Back in the earlier part of the 2000's, my friend and I used to talk about how awesome an Ed, Edd n Eddy movie would be, but at the time it seemed so unrealistic. But now in 2006, with Ed, Edd n Eddy hitting an amazing level of popularity, it almost seems viable. I really think Ed, Edd n Eddy has been a revolutionary cartoon, not only that it is the longest running original Cartoon Cartoon thus far, but because it helped bring that "random" humor element to the cartoon world in a unique way. I really think an EEE movie would be great, and would do really well in the box office.

What do you guys think about it?

It would do worse than the Powerpuff movie did.

Sorry. It would.

BCVM22 is right.

I think a TV movie would be better.

Yeah, in all honesty, it would.

A TV movie sounds more logical.

i will also agree with everyone else on this matter

ed, edd n' eddy is a great show, but still, it would not do too well in a movie theater, it would fail worse than the ppg movie(and it holds #10 on biggest theater drops on the third week, an astounding 1,182 theaters, meaning it was really bad) and cn is not willing to take that risk again, since it did end up losing about 10 million off the whole thing

and especially with a lot of shows getting tv movies(gym partner, camp lazlo, billy and mandy, and they're already advertising operation z.e.r.o. for kids next door) if anything, eee would get a tv movie

Toon Overload is correct.
And it would be crap, it's about 3 kids trying to get money from other kids in the neighbourhood to buy jawbreakers, how do you fill that into a full lenghth movie?

How about 3 kids trying to get money from other kids in the neighbourhood to buy jawbreakers AND have to stop an alien invasion?

Hey, worked for Jimmy Neutron :p

you can do that pretty easily, throw in a couple new characters and another plot line

i just dont think they would do it because cn thinks they probally will lose some money on it(but this could change depending on the athf movie), and frankly there are other shows that get better ratings that cn would rather make into a movie before ed, edd n' eddy

Samurai Jack would have been a kickass movie, and Dexter too.

Dexter too.I'm sorry, but whaaaaaaaat? How could Dexter's Laboratory possibly have made a good movie? I love the show to bits, don't get me wrong, but I cannot see how that would've ever made a good flick. EEnE as a movie is easier to fathom.

My Gym Partnr is getting a TV movie? Now that's interesting, seeing as how that show has low ratings and all. I'd love an Ed, Edd n Eddy TV movie at least I love that show.

Gym Partner's dull, annoying, and uninteresting. No wonder it's ratings are falling.

Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy were better with the older episodes. The newer ones aren't terrible, but I'd prefer it to not take place at their school.

Old Dexter could've made an AWESOME movie (Ego Trip and the original series finale shows this).

New Dexter ruined it by making Mandark pure evil. In a movie, he could've teamed up with Dexter, but this new version made it seem like he was PURE EVIL. (Ok, Mandark was pure evil in Ego Trip, but that at least looked cool.)

Where does it say (http://www.turnerinfo.com/newsitem.aspx?P=CARTOON&CID01=1b67d6cb-44a5-4889-8ff3-b8edff845ccb) anything about a sixty-minute Gym Parnter program?

Ed,Edd,and Eddy sucks as a cartoon anyway. A movie would be a disaster.

Absolutly NOTHING, my good sir.

However, it says there WILL be a 60-minute movie here:

I'm a fan of EEnE, but I don't think there's a big enough fan base just like the Powerpuff Girls or Spongebob to satsify with a movie. However, I do like the option of a tv-movie and while I'm on the topic, I would enjoy it even more if Danny could add a spin by making it a musical. Sure, musical specials all the rage these days and it will bound to work. I would really enjoy to see Ed's own song being sung in the movie.:p

Bahaha a musical, now that would be crazy. Well they did have Rolf sing in one episode
I wonder how Double D and Ed would do LOL. Sorry that's a bit off topic, I personally would at least love a TV movie like I said before :D
