Remember Dallas McKinnon?

I happened to be watching a marathon of the old Daniel Boone TV series on TV Land this weekend, and came across an episode or two that featured Dallas McKinnon (whose voice some of you youngsters will instantly recognize from such 'toons as Woody Woodpecker, Archie, and Gumby, as well as a few Disney shorts).

I'm wondering if he's still around, and what he's been up to these days...

Dal McKennon is still alive. He is retired but still makes personal appearances at various conventions. Over on the Walter Lantz-o-Pedia, we were able to interview Mr. Kennon a couple years ago and he talked about what it was like working on the classic Lantz cartoons: http://lantz.goldenagecartoons.com/dalmckennon.html

McKennon was the voice of Buzz Buzzard, Inspector Willoughby, Dapper Denver Dooley, and a bunch of others.
