A "What Would You Do?" Scenario...

Let's say that the world was invaded with aliens and they started to wipe out mankind. Many people are being killed. A horde of aliens is coming to your neighborhood/town/state. You are left with these options:

1. You and your friends go steal some weapons and armor and when the aliens come close enough, the battle starts. You could be killed but, you would die with honor.

2. You would run away, hoping the aliens won't catch you. You would hide in abandoned apartments and schools praying they won't find you. You could be killed but, there is a slight chance you could survive.

3. You decide to allow the aliens to kill you. The end.

Now, which decision would you make?

well i'm agaisnt weapons and all that, but if those are my only options then i would grab some weapons and fight to the death. after all, if the world is coming to an end, might as well have some fun before it does rather than live in cowardice. i would never die without a fight.

I'd like to think I'd fight 'til the end. But in reality, I'd probably end up running off to the hills and trying to hide. LOL! :(

What'd I'd really want to do is to grab a chainsaw and go right at them, but considering they'd probably shoot me before I get to them, I'll go with throwing heavy rocks at them from a distance, then running like hell when they catch on to me.

I'd be more concerned about the crazed people than the aliens

the chaos that would unfold would have me be more wary of people because of their paniced state of mind than the aliens

Allthough all things considered, everything depends on what kind of aliens are invading

if they have exo skeletons or endo skeletons, if they breath oxygen or some sort of other gas, what sort of machines are they suing, are they allergic to peanutbutter....

all these things are variables to take into consideration


other than that it's impossible to get out of New jersey if a large dissaster happens, take out Rt 17 and traffic goes to a standstill

So option 1 or option 2 depending on the different circumstances

The aliens have endo skeletons and they do breathe oxygen. They use the flying saucers used in the War of the Worlds movie(2005 version), and they have lasers that can kill 10 humans without a reload.

Since this is an invasion, I'd ditch the "head on" tactic I usually take, find myself a useful weapon of any sort as fast as possibe, and VERY discreetly kill aliens while hiding my butt like a coward as to avoid getting caught. I'd run around all over the place in the same fashion and hope to somehow wipe out the menace this way.

If I get caught, I'd persuade them to let me join their side, then do their biddings until I get my chance to backstab them (both literally then figurativally). If that doesn't work, then run like heck away or desperately attack them and hope I get them before their laser guns or whatever they use get me.

But I'd be a mixture of weapons and running. I'm a bit of a slow one so give me a pair of roller skates and a rocket launcher and we'll be alright. :D

As someone else said, I'd like to say that I'd grab a weapon and fight back. Unfortunately, I'm a coward so I'd run like hell, instead. Once they caught up (it wouldn't take long, as I'm not overly athletic, and can't drive worth beans), I'd go down swinging. Or, more likely, crying, wetting my pants, and begging for mercy.
