Hmm kay so im new..secretly…hmm maybe people will catch on…So in this fanfiction theres about 3 new characters and..MAYBE one new villain. One of the new characters has been used before but I have permission from the author to use her character in a new way. This prologue it sounds like its just gotham...but its not youll see in the next chapter. Yeah so its fun....enjoy it!: P
I would like to say one thing though....I hate how they ended the Teen Titan series such a crappy episode to end such a great series...."Things Change" i think they should have changed that episode

All That’s Left.

Prologue

Wednesday April 14th 2006. 4: 56 PM

Now looking over it all, we were into too many bad things. Not enough things for our parents to notice. But enough to get us messed up, and it got us to the point to where we wanted….no needed to change.
I don’t know what I would have done if Crimson wasn’t there, and I think it went both ways. We lost three of our best friends. Not to the drugs, and law breaking that we had been so deep into at that point, no…they just vanished. Terra was the only one to give us any warning, she told Crimson first, and the news was passed on to me. The other two well as I said, they vanished.
I might as well tell you how we came to be. To start off, 4 years ago you wouldn’t be able tell that we are the same people we are today. Crimson used to have long shoulder length brown hair, now it’s black with a blotch of dark red or should I say “crimson” patch of hair. It now hangs right above her shoulders. Her eyes were the one thing you could remember her by, they were bright green, and unmistakable. I however, didn’t change as much. As I remember I had light brown hair that fell right below my ears, well now it’s a much darker brown and the tips are now a bright royal blue, it as well hangs right above my shoulders. My eyes however they’re just dark blue.
But I should really get back on track, it wasn’t until after Terra’s death that we realized we had “special abilities” if you would call them that. We went into shock, as I like to call it. Well that’s what happened to me. I had a serious flu for about a week, while Crimson she just wore summer clothes in the middle of the winter. This was after they left us, and about the time when we decided we were going to change. For a moment Gotham was at peace. Hmm, I did say for a moment.
Bruce noticed the changes at once and immediately I was put under hundreds…no thousands of tests. You see my mother and father had gone to Las Vegas for “business”, and seeing as my father and Bruce were good friends it was fitting that I stay at Wayne Manor. The tests weren’t painful; they were just boring and repetitive. If Bruce had just asked me I could have explained because I knew what was wrong with me before he did.
It was simple really. Whenever I would touch something, whether electrical or not it would respond. It was a transfer of electrons, if you wanted to get technical. Now Crimson…she’s another story. Her powers weren’t as easy to get used to, she had a super high temperature all the time, and no one knew what to do. Almost everything her fingers touched would burst into crimson red flames…which is where we got the name from. Slowly but surely we began to develop these powers. It took 4 years but we did it, and now it’s our time to shine.
We lost most of our younger years, we lost our 3 best friends one of them we will never see again, I basically lost my family they haven’t returned from their “business trip” and Crimson lost her father. We’ve lost a lot, and that’s enough. From here on out there’s no more loss…only gain.

Wow, this is interesting:) We have two brand-new heroes with powers that are uncontrollable, and we have Terra's name mentioned, and she is, according to the narrator we have, 'dead'. As Terra's one hundred and fifty-seventh fan of the world, I am very saddened by her death, but nonetheless very curious about the details of it.

So, keep writing! I'm looking forward to the next chapter!:D

Chapter 1

Friday June 23rd 20066:34 AM

Well would you look at that! See those numbers? Yes 6, 3, 4. Ironic….they add up to 13! Lucky number 13! Cliché little moment…I would say.
Right now were on Route 34 going towards Jump City. And by “were” I mean me and Crimson. We’re going to Jump City to find out some answers. From recent information we discovered where Terra died, and that one of our former friends was involved. We decided we were going to have a talk with this friend, me more than Crimson but a talk he will get. You didn’t think that we were just going to sit around in Gotham did you?
A bright yellow glow had just escaped from the rising sun and it lit up the area around us. Our destination was now in viewing distance, Jump City.
“It looks pretty doesn’t it?” Crimson muttered with a large yawn.
“No.” I lied, it was beautiful but the events surrounding it weren’t.
“C’mon admit it.” She began poking me and I was instantly annoyed. Trust me you would be too after driving for 4 hours.
“I’ll admit that Bruce is going to kill me.” After letting out a short sigh I continued. “I stole this car, food, money….guns. I thought we were better than that now.”
“We are. Its just with this trip, we don’t know what we will run into.” Crimson smiled, and then looked at the sign that was quickly coming towards us. “Welcome to Jump City.”
“Yeah more like Anal Town Number 236.”
“Alana…cheer up ‘kay?” She tried a friendly smile.
“I will once I get outta this car. And when we do, don’t call me Alana…and I won’t call you Jasmine.” I took my eyes away from the road and grinned at her.
“Okay Electra.” She said it sarcastically with a smile.
The city buildings surrounded us, there was the random morning-er running around completing errands. We seemed to be the only car on the road, traveling at a speed that continued to increase, I didn’t bother looking at the speeding limit I was too tired.
“We’re going there first.” I quickly took a left and then a right.
“Sounds good. Umm…could you slow down a bit? You’re making me nervous.” Crimsons grip tightened on the sides of her seat.
I decided not to reply, and just sped up more and that’s when we heard a series of sirens.
“I told you El! God…What do you think your doing?! STOP! When cops chase after you you’re suppose to stop!” Her eyes widened as I did a sharp left turn onto another empty street. I slowed down a bit and my grip tightened as I swerved again.
The alarms began to fade, and as I quickly glanced at the rearview mirror I saw the 3 police cars fall back and then disappear behind other buildings.
“Do you think they gave up? Cause that’s not what they usually do!” Crimson frantically kept looking back, while I focused on driving.
“I don’t know, just calm down. But we’re here.”
“Hopefully there gone for good.” And just as she said that we both heard a new siren blare out onto the street.
“Thanks, you just had to say it.”
“CRAP.” As the car screeched to a stop we both stumbled out onto the hard rock.
We were running again, from the cops. But this time we had a cause.
“Hurry!” Crimson shouted as she ran in front of me. The cave we were running into was filled with short little peaks and slopes and then a fence, with a padlock.
“Grrrrrrrreat” I pulled at the padlock. What would be the point of locking this place up? I mean it’s not like people were going to break in.
“I can break in!” She held the lock tightly in her right hand, there was a faint sizzling sound and a glow of red heat. When she opened her hand her palm was covered in a grey puddle of muck the remains of the padlock. The gates creaked open.
“Good job Crim.”
It was already too late; the titans swerved in and hustled out of the car. Robin pointed a finger at the point in between me and Crimson. Specifically where the gate had opened.
“Don’t move a muscle.” Robin shouted.
My eyes widened and my heart sank. Was that who I thought it was? I had no time to think about it Crimson grabbed my hand and pulled me deeper into the cave. We were running from the Teen Titans, no the unbeatable Teen Titans.
The cave began to get darker and darker as we traveled further into it. Then up ahead there was a faint light and an opening. As we ran faster we saw a statue. A statue of a person, and a plaque lay at her feet.
“Terra.” We both muttered sadly. I stumbled towards the statue, and kneeled at her feet. “I’m sorry.”
Tracing the letters on her plaque I relived all the memories we had, though they all weren’t good they were still memories. Crimson kneeled beside me, and I knew she was reliving the memories with me.
“What did we miss?” She spoke not to me, but to Terra as if at any moment she would come back to life and start joking with us once again. And then she did something I never saw her do before she turned away, and I had a feeling she was crying. All the while desperately trying to hide it from me.
Turned away from me she rubbed her eyes and spoke this time to me. “We need to get out of here.”
“It’s too late.” Robin stood a few feet behind us holding his bo staff out. Raven was to the left, Starfire to the right and Cyborg and Beast Boy right next to us. All ready to fight.
“You guys are under arrest. Anything you…” Robin was about to finish this speech when he saw me stand up with my hands clenched. Electric sparks were flying from my fists, Crimsons hands were engulfed in that familiar red flame and her eyes were a matching color.
I turned and faced Robin, our eyes met and he knew.
“Why hello Night.”
Well it looked like we weren’t the only ones to change completely.

Okay, now hold on. We know Terra was an old friend of Crimson(Jasmine) and Electra(Alana), but Robin was too!? Night, that's such a cool name, and that matchs him well. And judging by Electra's last comment, it seems like we'll be seeing a totally different version of Robin...Night soon!:D

Electra sounds and acts like a girl with laws of her own, and yet Crimson looks like a model citizen...judging by the scene with the cops and Titans. But then, in the conversation about stealing things, it was Electra who was mostly worried and Crimson who didn't care. Interesting duet:evil:

Oh, by the way. My best friend's name is Allana. I think I'm beginning to like Electra more for that. Keep writing!:D

Thanks Death_lash! You have good commenting...skills. Yes we will see a way different side of the law abiding Robin soon..and way more twists. So heres chapter 2! I changed it up a little bit by seeing it from different characters.
Oh yeah, This song fits this chapter pretty well: This Suffering by Billy Talent.
Why don't we end this lie,
I can't pretend this time
I need a friend to find, my broken mind,
Before it falls to pieces
Misery won't get the best of me
Cause now I'm calling, yes I'm calling on your bluff

Chapter 2
Friday June 23rd 20069:23 AM
Robin/Night

Night, I hadn’t been called that in 4 years, I didn’t want to be called that. I am now Robin, the gung-ho leader of the Teen Titans, I fight crime I don’t create it. Not anymore. Why did they come here? What’s their objective? Why are they at Terra’s grave? Why are they acting like this? Why do they have those powers? Why?!
“Robin we’re waiting! Do you want us to attack them or what? Dude? Hello!?” Beast Boys face and waving arms slowly appeared in front of me.
“No don’t attack them.” I said softly. The rest of the Titan’s turned their questioning gaze on me and relaxed.
Starfire’s cheerful voice was filled with anxiousness. “Robin you are well?”
“Yeah I’m fine.” I looked over all of my choices. They were obviously here for a reason so what is that reason?
Slowly I glanced up at Alana, there were no longer sparks falling from her hands and the girl with her was also back to normal. They were both walking up to us fast, with Alana taking the lead. When she was right in front of me, she looked at me with an expression I had never seen before, she was looking at me with hate, and rage. But also sadness.
“We need to talk.” Alana quickly snapped.
~
Jasmine/Crimson

The short ride to titan’s tower wasn’t fun at all. I could tell that Electra wasn’t the least bit impressed. With the recent events on hand I had decided it was my turn to drive, and I had tried to cheer her up by turning the radio on but it didn’t help. All that was on the radio was a broadcast about how the titans had arrested 3 bank robbers and there was a short speech from Robin…or should I say Night. She quickly leaned over and shut it off.
“You know it’s not going to help if you don’t talk to me.”
“He was the worst of us all. Don’t you remember?”
“Yes, of course I remember. But he’s changed…we’ve changed. Are you going to give him crap for changing?”
“No. I’m going to give him crap for forgetting. Forgetting everything we went through, forgetting us, and forgetting Terra.” She let out a deep breath and continued to look outside. “It’s like he didn’t even care!”
I pulled up to the building in the shape of a “T” and parked the car. The rest of the titans were already at the doors of the tower and we both saw them moving their hands around as they questioned Robin. The girl with red hair and a purple outfit, Starfire her name was, was trying shield Robin from all these questions. I smiled and then turned to say something to Electra but she was gone.
“Electra? El?” Squinting my eyes I saw her walking swiftly towards Robin. “Oh great.”
Slamming the car door, I jogged up to meet her. She had already started to shout at him. This was going to be fun to watch.
“Is that really what you thought of us? Of me? You thought we were just failures, that we weren’t going anywhere with our lives?”
“No. I never said that!”
“Well it sure looked like it.” She glared at him.
“Are you even going to give me a chance to explain?” Robin looked self-conscious, he was repeatedly checking the expressions of the rest of the Titans. ‘
“Why should I? You’ve already shown enough from what happened to Terra.”
The green dude’s eyes widened. “What do you know about Terra?!”
Robin ignored him. “Can we talk alone somewhere else?”
“Yeah I think that sounds like a good idea Robin.” Raven muttered.
“No! Robin should not have to comply to this girl’s mean words.” The tamaranian spoke up, looking furious.
“Star…” Cyborg put on a smile, seeing that Robin had some things he has to work out. “He’ll be fine let’s go make some breakfast.”
“No! What Robin is about to say I would rather like to hear, and I would also like to hear what this girl would like to say as well!”
This time it was Robin who spoke up, Beast Boy had been about to say something when Robin stopped him. “Starfire, I want to talk with her alone. That goes for you too Beast Boy.”
Starfire had been holding Robin’s arm and with his last word she let go. I didn’t really know these people but I already could tell that Starfire felt let down maybe even heartbroken. She looked at the rest of the titans seeking reassurance but she didn’t get any.
“I understand Robin” Starfire sighed and then walked inside. The rest of the titans followed her and on their way inside Cyborg turned around and said, “If you need anything just call.”
“Oh don’t worry he’ll be fine.” I half heartedly smiled and then made a hand motion that meant for him to leave.
“I said alone. That mean’s you too…Jasm-” Robin/Night had recognized me.
“It’s Crimson, and I think Electra would like me to stay here.” I crossed my arms. Of course she would make sure I stayed, we were best friends and she would want me to stay.
“Actually…” She looked at me remotely. “Could you…you know?”
What the hell…
I thought she…
Is she…
WHAT THE HELL…
Fine I get the point she doesn’t want me here, I didn’t really want to stay anyways. Robin looks like a nerdy brat to me anyways.
“Fine…I get it; I’ll wait in the car.” I started to walk away and then I turned around grinning. “If you need anything just call.”
“I will.” She faintly smiled then watched as I walked back to the car.
~
Alana/Electra
Finally we we’re alone.
“I don’t want to talk here. Let’s go to the backyard.” He reached over and grabbed my arm, his fingers were cold and I pulled back defensively.
“Don’t touch me. Especially right now.” He looked hurt but I didn’t care. I needed some explaining.
“What’s your problem?”
“What’s my problem? My problem is that you’ve become over-rated, you’ve become something that isn’t you in the least.”
“This is me. Don’t you understand that? I’m not Night, I’m Robin. I can’t even remember the person you remember.”
“So you don’t remember us? As in me and you? That’s great Robin….I mean Night. I don’t know what to call you anymore. I think Jerk fits well.”
“I don’t like what you’ve become.” He said angrily.
“Well it goes both ways.”
There was an awkward silence in which the air in between us became tenser as the time past.
“You knew Terra and you never helped her.” I muttered, and then Robin changed.
“So it’s Terra. She’s covered in rock. She’s nothing less, and nothing more. Meh, she helped me get rid of Slade. At least she was good for something. ” He smiled and it wasn’t heartfelt, it wasn’t friendly, and it wasn’t in the least bit nice. He looked at me and I didn’t see Robin and I didn’t see the good Night all I saw was evil and that was when I slapped him. The sound echoed through the area around us, and a bird in a nearby tree flew away.
I truly didn’t mean for it to be as hard as it was. Hmm so maybe I just lied.
“I have nothing to say to you.” I whispered, staring at a spot in the distance.
He raised one of his hands and gently touched the spot I had hit him. There was a red mark forming and he sincerely looked shocked.
“We’re going to look for Jacob, if you know where he is tell me.” There was no point in asking this question, I knew he didn’t have an answer. I turned around and was about to leave when he said something that made me stop.
“Is this how it’s going to end?” He appeared to actually care.
“I think it ended 4 years ago.” I took a breath, I was really tired, my eyes felt extremely heavy.“I want Night back, my Night. And I know you remember. Like you remembered Terra, and you pretended not to.” I looked over his new outfit. “Then again she probably didn’t know it was you. With that gaudy outfit, you look like a colorful Batman and you act like there’s a stick up your ass so that’s definitely a big change. We all changed into better people. But you’re just someone else.”
I was beginning to feel drowsy, and then he said something.
“I……if…you….Are…..okay?”
Robin began to approach me, his arms were stretched out, but most of my view was clouded.
“I…”
Everything was in slow motion, as I fell on the soft grass, and as I glimpsed Crimson coming. After I just saw black.

Hmm...we knew Robin/Night was pals with Electra and Crimson, but we definitely didn't know that they were 'crime-creators'. Jeezums, I think I can kinda understand Electra's shock:eek: Crimson's shock at how Electra wanted her to leave was hillarious; I think she and Cyborg will make a good combie.

And Electra and Robin's relationship...am I the only one who's getting this feeling that they were going out long time ago? When Robin was Night? It would be fun to watch...*smirks*

...oh, poor Terra...*sob sob*

Ahaha, Yeah i pretty much based Crimson/Jasmine of my best friend Jasmine so you know it works out, they act pretty dumb and they'll stick up for you when you need it which you will see in the later chapters. So the next chapter will probably be here tomorrow! :anime:

Chapter 3
Flashback…
August 15th 20035:15 AM
Robin

Old clothes and letters covered my bedroom floor, I was looking for something, something that I only used when I absolutely needed to. Slowly I took out the red cell phone that my best friend gave me. This was the “absolutely needed to” time. I flipped it open and then dialed the number. After waiting a few seconds someone picked up.
“What Night?”
“I have an unexpected guest from the past.”
There was a brief moment of silence.
“Is it Jasmine?” He voice rose with the question.
“No. It’s Terra.” I walked over to the door, checking to see if anyone was awake. Something I highly doubted. “She doesn’t recognize me. Should I tell her it’s me?”
“No. Don’t start anything.” I heard papers shuffling.
“She still can’t control her powers, I should help her.”
“Night, if she hasn’t come out to you about her powers then don’t do anything. Act as if you didn’t know her. Do what Robin would do. Terra is unpredictable. Just leave it be, it’ll work itself out.”
“I’m not sure about this. It could backfire. Terra needs guidance, she needs at least one of her old friends.”
“I told you. No. It sounds like I don’t care but I do. Terra was my friend too, but were not who we were before.”
“You sure?”
“Yes and next time Night…call me later. Its way too early.” And then he hung up.

Friday June 23rd 20061:15 PM
Crimson
The Teen Titans were nice, they brought food and water, and a pillow. The pillow was for Electra, and so was the food and water but I had some too. Robin wanted to bring her inside, he said it would be easier for him to “take care” of her but I refused and that’s when he stopped talking.
We brought her to the backyard. She was still out cold; I think it was from lack of sleep and food that made her faint or maybe the stress. I should have known better. I knew I shouldn’t have let her drive for 4 hours, I knew she didn’t get enough sleep the night before. She was busy worrying about getting caught.
So right now I had no clue what to do next. Electra is the one who usually tells me what’s next. Beast Boy and Cyborg were watching me, as if I was going to attack Robin, while Raven sat inside doing god knows what. Starfire, however was trying to make Robin answer questions and was failing miserably.
“Who is this girl? Why is half your face red? Why do you not talk to me? What is the matter Robin?”
I was kneeling down near Electra and she had begun to stir. “I think she’s waking up.”
She propped up on her elbow and half sat up. “What…happened?”
“You fainted.” I told her. Robin knelt beside her.
“Here, drink this it’ll make you feel better.”
She looked uncomfortable but she drank it. I helped her sit up fully.
“What did you say? I mean before I…you know fainted.”
“Nothing. I said nothing.” He looked at the floor.
“You guys are never going to work this out are you?” I spoke up, then I stared at the other titans. “Robin are you going to explain to them or do I have to?”
“Don’t” He muttered.
“I want to know whatever you two know about Terra.” Beast Boy questioned pointing to me then Electra.
“And I wish to know what kind of relationship this girl has with Robin!”
“And I wanna know why there’s all this drama.” Cyborg crossed his arms.
Robin stood up and turned to Starfire, Cyborg, and Beast Boy.
“Terra was friends with them before she came to Jump City, and they’re old friends of mine from Gotham.”
“I’m an old friend of Robin, Electra is his girlfriend.”
“As in she is a girl and just a friend of Robin.” Starfire said through clenched teeth.
“Don’t worry about it.” She stood up. “Crimson, stop. Let’s just leave.”
Why would she want to leave at a point like this, at a point where she could fix it all, or end it all, or just exploit Robin. I studied Electra, she had an overall confused look to her.
“You better watch out Night.” I said and I pointed one finger at Robin as we turned around and left.
~~
Robin
“Dude you have some major explaining to do.” Beast Boy said.
I had no choice, I could ignore the question but I knew I would end up paying for it later.
“Where’s Raven? If I’m going to explain I want everyone to hear it.”
At that moment Raven appeared out of one of her black vortex in front of me.
“Robin, that girl with the red and black hair came into the tower and stole equipment.”
“Where were you Raven!?” Cyborg asked.
“I was meditating in my room. I didn’t hear her…at first.”
“What did she steal Raven?” I stared at Raven who didn’t answer my question. “Raven! What did she steal!?”
“Robin, she stole things from your closet, gadgets and whole bunch of stuff. I would have stopped them but they were already gone.”
“Damnit!”
Knowing Crimson she probably just did it for fun, but that didn’t change the fact that it pissed me off. Those were old items, and new gadgets that I had been working on, who knows what else she took. I turned on my heel and started to head for my R-cycle. It wouldn’t be hard to find them.
“Robin I will assist you in this search for your lost items!” Starfire flew beside me
“No. I’ll do it myself, besides I need you to stay here and take care of the tower.” It was a sad excuse but it would be good enough for Starfire. As Starfire flew back I heard Beast Boy yell out at me.
“When you get back you’re going to explain!”
He wanted to know about Terra. Terra…I promise Beast Boy, I’ll explain. One day.
~
Electra
“What is wrong with you! I leave you for two seconds and you end up stealing?! Turn around! Go bring it back! Right now!”
She told me she left her watch there, so I let her go. Two seconds later she opens the backdoor throws a box of stuff in the car and starts driving. I couldn’t even leave her for two seconds! What are we suppose to do now?
“Ahahaha its nothing! Only a couple things that we might need.” She looked at me grinning but I wasn’t smiling. I picked up the box and looked at all the things.
“These are…Robins!” I picked up a black bird-a-rang. “Turn around!”
“No. He won’t miss them! They’re his old ones!”
“Jasmine, this is stealing! If you don’t stop the car, I’ll stop it for you.” I felt my fingers tingle and my eyes flashed a dangerous blue. But she still kept driving.
“Stop!”
“No.”
“Stop!”
“No!”
Then she drove through a red light when she hadn’t been paying attention. There was a screech from two near by cars that swerved away in time and then coming towards Crimsons side there was a huge transport truck that was speeding straight towards us. I held my hand out and quickly used my powers to put the 18 wheeler in park and do a sharp right turn. Coming on my side was two cars one headed straight for me I turned it quickly and it flipped over from the sharp right turn. The other however was too fast and it hit the front end of the Honda Civic that we were driving. We instantly got whipped to the side of the car as it started to spin. I closed my eyes, when it finally came to a halt I opened my eyes.
My head was throbbing and when I touched the side of my forehead there was blood on my fingers. I looked over at Crimson, she looked okay, the side of her face was bruised but she would be fine. If I hadn’t stopped that 18 wheeler she would have been dead. She turned to me shocked and then looked outside.
“Oh my god.”
I turned and saw what shocked her, there were cars everywhere, smashed into each other, flipped over or smashed into something else. Smoke was clogging up the air around us. It was a wreck.
Slowly I pushed the door open and I stepped out. I stumbled and then regained my balance. We were in the middle of it all and we were the ones who caused it. The truck driver had got out and began to yell.
“****!” So much for not making a big scene.
“We have to go!” Crimson was grabbing me by the shoulders and repeating what she had just said. “WE HAVE TO GO!”
“Why?!” I looked around, sure it was a wreck and we created it but that didn’t mean we had to leave. But she didn’t have time to answer, up ahead I saw a car rise up a few feet off the concrete and then in an instant it was hurtled at us. We both ducked and it flew straight over our heads, and landed with a deafening screech.
After standing up we both turned our heads to the transport truck. It was slowly but surely hovering off the ground and then it was also sent flying at us with extreme speed.
“Get behind me. Quick!” Crimson told me. She put her hands up in front of her and I felt her body rise in temperature. A lot. There was a brief searing sound and when I stared behind us, there the truck lay and there was a bubbly outline of a person.
“Now were equal.” She smiled.
That smile didn’t last long though. It was quickly wiped off her face when a slim figure walked out from the clouds of smoke. He wore clothes that were half orange and half black. He wore a metal belt holding different types of gadgets and metal shoulder pads. His dark brown hair covered one of his eyes and was messy all the way around. I remember his eyes used to be a kind hazel, but now they were a shady brown. He smiled wickedly.
We had found best friend number 5.

That was an evil cliffhanger you know. But, I can't really bother you about it cause I do the same. This is a great story you've got going here. I like how you took the bad side Robin has been shown to have and turned it into something like this. I had a feeling from the begining that Electra and Robin had been together, but I'm always one for looking at signs that were never meant to be there. You've only just started the story, but there's so much I wanna know! Keep writing, or, as you said to me, else.

Okay, I don't have much time right now, but I have to write this so I will.

AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT OF SLADE AT THE LAST PART!?

I mean, okay, when Robin called 'somebody' because of Terra, I thought that the 'somebody' might be Slade, but then thought better of it, but when you said that 'last best friend' was wearing black/orange clothes, the only one I could think of was Slade......or Mammoth. Which I hope not.

And I KNEW IT! I knew Robin and Electra were going out. At least, long time ago.

And Crimson...she stole Robin's gadgets?.....I knew she was one dangerous person, what with stealing guns and all, but hey...that was a bit too much!*sighs*

Post new one soon!:D

Chapter 4
Friday June 23rd 20066:39 PM
Robin
The cars were all jammed up and it was because of an accident up ahead. I swerved in between each car and made it to the scene in no time at all. Stepping off of the R-cycle I noticed that the car Alana had been driving was here. The front end was smashed up but it appeared as though it wasn’t serious. I studied the area around, there were smashed up cars everywhere, and there was a transport truck with a hole in the middle of it. Smoke flew out from two cars that had smashed into each other head first and it was slowly spreading throughout the intersection. I flipped open my communicator.
“Titans, get here now.”
Something was wrong, I could feel it. I heard an ambulance in the distance and then I heard a big crash up ahead of me. I ran towards it. I saw something…no not something a person fly past me, someone wearing orange and black.
Slade?
I started to run faster. As I got closer to the middle of all the action I heard a series of grunts, gasps, watch outs, and yells.
It was all playing out before my eyes, Crimson was standing off to the side and she looked hurt. Not physically but emotionally. The guy wearing orange and black wasn’t Slade, he wasn’t wearing a mask, and I knew Slade wouldn’t go around flaunting his identity around it was just not like Slade. I automatically searched for Alana...crap…Electra. I had to start calling her that, it was what she wanted.
I found Electra shortly after finding Crimson, she wasn’t too far. The guy wearing the orange and black suit was pinning her against the wall, and he was having a hard time.
“HEY!” The guy slowly turned his head around towards me. “That outfits already taken, you might want to try a new one.” I whipped out my bo-staff and he just laughed.
Al...Electra forced her hands out onto his torso and there was a flash of blue light and sparks emitted from her hands, he flew back onto the pavement but landed with ease. Brushing off his pants he stood up.
In a raspy voice he spoke to Electra, “I’ll get you later.”
And then he turned to Crimson maliciously.
“Don’t touch her!” Electra shouted as she ran at him. He held his hand up and she stopped running for an instant and then was thrown…no it looked like she was being pulled back to the 18 wheeler. She wasn’t set nicely back on the pavement either. Crimson started to move now; I couldn’t see a clear emotion on her face just blankness. At first, she seemed to just walk to him but now I could see her more clearly she was running at him with a closed fist lit with crimson flames. She pulled back the punch and hit him square in between the neck and the shoulder. He hardly moved at all but where she had punched him there was a circle of bare skin that was red from the burn. He held his hand out and motioned it upwards. With the motion she went up.
He spoke out to her. “What goes up must come down.”
Looking up at her he let his hand fall and along with it came her. I took this opportunity to take a running leap at him and came down with my bo staff in hand. He groaned as the force of gravity brought him down with me.
“Along with you.” I muttered, Backing away from him, I got ready for his attack. But he didn’t look at me, instead he directed himself towards Electra. She had just got up and was slowly regaining herself.
No.
I hadn’t really known him at all and already he knew who my friends were. With a flick of the wrist he sent a red Volkswagen flying towards her.
“ALANA!” I yelled, she instantly looked up and saw the tiny Volkswagen soaring to her. The guy turned away from me and started floating towards Crimson. While Ala…(I’m just going to give it up.) Alana stared at the car, in her head she was trying to make the best decision.
Well whatever that decision was it was a bad one, she failed miserably. The car had fallen onto the concrete and was slowing down but still traveling pretty fast towards her. She first was going to move out of the way but she didn’t have enough time. Then she held her hands out.
What a stupid decision. I started to run to her as she held her hands out and they fired sparks while glowing blue, in two seconds I heard a piercing screech, a quick snap and then a quiet moan.
“No…Alana!” Crimson stood up now there was a clear emotion written on her face; anger. Both her fists were bursting with flames and her eyes were glowing.
The guy just laughed, “You really think you can beat me? Tough luck chick.”
Crimson was the first to act, she ran in with yet another punch that almost hit him in the face, he tripped her and then took something out of one of the compartments on his belt. She stood up and tried again, this time she did manage to strike a blow but not before he stuck something in the side of her thigh. She collapsed slowly into his arms, he grinned wickedly. In his hand he was holding a needle.
I stopped running and took out three birdarangs. I flung them directly at him and they would have hit if he had not rose in to the air before my birdarangs could reach him. I swore under my breath as he disappeared into the sky with Crimson.
Where the hell was my team? They were supposed to be here to help me. Oh speaking of them…here they are…late.
Cyborg ran in, Raven and Starfire flew beside him, and Beast Boy dropped down beside me transforming back into himself from an eagle.
“Why were you late!” I yelled angrily, I had needed their help even though I wasn’t going to admit it.
“Robin! Man, it’s a mess getting here, there are cars everywhere.”
“That’s not good enough!”
“What exactly happened here Robin?” Raven asked, she used her powers to stop the car from smoking and to put a few other cars the right side up.
“There was an accident…and there was someone. They were here Alana, and Jasmine. I think they were the ones who started it, but they definitely didn’t finish it.”
“That girl was here?!” Starfire spoke up. “We need only now to send them to jail! Look what they have done! It is what any vill-”
There was a quiet thumping sound coming from behind me, as I turned I saw the red Volkswagen in a jerking motion being pushed away from the 18 wheeler. Alana, I had completely forgotten about her. Running over, the Volkswagen continued to be pushed away I pulled it away from the truck with little force.
“God…” She looked up at me, and then at the hand I was holding out.
Just take it I pleaded to her in my head, and then out loud. “Please, just take it.”
She was sitting out on the pavement with one of her arms holding the other close to her body, her legs (which she had been using to push the car) were sprawled out on the pavement.
“In this case I would. But…well….you see…I think my arm is broken.” She smiled wanly but I could tell she was in pain. I knelt down beside her. The police and the ambulance had just arrived but I wasn’t planning on taking her to the hospital. The Titans tower was much more suitable.
“Let me see.” I said reaching out.
“No.” She pulled back a little and then cringed.
“Just…come on. Let me see.”
“No”
“Alana! Do you want me to help you or not?”
She didn’t reply she just stared at me. Actually she stared right through me. I picked up her arm and then looked at the one she was shielding away. I slowly pulled her sleeve up and saw that her arm was twice the size of the normal one. And it was darker in some areas.
“It is broken. You tried to stop the car with your arm didn’t you?”
“Yeah…” She looked away. “Stupid idea.”
I helped her up, while trying not to touch her arm.
“Come back to the tower with me. Raven can heal you arm, and you can stay there while your in Jump City.”
She avoided my comment. “Where’s Crimson?” Then she started to look worried. “Where is she?!”
“That guy took her. He injected her with something and then he flew off with her.”
She stood there for a second and then looked at me sternly. “You do realize who that was don’t you? That wasn’t just a random villain. It was Jacob.”

Jacob. Jacob. Jacob.

Hmm...

It's...a surprisingly normal name for a guy who's friend with Electra, Crimson, Night and Terra.

So...Jacob is the one Robin called about Terra?

And he attacked Crimson and Electra?

What's his power? Telekinesis?

Jeezums, I have so many questions!:(

Post next one soon soon soon soon!!!:D

I was thinking it has something to do with gravity... but maybe that's just becuase you italicized it here:

He spoke out to her. “What goes up must come down.”
Looking up at her he let his hand fall and along with it came her. I took this opportunity to take a running leap at him and came down with my bo staff in hand. He groaned as the force of gravity brought him down with me.
“Along with you.” I muttered, Backing away from him, I got ready for his attack.

I dunno, maybe it didn't have anything to do with his powers. I liked the chapter very much. :anime: Update soon and explain more about Jacob!

Ohh Aquagirl is smart! :D Shes right about the "something to do with gravity" part. Ahaha that was exactly why i italicized it :p Good job! Kudos to you:)

Death_Lash you questions shall be answered soon! And the name Jacob wont be lasting long it is way to normal....besides any superhero needs a superhero name:P

Hmm so next chapter will be out...sometime tomorow :)

Chapter 5
Saturday June 24th 20068:34 AM
Alana
Opening my eyes I stared up at the ceiling. I blinked a couple times, and then sat up. The bed I was laying on was hardly comfortable but I must have slept on it cause…I woke up. Hmm. You get it. The room I was in was cold and dull. It was the infirmary, and then I remembered where I was and the situation.
My head was the first thing to hurt and then my arm and then my….well that’s too emo for right now. I rubbed my arms to regain some heat, and that’s when I realized that I wasn’t wearing my usual attire. I was wearing my white tank top and then just underwear. My pants were missing in action. Hmm…we’ll have to figure this one out.
My arm was in a thin cast and it felt normal besides the minor pain. Hey, it was better than it being broken. I hopped off the bed and stretched.
So I was sure I was in the titan’s tower but I was unsure of what to do next. I guess Robin had persuaded me to come here. I glanced down at my watch 8:36. Wow that’s pretty early…for me. I mean I’m the type of person who gets up whenever she wants to, which is usually late. Robin wasn’t that type of person. Night was.
I heard the infirmary door open. Robin walked in holding a tray of food in one hand and my clothes in the other. He noticed me, his eyes widened at the sight of me half naked and all of a sudden he was doing a balancing act between my clothes and the food. I walked over and grabbed my clothes and he stopped moving, with his back faced towards me he said. “Sorry, I didn’t know you were awake.”
“Sure.” I smiled faintly and then put my pants on. He turned around now knowing that I was half dressed. He handed me my blue sweater, and then we walked back to the infirmary bed. I sat down.
“Are you hungry?” He asked me bluntly. Well it wasn’t bluntly to him, it was Robin-ish. He hesitantly walked over and sat on the bed across from mine.
“Perhaps…”
Aren’t these great conversational skills? We used to be able to talk for hours about nothing and now this is what it’s like. This is great. I wonder what he brought for me to eat, probably some shredded oats cereal or oatmeal or something healthy. I looked at the box of cereal…it didn’t have a label that said “Now with more fiber!” instead I stared down at an extremely happy white bunny looking down at an extremely colorful bowl of cereal.
I laughed. “Silly Robin Trixs are for kids.”
He smiled and then poured a bowl. He reached for the milk and poured it in.
“So, you’ve gotten over the fact that I’m not Night anymore?”
“No.” I replied quickly. “I think you are him deep down.”
“Why would I be him deep down? I’m already Robin, all you see now is Robin.”
“What about when I slapped you, huh? Was that Robin…or Night?”
He didn’t reply.
“That’s what I thought.” I took the bowl of cereal rudely from his hands. “Batman was the one who forged you into this person didn’t he? You were being two people...and you hid Robin from us the last couple of months you were with us too. You hid him just like your hiding Night right now. God it’s like multiple personalities here.”
“Enough.” Robin slammed his fist on the metal table that was in between us, it startled me. “Don’t you get it? I changed! I don’t want to be Night, his choices were not good choices and I don’t ever want to go back there again! His past is gone and I don’t want to have anything to do with it anymore.”
“Then why the hell am I here?!”
There was a moment of silence. We both just sat there staring at each other.
If he didn’t want anything to do with his past why did he bring me back here?
“I…I still…” He stared away from me.
C’mon spit it out. Just say it and it will change everything. We can work this out, just swallow your pride and talk to me.
“I…” He sighed. “Want you to join the team.”
Pfft…what an anus.
“That’s great…” I paused, and then I sincerely looked at him. “I can’t right now, I need to find Crimson. And figure out what happened to Jacob.”
“I’ll help you.”
“No, you need to sort out some of your problems. Cause you are really…scared of something you shouldn’t be.” I stood up and grabbed my blue sweater. “Me.”

Crimson
This was the most boring-est, unfun thing I’ve ever done in my life.
What I had figured out was that my dear friend Jacob or Jake gave me a shot of something and then I woke up here. In this four walled room of boredom. There’s a bed, that’s not really comfortable, and a toilet, and a door…that’s locked. Kind of like a prison cell except whiter.
White…like marshmallows. Mmmm marshmallows. Gah, I gotta start thinking more about how to get out of here then about food. I sighed. I was too hungry to think.
My powers are useless too, I tried already on the door but nothing happened. It’s like this room was made for me. The material on the walls is a hard foamy non-flammable thing…so is everything else.
There’s also this annoying little camera that follows me around, wherever I move in this small room. So even if I were to concoct an extravagant escape plan…they would know. You don’t realize how much this sucks…
So what’s the deal with Jake then? Robin moved to Jump City and is now so much more heavenly then he was before and it seems like Jacob got worse. And what was the point of capturing me? Maybe he likes me…looking at this room I think not. Gah, why didn’t they both just stay in Gotham, we wouldn’t have this problem.
Well I could look at the bright side, Alana could be dead. Wait…that’s not good. I meant…she could be alive and almost dead. I’m not good at this. Well…at least she’s with Robin? I think I’m the luckier one in this situation.
At least I have one friend in this room, a little fly that just landed on my arm.
“Why hello fly man! I shall name you Nebula #2 and you shall be my…Ew! It just pooped on me.”
Pfft. No more Nebula, I flick her…him…it away. Pathetic…I know.
Besides now someone’s opening the door. I stood up.
“Sit down.” Jacob was back, he was still wearing that black and orange uniform.
I didn’t sit.
“I said sit down.” He was holding a tray of ugly looking food, but still my stomach grumbled.
“I don’t care what you said. I’m not going to listen to you. You have no power over me.”
“Is that what you think?” He held his hand up and gave the air a high five, and I was being pushed back to the hard uncomfortable bed. The tray of ugly food was floating at me, it landed abruptly near my hand.
“Here, eat” He turned around to leave.
“How do I know you didn’t poison it? You knew I wouldn’t fall for that one Jacob.”
“If I had wanted you dead you would already be dead, and the names Steele.” He paused. “You’re going to help me Jasmine, just like old times.” He walked away and the door shut quietly behind him.
“Pfft.” I started to talk to myself again. “You’re worse then Robin. Jerk. Yeah! You walk away.”
What the hell was I suppose to do. I was stuck in here again, alone. Me, myself and I. Good times were surely ahead of me now.
“Don’t worry about it, right now isn’t the time to worry” That’s what Alana would be telling me right now, but my dear friend right now is the perfect time to worry.
I looked at the camera, its red eye staring at me. “Oh you’re clever” I muttered sarcastically. “Steele, what the crap is that…it’s just your last name. At least I put some thought into my name! ”
I sighed impatiently then glanced at the ugly bum food. It really was disgusting, all grey and goopy and ugh…this sucks a lot. How the hell was I suppose to get out of here?
I then patted the round lump in my pocket for reassurance; at least my stealing was going to pay off for once. Anyways Robin doesn’t need his communicator…right?

Oh, Crimson's clever!:anime: She stole the communicator? Jeezums, I never thougt about that.

So. What was Robin saying? That he still had those feelings about her? Poor Starfire*sighs* Man, it hurts my delicate heart just to read about those two kiddos*shakes head*

And about Jacob...okay, Steele...and Crimson, now that's interesting. I mean, okay, their reunion with Terra or Robin didn't go so well, no. But nearly KILLING Electra and Crimson as soon as they met, then KIDNAPPING Crimson? Now imprisoning her and threatening her? Boy, you gotta choose your friends wisely*shakes head*

Great, as usual. Post the next one ASAP!:D

Chapter 6
Saturday June 24th 2006
Electra 9:17 AM
I had no idea what I was going to do. Its not like I could track Crimson, we didn’t have spiffy communicators like the Teen Idiots. Well most of them are Teen Idiots, that Raven girl is pretty cool, she fixed my arm. She’s definitely not stupid either, I attempted to steal her communicator before I left, like a parting gift. But she caught me, and I was surprised so I ended up breaking it with my powers.
Though I did manage to steal one from Beast Boy, he didn’t even notice I just kept talking about Terra and he didn’t feel anything as I swiped it from his belt. There’s one of the Teen Idiots for you. Anyways, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. So I left and now I have absolutely no idea of what to do next.
It’s still pretty early out and the sun is high in the sky, beating down on me along with the rest of the early morning people. The street I walk down is crowded with people, and every 5 seconds I bump into some one and it’s starting to annoy me. I need somewhere to think, somewhere to find out where Jacob took Crimson.
JumpCity Library, that sounds good enough to me. It was time to get some work done.
Robin 10:56 AM
Alana had left the tower in less than an hour, and I immediately went to my room. She was right; I needed to sort some things out. But some of it I already had sorted out. The Titans would be fine without me…for a little while. I had to show her, and I only knew of one way that she would actually listen.
With things this way we would never let each other help each other. We were both to stubborn for that. The titans were a different story, they wanted more information from me, and I wasn’t so sure of giving it to them now. With time I would, but right now I was going to hold on to something I thought disappeared 4 years ago.
Raven 11:15 AM
“Beast Boy I don’t think she cared about what you wanted to know really.” I muttered.
“And why do you think that Raven?!” Beast Boy was sitting on the other end of the couch and he moved closer to me. “She did answer most of my questions!”
I looked up over my book. “Where’s your communicator then?”
He searched his belt, “DUDE! She took it!”
Starfire took one look at Electra…or Alana or whatever that girls name was and turned on her heel and left. I could feel the jealousy roll off her as she strode past me. It was like she didn’t have any trust in Robin. She returned as soon as Electra left the tower back to her past grumpy self, and it wasn’t like Starfire to be grumpy.
The rest of the titans (besides Beast Boy) didn’t take to much notice to her explanations about Terra, we all knew that it could be a lie and we knew that she wasn’t going to stay long. I was sure of it, when she came into the room without Robin it was a sure sign that things hadn’t gone so well.
Most of them were silent, I assumed that they were each thinking about our team leaders past. But then again assume makes an ass out of you and me.
Besides I wasn’t worried about anything, there was no major villain for us to hunt down, (and by us I meant Robin) Slade was dead. I had only one thing to worry about but that was far off, it was too early to worry about that.
I was awake when Robin woke up earlier. He came in to get breakfast for Electra, and I could already sense something different about him. I had a bad feeling things were going to change. For all of us.
Crimson 12: 32 PM
Boredom...holy crap. Absolutely nothing has happened. I really hope Electra gets here soon...where is she anyways!?
Beast Boy 2:47 PM
AH! I am so bored. It’s unbelievable. We haven’t done anything all day, except sit in the living room and talk about this new girl and Robin and Robin’s past and what we all think about it and AH. How boring is that? Trust me Robin isn’t all he’s cracked up to be.
“Raven! Robin doesn’t care about Electra, she’s just another girl to him.
Raven stared at me. “You sincerely think that Robin doesn’t care about this girl? Beast Boy you are blind.”
“I’m not blind!”
Starfire had gone to her room, and none of us really knew what to say to her…well at least I didn’t. I also didn’t know what sincerely meant.
“If he cared about her he wouldn’t have let her leave! And its so obvious he likes Starfire, and she likes him. End of story.”
“Well at least you’re not totally blind man.” Cyborg laughed.
Raven spoke up again from her book. “All I’m sure of is that we should talk to Robin about this. He needs to explain some things, or else we’ll just keep sitting here trying to decipher his past.”
I sighed and then tapped my foot. “How are we ever going to talk to him if he locked himself in his room again?” Then I added. “He has no life.”
“I do have a life and I didn’t lock myself in my room Beast Boy, I was looking for this.” He held a folded piece of paper in his hand. “This is a map of Jump City and all its surrounding cities, some of the abandoned ones are listed too.”
We all rose from the couch quickly, and joined him at the kitchen table. Raven had said Robin was different, but to me he still was the same old uptight Robin. He unfolded the paper and spread it out on the kitchen table.
“This is where the accident took place. The man who created it, he left the scene over here,” He pointed to a red dot. “Now I want you to find out if there are any abandoned facilities all around here.” He circled what looked to me a huge circle.
“Robin! That’s huge! You know how long it will take us to find that?” I gasped. It was so BIG! Like half of Jump City! But more like a quarter of Jump City and then more of un-Jump City. Yeah I make sense.
“Yes. I do. But I can cut you’re work in half, I’m sure that wherever this guy is hiding it is out of Jump City and I’m sure that its a big place, probably a warehouse of some sort.”
Raven curiously looked at Robin. “Our work? Aren’t you going to help us?”
“Yes, but I have some other things I’m working on that surround this. Right now I need you guys to round up Starfire and do some research on the area here.” He pointed to it. “And then I want you to search through those areas.”
“Aw man this sucks!” Cyborg muttered.
Robin turned to Cyborg. “I actually have another assignment for you.” Robin moved over to the computer and pulled up a file that was mostly blank except for the name and the age. Jacob Steele. 18.
“I want you to get as much info on this guy as you can.” He sighed. “Good Luck.”
He walked out of the room and back towards his bedroom.
“There goes are leader again…”
Robin 5:38 PM
It was time.
I walked over to my closet and slid open the door, I stared at all the Robin uniforms. Red green and yellow were now going to be traded for black, and blue. The color of the night sky.
Pushing back all the colorful uniforms, I uncovered the uniform that was my past. The one that was going to be released once again.
I put on the long boots and the black pants, the tight black shirt, and the dark blue gloves. I picked up the belt and snapped it into place, placed a bright blueN in the place where the R once rested. The last thing was my most valued item. I reached up and touched my mask, this is the one thing I wouldn’t take off, I picked up the dark glasses and placed them on top of the mask, the glasses covered the mask completely. No worries. Glancing into the mirror I saw myself, 4 years ago. The mask hid beneath the black glasses. My hair was the only thing that still made me Robin, but that wasn’t going to last long. I made my way over to the adjoining bathroom, and to the sink. I let my hands run under the semi warm tap water. I ran my fingers through my hair loosening the dry gel which came out easy. My hair was now just a mess. It no longer was perfectly spiked up, it lay on top of my head normally. Just as it would be if I had just got out of the shower. It was as close as it would get to what I had before, besides I couldn’t grow my hair out in 5 minutes.
I thought this idea over, and then continued on out into the main hallway. It was pitch black so I didn’t have to worry about being seen, I wouldn’t be here for long anyways. Quietly I made my way up the stairs that led to the rooftop.
The sun was setting, and most of Jump City was in darkness, only a tiny bit was bathed in that dark yellow-orange glow. I sighed and then paced over to the edge of the rooftop. I gazed down, and then swiftly jumped off the edge.
Goodbye Robin, Hello Night.
Electra 7:32 PM
My eyes were burning, and I was getting tired of searching endless maps for the best place that Jacob would go to. It was really impossible. If you tried one place you would find another better one…and so on and so on. It was plainly tiring. I stood up and looked at my watch, 7:32 pm. Oh my god. I had spent the whole day at the library and got nothing done!
“Crap.” I stared around, there was no one here besides me.
I had left most of my stuff in the infirmary but most of it wasn’t important. Quickly I walked out of the library, it was semi-dark out but there was still some sunlight. So I would be okay finding my way around the city.
There was a small motel up ahead, about 3 blocks to go. I had some cash and maybe if I got a room it would be easier for me to think things over and develop a better plan then what I had…which was nothing.
I stuffed my hands in my pockets and kept walking, there were hardly any people on the street, and only a few cars passed by me. I heard someone grunting and yelling, and then a girl’s muffled scream. I looked into a dark alley way, I saw someone struggling with what looked like a 14 year old girl. I walked into the alley way.
“Hey!” I yelled. The man looked up at me and the girl stopped screaming. “Get off her!”
He actually listened, or maybe not. He smiled nastily at me, his hair was a mess, his face was dirty, and he wore tattered clothing. Besides that he was very muscular, not in the good way either, in the scary husky way. I suddenly felt very weak.
The girl took her chance and ran.
“You’re much prettier then this one.” He looked me over, and then started to approach me. I felt my eyes widen. I took one step back and bumped into an equally muscular build. I turned around and saw another man, this one was wearing a black overcoat and he was shorter, but looked equally creepy. He moved his hands down the sides of my arms, I shivered.
“Don’t try and run.”
“I wasn’t going to.” I glared and the turned around and punched him in the face, just hitting the side of his eye.
“God damnit!” He raised one hand up to his eye and held it there. “This ***** punched me! Get her!”
The other man turned to me maliciously, grabbed my elbows and forced me hard against the cool brick wall. I felt my cheek scrape against the brick. He was really strong, I could hardly move. Frantically I thought of something to do. I used my powers and he instantly dropped me.
I fell down on the concrete, and slowly stood up.
“What the hell was that!?” The shorter guy yelled at his friend, his eye was now puffy.
“She….she…electrocuted me…”
“It wasn’t enough to kill you but it was enough for you to back off!” I yelled.
They glanced at each other, then at me. They were smiling. One of them rubbed there hands together, and the other laughed. They both began to walk towards me.
Someone dressed in black dropped down in front of me. They stood up and turned to the taller man. Swiftly he punched the man in the stomach, and then straight in the nose. I heard a cracking muffled sound and when I leaned over to see, his face was streamed with blood. The other man was slowly backing away, the guy in the black clothing walked over and shoved him against the wall.
“How do you like it?” He whispered, and then threw him on the concrete next to the other man. Who had now began to whimper. The guy in black took out two handcuffs and intertwined them, and then locked it onto each of there hands.
I sighed, “Thanks.”
The guy turned around, and I saw who it was.“Anytime.”
“Night…”
He walked up to me, leaned against me and looked down into my eyes. I thought he was going to kiss me but he looked away. “I want to show you something.”

Oh man...trying to steal Raven's communicator as a parting gift? That was a good one...lol

I hope Electra and...er...Night...would soon rescue Crimson from Steele, I really do!

Then Steele's plans. Why would he be needing Crimson's help? He was going for Crimson and Crimson only when he fought with her and Electra. Then he designed a room specifically only for Crimson. I wonder...

Post next one ASAP!:D

Faith
Without actions is a mask, for making the same mistakes
As I'm slipping as I'm falling through the cracks.
Somehow I find beauty in our failings,
Somehow I find meaning in these lies
Somehow I'm made perfect in this fracture
Your back is begging sweetly for my knives

Chapter 7
Saturday June 24th 2006
Night 8:39 PM
I led her out of the alley and to my motorcycle. No not the R cycle, my new one that had been sitting in storage forever. It was an actual motorcycle, black and normal looking. Nothing like Robins.
I handed her the helmet and she put it on. I got on and she did right behind me. Revving up the engine I looked back at her, she nodded her head and we took off into the street. I wove in between cars and past Titan’s tower. I felt her grip tighten on my waist. I did a right turn and then continued up a steep hill. Here there weren’t many cars traveling this road because it didn’t really lead to anything. I stopped the bike and got off, she got off too. She took the helmet off and set it on the seat.
We were at the edge of Jump City, it was the highest point and you could see the whole city from here. I made my way over to the peak and sat down. She just stood there.
“Are you okay?” She asked quietly.
“Yeah I’m fine, I just need to explain to you…a lot.” She sat close next to me and I stared intently at her. “Jacob and I left Gotham in the hope of getting something more out of life, we wanted to somehow change the world. Dumb dreams but that’s what we wanted. I became Robin, and he…well he just left. I offered him a place at the tower but he said he would be fine and left me. That’s when I started the Teen Titans.” I paused, then studied her reaction. Her facial emotions didn’t change, that was a good thing. “After a year or more, Terra came to the tower. I wanted to tell her it was me. I really did, but I guess I was unsure of what to do, so I called Jake. He told me not to say anything, to just let everything unfold. Alana her powers were unpredictable. You know that…”
“So you let her die?”
“No. I tried. I pretended as if I had just noticed that she was struggling with control. I said that now that she was a titan we could help her get better control of her powers. Little did I know that she had confided to Beast Boy about this and assumed that he broke his promise to her and told me. So she ran away, and that’s when it went bad.”
There was a long pause, and I felt my heart rate increasing. I didn’t really know what to expect from Alana, she was also unpredictable.
She still continued to just stare at me, I decided to try and put it into perspective for her.
“As Robin I have power over this, I’m at the top” I pointed out to Jump City, “As Night I’m no one. Night may have made the mistake with Terra but Robin didn’t, he didn’t know her. Do you understand?”
She looked out into the city, her eyes appeared distant. “I missed you so much.”
That took me by surprise. I felt my heart sink. For a moment I didn’t know what to say.
“I’m sorry.” I cupped her chin with my hand and turned her face towards me. “I missed you too, and you know that.” I moved my hand down and interlocked my fingers with hers. She wasn’t angry, which was a good thing. She actually smiled at me.
“Are you sure?”
“Alana I’m as sure as I’ll ever be.”
My thoughts drifted to Starfire, her red hair, her smile, her green eyes. But Starfire didn’t know the real me, and I had a feeling that after I told her she wouldn’t like Night as much as she liked Robin. We never got anywhere with me and Star’s relationship, it was always vague signs. We were so different, but we were also alike.
“You’re thinking about Starfire.” She said glumly.
I stared into Alana’s blue eyes. “I’m thinking about how I remembered you’re really ticklish.”
“You wouldn’t” She glared at me.
“Oh…I would.” I grinned and then started to tickle her. She laughed, and I couldn’t help but laugh too.
“Okay…Night….Stop…” She choked her words in between fits of laughter. I stopped and stared at her, she stared at me and then she jumped on to me, locking her arms around my neck.
“I’m so glad your back.” She let me go and then added, “We have to find Crimson…and Jacob. Something’s wrong he wouldn’t have hurt Crimson, that’s just not like him.”
“I know where they are.”
“You do!?” Her jaw dropped and she rubbed her head. “I spent all day searching in maps and on the computer. It got me no where.”
“Crimson stole my communicator. So I had an easier time.”
“Figures…” She laughed, I smiled.
“I used the tracking device in it, and found its exact location. To be exact it’s about 17 miles that way…” I stuck my thumb out over my shoulder.
“Let’s go then!”
“We can’t. We need to have some sort of plan. It’ll take about 2 or 3 days but I think we can do it.”
“2 or 3 days? Are you joking? Lots of things could happen in 2 or 3 days Night.”
“Well, if we just go there, Jacob could have anything set up. He could have all kinds of defense systems. We’re going to go there before, but not in any offensive way. Just going to snoop around, see what’s there.” I sighed. “I’m not looking forward to this.”
“Me either, but we have to. How did Jake get those powers anyways?”
“He probably developed them, just like you, but I’m not sure exactly what he can do. It looks like telekinesis, but its different, its like he can bend the laws of gravity or air, I don’t know. It’s weird.”
“Great…that’s going to be fun.” She gazed up into the night sky. “I don’t know where I’m going to stay then.”
“I might just happen to have a secret getaway. That no one knows about, well except me.”
~
Raven 9:09 PM
“Friends! Robin has left us!”
I set down my cup of tea, I had a feeling something was up with the Boy Wonder. I felt him slowly changing into someone else. But the others saw that too, especially Starfire.
After he had given us those orders he buried himself in his room. It must be fun searching in newspapers for clues all night long. Cyborg had been on the computer all night as well, it seemed as if this Jacob Steele hardly existed, and I could see that Cyborg was getting tired of pulling up blank files. Beast Boy however, wasn’t doing anything but sitting at the table across from me with his head in his hands. Occasionally he would look up and complain about how Robin should be doing the work but other than that he was unusually quiet. I wasn’t complaining about that though.
“What are you talking about Starfire?” I asked. Beast Boy suddenly was more alert.
“I had gone to do the showing off of all the wonderful hideouts we have found. And to invite him on the search of the villain when I stumbled upon this!”
Starfire laid a small piece of paper on the kitchen table. Picking it up I squinted at Robin’s messy writing.
“Gone to Gotham, be back in 3 to 4 days.
- Robin”
Reading it out loud made Cyborg look up from his computer.
“What?! He’s got to be joking man.” He stood up and stomped over to the table.
“Dude! He gives us work and then just disappears? Aw man!”
“You mean he gives Starfire, Cyborg and I work.” I rolled my eyes, all Beast Boy did was shoot a clumsy smile at me.
“Yes, Robin has done the disappearing, he is not in the room of training, or the room of bed, or anywhere!”
“Well, we’ll just have to deal with it. It’s only 4 days at the most and knowing Robin he’ll probably finish earlier. I still can’t believe he left!” Cyborg commented.
I glanced over at Starfire. “I’m sure he’ll be fine.
Then I looked over at the three titans. Cyborg wasn’t happy with this news, he had just been given a job that was basically impossible to finish and I knew he didn’t want to do it. Beast Boy…well Beast Boy would just go on doing nothing. What he usually does. Starfire seemed distraught, upset, and confused all at once.
Our leader had gone missing, and in my mind I knew for sure he didn’t go to Gotham. In fact I don’t think he even left Jump City. To put it simply, I knew exactly where he was.
Steele 9:43 PM
“God! Shut up!”
I stood up from my computer chair quickly and knocked it over in the process. Crimson had been banging in her room all friggin day, and I was getting sick and tired of it. I slammed the door as I walked down the hallway, it was cold and that mainly was due to most of this place being built out of metal.
It was a run down police academy/training facility. Most of it was made out of metal, but it was a special type of metal. I found the door and at the side there was a piece of metal, engraved in it were the letters JP-C.
The code was simple and the door slide open quickly. I opened my mouth to tell her to shut up and ended up with a face full of the grey guck I had given her to eat. She had smacked the plate right center in my face.
“Does it taste good JERKFACE?!” She yelled. I felt her fist hit me straight in the torso and I fell a few feet ahead onto the steel floor.
“Use your stupid powers now.” I heard her footsteps fall right near by my head and then echo into the hallway. Quickly I wiped most of the guck off my face and onto the floor. Then flew after her, I was faster and I knew this place better. She had no chance.
I glimpsed the back of her head as she turned the corner into a room up ahead. My room. We both entered into the complete darkness. Up ahead I saw two red flaming fists. I flew fast at her knocking her to the ground. We struggled for a moment as my eyes slowly got used to the dark. She was thrown up against the side wall and floated there. She began to pull trying to break free from the invisible chains that held her. Her fists were still ignited.
She glared at me. “Put me down.”
I stood up and brushed my pants off, walked over and flipped the light on.
She was floating near my computer desk, and across from my bed. Smiling I strolled over to her.
“Don’t try that again.” I took out two wrist bands. “Now about this.” I motioned towards her fists.
The flames intensified and I felt the heat radiate off her. I shook my head, and the quickly snapped the two wristbands on her wrists, the flames died out immediately.
“My powers! How did you? Take them off!”
I grinned.
“You think that it so cool that you can control those crimson flames don’t you? Well look at this.” I slowly lifted the white bed off the floor.
“So what? You stupid powers have control over stupid gravity?” She questioned. I dropped her down and the bed, it would probably be safe enough as long as she had those bracelets on.
“No. No, no, no. You’ve got it all wrong.” I took a deep breathe as if I was reciting something I had said very often. “You see all around you there are air molecules, or water molecules or whatever. But the main point is there’s mostly air molecules. My stupid powers take the stupid air molecules and contort them to do whatever I please.”
I snapped my fingers and everything in the room began to float, even her. I watched as all the items fell back down on the floor.
“So if I did this.” I clapped my hands together and one of the desks behind me crumpled together in an instant, she turned around and looked at the mess. Then she looked at me, her eyes were filled with hate and pity.
“What the hell do you want Alana for?” I saw her teeth were clenched. “I’m not doing any of you’re dirty work, especially if it has to do with her! She’s coming to get me.”
“So you actually think she cares about you?”
She didn’t reply, just glared at me.
“Have a seat.” Two chairs floated over to us and she just stood there while I sat down. “Or not…Whatever. Just look.”
I took out a small lab top device, my hyped-up version of a communicator. I flipped open the screen and pressed a button, then held it up to eye level for her.
“Does this look like she cares…or is even trying to find you?”
The screen appeared to be a camera recording Night and Electra, at the point where she had been attacked by him in the form of tickling.
“Look at them.” I brimmed with cruelty; I knew she would fall for this. “The two love birds just like old times.”
I shut the communicator in her face and put it back into its corresponding pocket.
“So will you get her?”
“No.” I guess she didn’t fall for it. But I saw something snap in her, if I kept pressing on it might work.
I sighed. “Listen Jasmine. Alana has something. And I need it, but you see she doesn’t. So if you could do both of your bestest best friends a favor…and bring her to me.” I said the last part harshly.
“You’re not my best friend.”
There was an awkward silence, and I clenched my teeth. “I don’t want to have to force you.”
“Why?” She shot back. “Why can’t you get her yourself?”
“If I get her myself it will not be pretty.”
She stared at the floor, and then looked up. “Can we leave? After she gives you whatever it is you want?” She was beginning to give up.
“Yes.” I lied. But kept a straight face, I was getting good at lying. “I promise.”
Biting her lip, I could tell she was deciding. I just needed to give her a little push.
“Look, I had nothing to do with Terra,” Lie. “And I tried to tell Robin to tell Terra that he was Night, but he didn’t want to.” Lie. “And after Alana comes here, I’m giving up all this evilness,” LIE! Ahahaha what a lie that one was. “And hopefully after this is all over, we all could you know…. be friends again?” Holy crap Look at me I’m Liar McGee.
She looked my face over for any sign of lies and found nothing.
Letting out a deep breath she rubbed the side of her head. “Fine.”
“She won’t come without Ro…Night, so you’re going to have to use this.” He took out a small blue needle, it had a cap on and he tossed it over to her. She looked puzzled.
“I thought I was just going to bring her…normally.” She gazed at the tiny needle.
“I don’t want Night interfering…” I replied, then added “It will be much easier than you trying to convince her to come here by herself.” I let out a brief laugh. “By now she probably won’t let Night out of her sight.”
Every time I said his name I saw something change in her face, it was like something was clicking in her mind. I figured it out she was blaming it on him, Alana not coming to get her was Night’s fault.
“I’ll do it. Just keep you’re promise Jake.”

Chapter 8
Sunday June 26th 20064:08 PM
Crimson/Jasmine
These empty halls were filled with silence. A soft silence, the kind that makes it easier to think.
And thinking was what needed to be done.
To tell you the truth, I had no clue what I was doing. What I was doing here…or with this so called plan.
But Alana wasn’t doing anything either. She was chatting up with her old boyfriend…and she looked like she didn’t care at all.
Damn that Night. Give me 10 minutes with him, and I’ll give him something to remember me by. He was trying to distract her and convince her to join his stupid team.
On the other hand, his team was nice though, they helped her when she fainted. And I’m sure if we stayed there they would have welcomed us with open arms. It would be fun working with them too.
“Crap.”
I hated being indecisive. I hated big decisions. I hated choosing between two obvious solutions. It was too complicated. I raised up the small needle and stared at the blue liquid. Was it worth it?
Then my gaze moved down to my wrists, the thin metal band wrapped around my wrist was cold, and weightless. I tried to use my powers. Nothing happened. I could feel the heat move towards my hands but when it reached the metal bands it died out, I couldn’t feel it any more. Then there was a faint beep.
I raised an eyebrow.
What were these things…?
They looked really high tech. I pulled at one of them, and felt it rise in temperature. I mean really rise, to the point of burning my fingers. And trust me, I don’t get burned.
Ugh, Jacob was going to have to remove them.
But I didn’t want to confront him anymore, about anything. Did he really think I would betray Alana that easily?
Either he was really dumb…or he had some other back up plan. If he let me out of this place to go get her…I just wouldn’t come back. It was that simple.
Actually…it wasn’t that simple. I couldn’t help but see him as the guy I had known before. The easy going, kind, caring and all around fun guy. We were good friends…Alana always joked that it was more then friendship but it wasn’t. Unlike her…I didn’t want to ruin my friendship with him.
It was complicated.
About the time that he left he had asked me out. And I kindly told him no, that we should just be friends…and it would be weird to be something other than that. Once again…I was smarter then Alana, I chose not to mess things up with Jacob. I knew it would somehow turn out like this.
I wasn’t saying I didn’t like him…I just….oh never mind.
Slowly and carefully I retraced my steps back to “his” room. Opening the door I saw the room was empty.
Maybe he has some sort of tool in his computer desk.
Walking over to the desk, I realized just how plain this room was. Boring and plain. Ugh…I was really seeing how much he really had change.
The desk drawer slid out quietly. Rummaging through its containments I didn’t find anything that would work as a key or tool to get these bracelets off.
“Gah!”
I hit the drawer in frustration and it slammed back into the desk, making a rather loud noise. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. It wouldn’t be too good if he found me snooping around, but then…it kind of would…cause he would be able to take these bracelets off.
I swung my head back, half expecting him to be right behind me, but he wasn’t. Then I saw a peculiar light illuminate from the computer screen. Turning back I saw the computer screen brightly lit. It must have had one of those power saver screen things. I raised an eyebrow, then leaned over and squinted at the screen, I didn’t bring my glasses…well they were with Alana.
She had all the things I needed, absolutely everything. I mean everything: my clothes, glasses, underwear, hair brush, tooth paste, toothbrush, and underwear. Did I say underwear? I needed some clean underwear. I needed clean everything. I probably smelled like a hobo.
Anyways…right now it wasn’t important what I smelled like. What was important was that I found out what was going on with Jacob, and with this thing with Alana.
A folder was opened up, and one window was mainly open. It was some type of suit that directly connected to who ever was wearing, specifically their nervous system. There was head gear, a chest plate and arm and leg pads. I recognized it from the newspaper photos and online articles that I had read.
But…Why did Jacob have this?
Slowly I scrolled down to the bottom of the blue prints and that’s when I saw the two names, the two creators of what had let Slade control Terra.
Alana Pearson & Jacob Steele
I couldn’t believe it.
“We can visit Terra, she deserves at least a visit now…after that happened.”
She was the one who brought it up….
“Why would someone even create a suit like that?”
But she was so convincing…
“Of course I haven’t heard from Jacob…I would have told you wouldn’t I?”
It was all lies…
“I was on a trip for three days. I didn’t think you would notice…I mean it was only three days…”
I felt myself glaring at the screen, and then I felt my stomach sink. How could she?
But then again I needed more evidence before I could jump to conclusions; I needed to prove this wasn’t true.
Or was.
“No. It’s not true.” I said angrily.
I opened the Chat Logs. It’s actually quite funny how many people don’t realize that there online conversations are being recorded. Quite funny.
I found Alana’s email and clicked it. The box opened to fit the entire screen. I clicked on the most recent date which was almost a year ago.
The conversation went like this:
[07:51:59 PM] Alana- Is it almost done?
[07:52:36 PM] Jacob- No theres still lots to do. I cant do it alone remember? So…are you coming?
[08:01:12 PM] Alana- Uh…Yeah…Ill…be there.
[08:02:30 PM] Jacob- Good make sure you bring the equipment.
[08:04:24 PM] Alana- Yeah…got it.
[08:05:53 PM] Jacob- This suit is top secret Alana. Dont tell anyone…or have you already?
[08:06:04 PM] Alana- No…
[08:06:46 PM] Jacob- Not even Jasmine?
[08:07:16 PM] Alana- Not even Jasmine…
[08:08:24 PM] Jacob- Good
Quickly I clicked the red X, if I had read more…I would be more angry than I was right now. IT was all lies. She had lied to me…her best friend.
Slamming my fist on the desk, I heard something behind me. I swerved around in the wheelie chair and met Jacob’s gaze peering down at me.
“What are you doing?” He said evilly.
My eyes widened, “I…”
“You shouldn’t snoop around Jasmine….all it will do is get you in trouble.”
My eyes narrowed. “You had something to do with what happened to Terra”
“I did not.”
Clenching my teeth I muttered, “Don’t lie to me.”I stood up.
“I saw the files, the blue prints. You made the suit!”
“You’re imagining things…though you should talk to your best friend she might have some answers about that suit…or did she lie to you too?”
My fist shot out and connected with his jaw. I didn’t realize and felt just how much power I put into the punch but he fell back onto the cold floor. He massaged his cheek. Slowly he raised a hand and I felt a wall of air hit me like a ton of bricks. When I say air you might think of like fluffy air…no this air was hard as rock.
I felt the wind rush by me and then heard a loud smack as my back hit the wall. The pain shot up my spine and straight into my head. It began to throb continuously as I fell with a short smack onto the floor. Very slowly I tried to stand up. With each limb movement came another pain. I had hurt my back badly. In my effort to stand up, I kneeled on one knee and used my hands to push myself up. I was half way there…but Jacob could be already on his way over for another of his attacks. I stood up on wobbly legs then I held my ground for 5 seconds before I collapsed back onto the floor. I groaned. I had no energy at all. Maybe it was the lack of food….or sleep. But I could hardly move.
He stood up and shot a worried look over at me, then he ran over. I searched his face and saw the real Jake, my old friend.
“Are…you…okay?”He knelt down and put his hands on my shoulders, searching me for any major injuries
“Get off of me!” I pushed him hard away from me and shot him a glare. He stared back at me with no emotion. I shook my head at him, “What’s wrong with you!”
“You punched me in the face! It was my reflexes. ”
I rubbed my forehead, “That’s not what I’m talking about Jacob.”
“Jas. Are you alright?” He moved back towards me.
“I just broke my back…but I’ll be just fine.” I rolled my eyes at him. I stood up, my legs wobbled again but this time they didn’t buckle. He watched me stand up.“Seriously…who are you really?”
He raised an eyebrow. “I’m Jacob…”
“You don’t act like it 90% of the time.” I snapped back.
“I’m sorry.” He replied moving towards me.
“Don’t say things you don’t mean.” I turned around; I was going to go back to my pseudo room…to contemplate things. Getting a whole bunch of information like this was really hurting my head. I took one step forward and felt his hand grip my arm.
“I mean it alright?” He turned me to face him. His medium length brown hair wasn’t covering his left eye anymore and I saw his kind green eyes. The left one had a scar that ran right under his eyebrow. “Listen to me Jas. I didn’t make that suit.”
“I saw the blueprints; your name was at the bottom.” I said coldly.
“That doesn’t mean anything. Alana’s name was on it too. She was the one who actually made that suit. She did it for a thousand bucks. She was working for Slade.”
My eyes widened. “Slade?”
“Don’t tell me you didn’t see it…”
He let go of my arm, then crossed his arms. He didn’t seem like he was lying. But Alana….working for Slade? That was crazy.
“A girl with that type of power could create anything for him. Or if you want to get technical she can create power. A special power that can really, really help when creating those kind of suits.”
“Your name was on the blue prints.” I scanned his black and orange clothes. “And just look at what you’re wearing. I’m not stupid Jacob, you had something to do with this.”
“I know…I was forced.” He looked away. “If I could I would go back in time and
stop her and Slade.”
I let out a short breath. “Tell me why you want Alana then.”
“Why?” He replied.
“Because I want to know what I’m getting her for.”
He smiled at me, but it wasn’t kind at all, I could see him slowly going back to Steele. It was like he had two sides….an evil side and a light side. And with a flip of a switch he could be either.
“She stole something from me, which I had to pay for…” He ran a finger over the scar on his eye, “And I got this cause of it.”
I shook my head, “So it’s revenge…then I’m not helping you.”
“No. I just need it back…that’s all. There’s no revenge. Slade’s dead…so as far as I’m concerned I already had my revenge. I just want that microchip back.” He said coldly.
So it was a microchip that Alana had. That’s another thing she was hiding from me. But Jacob was hiding something from me too. I could feel it.
He took one of my hands, and stared into my eyes. Then I heard a click and then the clang of the metal band hitting the floor. He picked my other hand and this time he didn’t look at me while he did it, he looked down at my hand. And oddly he seemed miserable. The other metal band fell to the floor just as noisily as the first. He massaged my wrists and my hands, I felt the warmth return to them. Then he kicked the wrist bands into the corner, and moved his gaze up to meet mine.
“I don’t want to fight you. Alright?” The spot where I had punched him was beginning to turn a deep purple, seeing it gave me a twang of remorse that I didn’t want to feel. He let go of my hands, and I turned away from his gaze.
“I’ll go get some ice or something for your back.” He promptly jogged out of the room. This gave me a little time to think.
So why didn’t he just take Alana instead of me? It would’ve made things much easier, for both of us. But I knew the answer to that. Alana wouldn’t come that easily, she would have put up a fight. That wasn’t the only reason either. Something else told me that Jacob wanted me to be here.
He wanted me here with him.

Cyborg
“What a wreck.”
My voice echoed through the empty garage. It was only me and this beaten up Honda Civic in the Titan’s Tower’s basement garage. Checking the watch built into my arm I saw that it was already 11:30 at night. Another day was gone without Robin and it seemed, without any bad guys. The city was peaceful for once…but the tower wasn’t. Ever since Robin left the Titans have been edgy, Starfire and Beast Boy are the worst. Beast Boy tries to make an argument out of everything, and Star’s just oddly tense. It’s not that difficult to guess why either, she’s worried about Robin.
But right now I’m not too keen on the Boy Wonder. Let’s just say that this Honda didn’t hold just junk. I had found a box in the back seat, which wasn’t touched just yet, and then there was the wallet. That…was weird. I mean you think you know someone….and then you just find out all these new things about them like certain friendships.
The wallet held no money. Just random receipts, papers and photos, the photos and papers were what interested me in the first place. The paper was the ownership papers of this here Honda, the one with the smashed in rear end. The one that Robin’s friends Alana and Jasmine were driving. The owners name was printed out at the top, last name then first name.
Wayne, Bruce.
She had stolen a car. Not only had she stolen a car, but she had stolen it from Bruce Wayne. What an idiot.
I had guessed that much about this car anyways, so I moved on to the photos. There was a strip of them, like the ones you can get taken in the photo booth. Put in the money, take 4 pictures and then a strip of usually funny photos come out. There were four people in these photos, two girls and two guys. In most of the pictures the girls were either laughing or making a stupid face, while the two boys were serious or laughing. But the one thing the caught my eye was one of the guys. He had brown spiky hair, and I knew who he was. He was Jacob Steele. I knew who the other guy was too, I didn’t see it at first but at a second glance I knew who he was. I recognized his smile and his facial features…but everything else was different, his clothing, hair and he wasn’t wearing his mask, instead most of his hair fell in his eyes, and there was a slight reflection from what looked like sunglasses. But it was Robin alright. There were more photos of these four people and then there were pictures of just Robin with a girl with brown hair. Which I had guessed with no effort was the “Alana” or “Electra” who was here yesterday, and it just made it easier to guess who the other person was. It was that weird chick. I think her name was Crimson…no her real name is Jasmine. Yeah I remember Robin saying that.
From my first impression…which was rather short, I got the feeling that she didn’t really care to be around Robin, and that she didn’t want Electra alone with him either. I don’t think she liked the titans either, well not totally. After we helped her friend she kind of loosened up a bit. She was better after that. Maybe it was seeing her old friend Robin again…I don’t really know but it was a really awkward experience for all of us.
Too awkward, that it made Robin go back to Gotham. I wonder what kind of past that kid actually had.
Anyways…I knew now that Robin had sort of some relationship with this Jacob Steele kid. And the things in that box that I had found in the backseat of the Honda just proved my point more so. It held old birdarangs, a red cell phone, a photo album and an old notebook.
The birdarangs were old, and they were black with the letter N engraved largely on one of the wings. The cell phone needed a password if I really wanted to I could hack into it, but that would take some time and I needed to recharge soon. Cause last night, I stayed up late searching for files on Jacob Steele. A phony that’s what it was, Robin already knew who Jacob was, he just wanted me to be busy. I’ll have a couple words for him when he gets home from wherever he actually went. I lifted the photo album out from under the notebook. There were finger prints on the cover; as if Robin had touched it recently after it had been collecting dust for god knows how long.
“What are you doing still up?” It was Raven; she raised an eyebrow at the items on the metal table.
“You won’t believe what I found out about Robin, Rae.”
She moved closer, her hood was up and I could see her face, “Actually I probably would.”
“He knows that new villain, Jacob Steele. In fact they were friends.”
I opened the photo album and sure enough there was a picture of the 4 people again, this time in the picture
Jacob was standing next to Jasmine with a ball under one of his feet; Jasmine had an arm around his shoulder and was pointing one finger straight at the camera. Robin was stretched out in the grass grinning and Alana was sitting crossed legged next to him smiling too. Robin…still looked totally different, his hair was longer fell right under his ears, and he was wearing a black sweater instead of his red and green uniform.
“I knew it.” Raven shook her head. “Stop researching Jacob Steele and just relax. This whole thing that Robin gave us before he left was all a lie.”
“I guessed that much…” I motioned to the things on the table. “But why?”
“I’m not so sure about that Cyborg. But I know it was a fake job…so we would be busy while he went off do finish his business. Whatever that may be.”
“You know where he is don’t you Rae?” I smiled; Raven was always ahead of the game.
Raven turned on her heel, facing the way she came from. “Let’s just say…I have a pretty good idea.”
I laughed, Raven did know.
“I’m going to bed. Goodnight.” She leisurely walked towards the stairs and stopped at the foot of them.
“Night Rae.” I turned my gaze back to the photo album, I wasn’t done searching through Robin’s old stuff just yet.
“And Cyborg?” Raven stopped at the stairs to shoot one look back over to me. I turned my head back over to her.
“Yeah?” I replied.
“Don’t de-activate Beast Boy’s communicator just yet.”

Hi, you want criticism? Here ya go.

I'll start w/ the bad and end with the good.

1. You need to put your writing in separate paragraphs. It helps represent coherent thoughts.
2. You need to tag your dialogue. Sometimes I can't tell who's speaking.
3. Where is the whole Batman/Robin relationship here? Robin just went from his friends straight to Titans, and he forgot about Bruce.
4. You way overplay Starfire's strangeness? Everything is of something or the something of something else.

Now the good.
1. Wonderful plot.
2. Great characters.
3. Thinking, not stupid characters.
4. Playing iwth poeple's brains.

Have fun, and I'll be back.

Seperate paragraphs. What do you mean by that? I understand and everything but what exactly do you mean? Like...am I putting too many thoughts seperate? Or what?
And...
Tagging dialogue...I shall work on that! And that...*points to seperate paragraph thing* once i understand completely :P

Oh the Batman/Robin relationship will be explained next chapter....but I did mention it awhile back i think in chapter....5? It wasnt explained as fully as it is going to be explained but...it was briefly mentioned.

I will work on Starfire's personality more...shes not exactly one of my best characters to write.

But Thanks alot TeenTitansGO I really appriciated getting some critism. It means alot!

You've been nice to enough to read and review my works, so I thought I'd finally return the favour. As much as I'd like to give this story the attention it deserves, I don't have a great deal of time, so I'm afraid I'll have to give you the shortened version of my thoughts. To whit:

1. I agree with Matt H on the "seperate paragraphs" thing. Having them be so short is okay, but there still needs to be a line between each one. I know the brower can weird out, but make sure you click the "Preview Post" button once you've copied & pasted to sort out the spacing. It just makes the story a little easier to read, and feel more professional.
2. Use more commas: at the moment, the story reads way too quickly, and it gives off vibes of someone who doesn't have a clue how to write. Which is a shame, 'cause you can write, and write very well. My only advice here is to run a sentence through your head before you write it, and put in a comma wherever you naturally pause. For example, the line "another day was gone without Robin and it seemed, without any bad guys" is better off reading "another day was gone without Robin and, it seemed, without any bad guys": the difference is small, but it makes the line flow so much better.
3. On a more positive note, this is perhaps the only Titans fic I've ever read where I haven't been irritated by the author mucking about with continuity. Re-writing a major character's past usually makes the OC involved even more obviously the writer's desire to be a part of the DC-verse, thus completey pissing on the reader's suspension-of-disbelief. However, doing this here actually produces an interesting effect: putting some skeletons in Robin's closet, and giving his one-man crusade against criminality a very dark edge.
4. Electra, Crimson and Steele are some cool characters. They've got powers that are unique without being absurd, and are powerful without being Mary Sue-ish: you'd be amazed how many fanfic writers can't strike that balance. Even more importantly, they also strike that very realisitic balance between good and evil, doing dishonourable things for honourable reasons and visa versa. They look out for themselves and do things they want to, but this doesn't make them demons. Especially in the case of Steelek, but just as much as the other two, you've also achieved that Holy Grail of characterisation, creating people both iconic and well-rounded.
5. I like the theme you've set up here: not so much "you can't go home again" as "should you go home again?". At the moment, the plot is still too enigmatic to be discussed, but you've already set up a very interesting series of double-crosses, hidden agendas and emerging secrets. This, it must be said, is the kind of dark plotting I like.

So, a few presentation niggles aside, you've created a great story here. I'm looking forward to seeing where else you go with this.;):anime:

Yeah this browser can be a pain in the arse sometimes...Ill work on the spacing between paragraphs, because I like to feel professional.:p

Commas away!!! I had a feeling that it was reading too quickly...I just didnt quite know how to slow it down a bit. And I will definetly use your advice. Cause you're an awesome writer. And you saying that I could write was lets just say crazzzzzzy(x 4) because on the Forum Food Chain....You're at the top and I'm pretty low.:p But still I appreciated that alot...especially coming from you. That is fantastic.

3. That was the plan! There's lots more you'll learn about Robin's past in the next chapter, and I wont forget to include Batman. I mean how could I?
4. Thanks. I was going for the whole normal and the extraordinary aspects of Electra, Crimson and Steele.
5. Double-crosses, hidden agendas and emerging secrets are what I like best. And theres more to come ;)

Anyways... Thanks Matt A. Thanks a bazillion times 34872843! (I mean that....you count it.:p ) And thanks again to TeenTitansGO! Im really really glad that you guys have given me some criticism so that way I can make my fanfiction that much better. You guys rock.

Great Story:D! I hope you decide to finish it. I like the cliffhanger you left the last chapter, where Raven knows where Robin/Night might be. I'm guessing Batcave, but who knows.
