Shin finally gets a bump! Yay!
Fun at the doctor's office to start. Mizuki's itching to take her clothes off being the highlight of the opening sketch.
Then, we had more fun with Ai-Chan. The Jessica/Ashley Simpson jokes were great, as were the girls fighting over who was who. "Actually, they both suck."
Shin and videogames now. "On TV, the cops always beat the hell out of child molesters."
Heh, Shin getting distracted by baseball.
And, there's your nightly Shin butt shot.

While I didn't laugh as much as the past episodes, it was still highly entertaining.

Anyway, a really funny episode tonight, but I wanna state this before I forget yet again: I love Maso's voice. It's just so simply perfect and feels so much like a kid that one could actually believe it really is a kid voicing the boy. I forget who his VA is, but that person deserves extra points for Maso.

Skit 2: Super Happy Fun Time American School, Ai being 'sexy' to convince Penny to be her sister, "Penny's mom had an affair with Ai's mom?" (Shin about the girls becoming sisters), Argument over which sister corresponds to which Simpson sister... and later, to which Olsen each were [really... Ashley's better than Mary-Kate?]
Skit 3: Stranger taking Shin to take a survery on preference of giantic one-eyed monsters... with or without hair?, Shin at the drunk sorority house.
7 out of 10 for Episode 5. Three good/great episodes out of the four I've seen so far.

I laughed quite a bit when Shin pulled down his pants to catch the baseball. Dang, he'll use his ass for ANYTHING!
The doctor check-up segment easily wins tonight's episode, though. From Shin's multiple frank comments (Pre-MS was my fave) to the mom getting frustrated that she changed for nothing, it was gold.
People noticed the sign for the school, yet no one noticed the sign for the doctor's office said "The Well Enough Center: 2 days since our last malpractice suit!"
And that lawsuit's still going on, since the doctor's away on trial. :anime:

For the last time, the animation on this show is not cheap! It is probably better quality then 90% of the other anime out there. What looks "cheap" to you are the character designs, which I can understand not everybody would like.

The first one, which usually is "Yo! Here's some more!" was changed to "Yo! Here's more show!"
The final one, which usually is "Yo! Time to go!" was changed to "Yo! Nanako!" (Nanako is the MILF that Shin wants to... you know.)

Holy god, I'm still crying after Chameleon Shin. Don't know why but that visual gag just slayed me. I'm with you on this one. Absolutely hysterical. Using his mom's "Madonna bra" for eyes and the party favor thingamadoodle as a tongue definitely made the costume more Chameleontastic. :lol:

I thought this show would stink boy was I wrong. I crack up everytime I watch it, its great.
The milk episode was hilarious. When they had the milk bath and Shins sister left a surprise in the bath.
The little bit on Harry Potter was funny as well. I hope they have more new episodes.
Bah. Both Shin and his mom are lightweights. I coulda drank both the glass and the mug of milk without taking a break. Easily. Hell, I've downed a 32 Oz. water bottle without taking a breath.
Eh, a pretty good episode tonight, but IMO, the weakest of the 6 episodes.

I didn't realize that this show was going to air.
Then one night after Pee Wee, I caught it. I was suprised. I haven't had an Adult Swim show make me laugh out loud like this in a good while.
I really hope they keep this show on the air, it's a definite change to the current lineup.
I loved Chamelon Shin though.
His eyes were his mom's Madonna bra. xD

Skit 1: "Let's feed it (milk) to Hima 'til she explodes!" (Shin), "Don't worry, it's not mine, it's a cow's!" (Mitzi to the mailman), "Can you guess the theme?" / "You did the milkman, didn't you?" (Hiro / Mitzi), Bathing in milk, followed by Hima soiling it and Mitzi not knowing about it and getting in anyway.
Skit 2: "It's like college without the date rape!" (Michi to Mitzi), Shin suggesting to Hiro they watch "Who wants to blow up an Aardvark?," dating sim game, neighbors give up on saving for a house and blow their money on Baywatch figurines off of E-Bay.
Skit 3: Elephant dance, the race to the park, Chameleon-Shin, "I got a good deal on it (Shin, about his fake watch to Georgie).
6.5 out of 10 for Episode 6. I think the funny stuff was in shorter supply tonight, but overall this is still the funniest show I've seen in ages. The hits still outweigh the misses by a good deal... AS needs to pick up more episodes!

Honestly, if these preview episodes represent the whole series, this is the most honest-to-goodness-crap-in-your-pants-funny TV show since Futurama. This show is loud, wierd, offensive, and yet strangely smart, scarily satirical, and downright hilarious! Shin is the most sympathetic potty-mouthed trouble-stirrer since Bart Simpson. The whole family is brilliantly disfunctional, and the other students at the Kindergarten have dynamic and surprising sophistication almost on par with the Home Movies kids. I missed the first skit in last night's episode, but the 2nd skit was classic comedy. The 3rd skit... dynamite! This show has such a great randomness to it that Adult Swim can't affort to forget it after this test run! I hope the ratings are good for the 3rd funniest show on TV (only behind The Daily Show and Colbert Report)!

I don't remember them showing promo's durring Shin-Chan, unless it was before or after it airs. Don't know why they'd have a promo durring the middle commercial break durring show, makes more sense to air the promo after Pee-Wee to get viewers interested in watching.

In the end, I was mildly entertained with the shows but can take it or leave it. I think AS could do better. Unfortunately they often do worse...
