Well as much as I love watching Keeper of the Reaper I WISH Cartoonnetwork wouldent make a stupid fred fred burger pop up after almost every show that comes on.Its ruins the fred burger jokes and now the whole I LIKE MUSIC THAT GOES LIKE THIS LALALALLALA sounds very stupid now:sweat: anyone agree?

I get what you're saying, but I'd still take Fred over Cheese any day.

Agreed. I first saw one of the Cheese ads on WB, and my thoughts were: "If this were my first exposure to Foster's, I'd never watch the show".

I agree.
Fred Fredburger and Cheese are insanely annoying.
Even the Cartoon Network slogan is "Cartoon Network. YES!"
I'll give them credit though, the I LIKE MUSIC, I LIKE MUSIC THAT GOES LIKE THIS remix is genius.

Fred Fred Burger and Cheese are both silly attemps at creating memes, much like the whole of Aqua Teen hunger force.

The remix that sometimes appears was quite good, if they only used that instead of Fred Fred burger's "I like music that goes like this LALALLALLALAL" and having him say "YES" at every ad, then I'd be happy... Then again I don't really like any of the summer ads much...

Well, we're going to have to get used to them for a while, because this is apparently CN's new slogan. You may see them while watching selected films at movie theatres.

The bumpers are very lazy and a real downfall compared to the bumpers of the CC's interacting with each other in different enviorments.

Definetly, They're really poor compared to the Summer 2005 ones.

I sense we're going to start seeing Fred and Cheese on t-shirts at Hot Topic.

Cheese was only funny when he was on his own episode, I think they should use fred alot more, and maybe put him in more episodes of The Grim Adventure of Billy and Mandy, like as a cameo. That would be like so cool you know. They need to get rid of cheese, he can maybe be a cameo in a few episodes, but they should use Barry more, yeah they need to use her a bit more like as a cameo or show up on a giant rubber band ball, that would be soooooo sweet!:D

If this goes on, Someday, Fred Fredburger would get his own TV Show. :p

How can anyone not like the Cheese ad?! I crack up everytime I hear the "Television tastes funny" line.:D

I love Cheese to death. I mean, just looking at him makes me laugh! His lines aren't funny, but the way Candi Milo performs them is just a riot.

I find that Fred, on the other hand, is your average cliche annoying character. Plus, his voice just grates on my nerves. It's been done, boys.

If Fred Fredburger was on Billy and Mandy more I'd not watch the network other than Adult Swim and Squirrel Boy, whenever it launches. We have enough of him already (AKA every 7 minutes or so from 6 AM to 10 PM).

Who really created the Fred Fredburger hype? Did fans really like the "Keeper of the Reaper" ep that much that CN decided it was a smart move to keep Fred on our TV screens. Or is Fred being pushed as a possible Billy & Mandy spin-off?

Yes.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.... though I was actually being serious.

I wouldn't be surprised if the crew at CN liked Fred and Cheese enough to create these commercials.

Probably made it so people watched it more, cause people liked cheese and fred fred burger. They probably had some sort of vote and everyone voted for cheese and Fred. Immature Cartoon Network workers.

I don't like either one. I have no interest in characters whose only purpose is to be obnoxious and annoy people.

I don't get how the "I like music!" thing is supposed to be funny...

I like Cheese, though.

I was afraid of this the day he was first shown: Fred Fredburger has become Billy and Mandy's answer to the Greased-Up Deaf Guy. And he's taking Cheese hostage and forcing him to be his side-kick!

Let's hope that Cartoon Network's little slogans don't suddenly make Fred Fredburger and Cheese suddenly start reappearing in their corresponding shows as regulars.

I'm more annoyed at the Cheese ads than the Fred Fredburger ads. Because there's a Superman marathon on Boomerang and every commercial breaks those stupid ads with Cheese are shown.

Sorry if I'm ignorant, but is Fred Fredburger that Flintstone-lookalike?

If so, I'm surprised nobody here is happy a *gasp* classic cartoon is showing up on many bumps...

Dunno about them being regulars, but both characters are scheduled to have at least another episode centered around them - one with every Foster's friend getting locked outside the house and Cheese being the one who knows the password to get back in, and the other with Fred winning a contest where he gets to spend a day with Grim.

The Foster's episode, "The Big Cheese" is on the episode guide of the CartoonNetwork.com Foster's page (it's also confirmed in the Foster's production blog). The Billy & Mandy episode was confirmed by Carl Greenblatt (B&M writer/storyboarder who wrote Keeper Of The Reaper and voiced Fred) on his blog.

Fred Fredburger is basically a watered down version of Brak. He's not nearly as funny.
