So whats going to happen to the 8pm airings of Tom and Jerry? Don't tell me they're purging the cat and mouse off the network too?

A very welcome addition among the questionable and not-so-welcome additions at Boomerang over the last while.

Oh yes, very welcome. Now the 8-12 Boomerang schedule consists of Garfield and Friends (1980s), Dexter's Lab (1990's), What's New Scooby Doo (2000's), a whole hour of Pokemon (1990's), Duck Dodgers (2000's) and Justice League (2000's) and perhaps a half hour of Tom and Jerry.

Talk about a network that's lost it's way. Sheesh. Not like every Garfield episode ISN'T available on DVD anyway.

I LOVE Garfield! I have the first two volumes of the series (hope to add the last 3 by December). This will give me a reason to watch boomerang. And it'll give me something to watch at 7:00 PM central my time!

At least Garfield fits the motif of Boomerang!

See, this I don't mind watching. Now all they need do is add on the now defunct Mother Goose and Grimm, Rude Dog and the Dweebs, and Alvin and the Chipmunks for a nighttime schedule and I'd be happy.

Wow...Garfield and Heathcliff, 2 legendary orange striped fat cats of comic strip fame on the same channel. Magnif! ('Course, Heathcliff came first...) :D

It has been announced that Heathcliff and Marmaduke will NOT be returning to Boomerang next month (check the Spet sched thread). But Garfield stays. :)

This is awesome news! . . . although I don't have Boomerang. That has always confused me. I must call up Comcast very soon.

Will it be the 1993 program exchange syndicated version (with the we're ready to party theme pasted onto 1st season eps, and only eps up to and including the 1992 season) or the full run complete and uncut? Im betting on the former, but maybe they'll surprise us.
