Is there a way to join Orkut without an invitation? If not, can someone PM me and send me and invitation?

by orkut do you mean:

"orkut is an Internet social network service (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_network_service) run by Google (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google) and named after its creator, Google employee Orkut Büyükkökten (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orkut_B%C3%BCy%C3%BCkk%C3%B6kten). It claims to be designed to help users meet new friends and maintain existing relationships. Similar to Friendster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendster) and MySpace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MySpace), orkut goes a step further by permitting "communities" of users. It is also invitation-only: users must be invited to join by a member." - wikipedia cited

But I don't think you would want it after you got it. Its nothing special, they ask you a lot of info [A Lot of INFO] as to get to know your 'interests" but the truth is that google wants a 411 on its users so it bought Orkut. And they keep it invite only so you would feel special and exclusive and want to join. Its a nice strategy. Wish I knew that before i asked someone to invite me. If you realy want one PM me with your email, but be warned, some stuff there is NC17 rated.;) And its not a " meet all wonderful people" place. its just like any other dating and chatting site, only less organised.
