I guess this topic is a blatant excuse to share my joy with the world. I managed to get the comic books Batman and Robin Adventures #1-25 and Batman Adventures: The Lost Years #1-5 for $40 in mint condition recently. Never thought I'd find such a deal! But anyway.....What purchases have you made that you've been exceptionally pleased with?

I think I get some of the best bargins when it comes to software either at EB or at Gamestop.. for example I got a copy of Railroad Tycoon 3 for a paltry 10 bucks at EB one time.. another time i got a copy of EZ-Scenery for Flight Simulator for just 19 bucks at Game stop..
Now if I can only land a 9 dollar copy of Any of the latest Sims 2 games.. go figure.

Around four years ago I got around 25 copies of Donkey Kong 64 for $8 each (worth around $50 each at the time) and last summer I got 16 copies of Pokemon Box for $20 each (worth around $100 each at the time - more now). I was quite pleased both times.

A few months ago, I searched for The Pillows on the website of a Japanese used cd store. They had two cd's-Please Mr. Lostman, and Little Busters. The price was way better than I expected-with shipping, the total for the 2 cd's was about $15.00 US. New Japanese cd's can cost $35.00 or more apiece, so it was a really good deal.
When the cd's arrived, I found the deal was even better, because both cd's were autographed by the band! Needless to say, I was thrilled.

On July or August 2003, I got around 20 Captain America comics (1982-1984) in very good condition for $20 or $30 (Plus shipping and handling) off of eBay.
If you think that's awesome, it gets even better!
Since the guy was late shipping out the comics, he put a ten dollar bill inside an envelope with the comics to make up for shipping the comics out so late.
So, I got 20 comics and $10 from someone on eBay. Isn't that an extremely sweet deal? :p
