, Linda Cardellini and Matthew Lillard in this wry romp. · 9 p.m.: Scary Godmother: The Revenge of Jimmy – Monster-phobic Jimmy hopes that getting rid of candy and costumes will put an end to Halloween. I'm happy to know some of new episodes of Billy & Mandy(Though none of them have Nergal Jr...) and it's nice to know that we'll be seeing Lord Pain and The Secret Snake Club again. And I was wondering if they were going to mention Irwin's mummy mom again.

I guess the contract with Nickelodeon for the live action Scooby Doo movie expired.

Actually ABCFamily had the rights to air the live action Scooby Doo movie last. They aired it in April, while Nick last aired it last Thanksgiving. Even though it's live action and not the best adpation of Scooby Doo ever, it fits better than the other live action movies that have aired on CN since it's an adpation of a cartoon series, which has aired on CN numerous times. Surprised they are actually willing to give Courage a marathon, but hey I'm happy and it is around Hallowen afterall.

COURAGE MARATHON!!!!!!! I better go tell my brother.
I'm actually surprised that they haven't played the live-action Scooby-Doo on Cartoon Network. It actually seems fitting here vs. on Nick or ABC Family.

Well, this is certainly out of the blue. CN's actually giving Courage another chance. I wonder if this is Dougherty's doing? It seems October 27th brings my personal favourite episode. IT'S DOC GERBIL'S WORLD!

Why did they show the live action movie 4 different times (?) rather than alternating, for example, showing the second LA movie, or additional Scooby moview? What about showing "Zombie Island" near Halloween?
There are also tons of other good Halloween cartoons (classic ones, like "Great Pumpkin") that don't get aired anymore, but I don't think CN has acquired the rights to. They should, though, consiering that it is CARTOON network, not "mixed live action and animation network.

I'd rather have a Scooby marrathon :(
Awe well the live action movie will be ok. I've already seen the other animated Scooby movie on DVD so I don't need to watch it on CN :D

A Courage marathon? That's certainly a step a right direction for CN.
