For those who leave no stone unturned, here's the sixth and final season of the greatest archaeological dig in cartoon history: The Flintstones - The Complete 6th Season. And its 26 episodes are treasure well worth excavating! Exploring every realm of popular parody, The Flintstones delighted kids but tickled adults even more with howlingly funny takeoffs of such "trendy" TV shows as Bewitched (with the voices of Elizabeth Montgomery and Dick York in "Samantha"http://www.hbshows.com/img/smile/wink.gif, award-winning movies ("My Fair Freddy" and "The Treasure of Sierra Madrock"http://www.hbshows.com/img/smile/wink.gif and kitschy spoofs of Hollywood royalty in "Return of Stoney Curtis" (with Tony Curtis lending his voice.) The show's writers even had the foresight to project into the future, as in "The Long Long Long Weekend," guest-starring the series' newest character, space alien Gazoo.

Special Features Include:

Available Audio Tracks: English (Dolby Digital 1.0), Spanish (Dolby Digital 1.0), French (Dolby Digital 1.0)
26 episodes on four discs
The Flintstones Meet Pop Culture: Stephen Baldwin hosts a look at the effect of pop culture on the show, and vice versa
The Great Gazoo: From A to ZetoxFeel free to discuss both the DVD set and the episodes.

I got the boxset today.
I'm still missing season 2 and 3 but meh, I'll get those when I have moneys :(

I might be biased, because I just LOVE The Flintstones, but I think this boxset (along with the other 5) is worth every penny!

I personally found the special features on this set to be quite lacking. Both features were extremely short and weren't all that great. I wish the Gazoo feature had been a bit longer and gone into what other people thought of the addition of the character and what else went into his creation.

what a shame because I was impressed by the Gruesomes featurette on the season 5.

I have just posted my review of The Flintstones Complete Sixth Season on GoldenAgeCartoons: http://reviews.goldenagecartoons.com/flintstones6/

Despite the set having a number of the series' weaker episodes it still includes a few shows that still crack me up today ("Yes. Yes. Yes." "No. No. No" ;) ). Harvey Korman's voicing of the Great Gazoo is also fun. I didn't think the special features were too bad but was hoping for more of the great commentary tracks from the previous season sets.
