Wow, Jonathan Katz on Squidbillies?! I never could have imagined that...
This was a great episode, 90% because of Jonathan Katz's great performance. Wonderful voice acting on his part, as always.
I liked "TheRapist" joke, but it kind of seemed like a rip off Arrested Development's "Analrapist". Still funny though.

What a waste of tallent for Jonathan Katz to show up here.
edit: I just saw him doing standup this evening and he doesn't look too go. He needs a cane to walk around now. I hope he's ok.

I thought the entire first season was unfunny, yet found this episode consistently hilarious. It was great.

God, Squidbillies has amazingly, drastically improved from season one. And I liked season one. That was great.

I liked "TheRapist" joke, but it kind of seemed like a rip off Arrested Development's "Analrapist". Still funny though. Of course, when it comes to TheRapist, the first thing I think of is the Celebrity Jeopardy skit from SNL.

It's a fairly obvious joke that's extremely funny despite that.

It was also quite funny because of Katz's reading of it.
It was something like:
"I'm not really a therapist, so I don't know. Like I said, I'm the rapist."
It's almost like he's apologizing for the mix-up.

He did seem to feel really bad about the whole thing.

This might be the first Squidbillies I didn't like.
Sure there were quite a few funny bits in it, (Rusty's new hairdo, any of the Sherrif's weird ass asides, etc). The plot just seemed to drag on for about 9 of the 11 minutes and then just died at the end. Deconstructing Early and the Sherrif's relationship actually made the show itself a bit weaker, and "the rapist" joke the entire plot was building to was lame (celebrity jeopardy did it half a decade ago and it was only mildly amusing then). At least with Arrested Development the pun on analrapist wasn't the focus of the episodes jokes.
