Over 200 music videos on YouTube, an all new season being picked up where Pokemon was dropped. Is there something I`m missing here?
I`ve always enjoyed the show, but I haven`t been able to catch the episodes post Evil Omi, whats happened in the storyline, is Rai the new leader now?
From my take people have really warmed up to this show in the last few months.

But, yeah, it seems the fanbase for this show is getting bigger and bigger, especially since it's started running on CN. And it deserves it, too. I haven't seen any of the latest season, yet, but everything up to then is great - very well written jokes and great characters. And I originally hated the show at first.

Well, Pokemon was dropped because of what EP said, but since Xiaolin Showdown will be the oldest show on the block come this fall, that points at that there is a HUGE fanbase, they're just not the type who draw much attention to themselves (unlike Naruto fanatics). Trust me, when you see ENTIRE sites based on pairings of characters (I've seen JackxKimiko, RaixKimiko, WuyaxChase, and some rather unpleasent parings), you know it's a popular show.
And, WOW, 200?!? I saw about 10 on the listings about a month ago, but 200?!?

(Spoilers since CN's airings have just gotten half way through season 2)
Well, even though I haven't seen enough of season 3, I've gathered that the bad guy that made Chase Young evil was freed from his prison in the Yin Yang world (by Jack Spicer), and tried to turn Raimundo evil (and I mean PURE EVIL). After a blind swordsman, Dojo's tricky salesman of a cousin, and a lot of traveling between alternate dimensions, Raimundo was made leader.

Yep. Before CN aired XS, I thought the show was fun, watched it on KWB weekdays, but couldn't really follow it too much. After CN aired it, I've loved it ever since. Same goes for a lot of people.
Oh, and before you watch season 3, I should tell you that it jumps up to Teen Titans level of serious (some jokes, at least one entirely funny episode, but the two part finale is very dark and serious Raimundo, Kimiko, and Clay are killed offscreen in front of Omi an alternate dimension! ).

219 to be exact, of course thats a long way from Power Rangers 3161, but good effort none the less.
This fanbase has gotten huge and it`s only going to get bigger with a returning season. I saw the last ep and it was super fantastico man.
I knew this show had potential and to finally see it being realized makes me very happy and excited

It's interesting that not only is Xiaolin Showdown a success on Kids WB/CW (it survived the very rare past 52 ep rule that I belive only Jackie Chan Adventures has surprassed in recent years. And anime like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh don't count because they're only acquistions and not actal WBA made shows) but also Cartoon Network as well. Think about it: They gave it one initatl slot which quickly grow to two which quickly grew to stopping premieres on weekdays and shuffling the premieres to Fridays (wheres XS seem to be the only regular premieres this summer) and now has weekly marathon like all the other big named CN shows (Foster's, Billy and Mandy, Ed Edd n Eddy etc). Something I haven't CN do for a non CN Studios show in awhile. So I would say that Xialoin Showdown is pretty big. Of course we'll see if it can continue it's popularity on CN in the summer and if it will continue being popular on CW.

Like most, I passed this up at first as another lame action show, but I found myself watching the season 1 4-part finale and extrmely impressed.
What shocked me most is that Wuya KEPT HER PROMISE to Rai when she got her power back. I don`t think that has EVER happened in the history of animation.

Here's another thing that points at how popular it is:
It currently has 1123 stories written about it on a certain fan-fiction site (don't know if I can say the name of it here)
(In case you're wondering, the US shows that pass in in fan-made stories on that site are Kids Next Door, Danny Phantom, Gargoyles, Hey Arnold, Invader Zim, Ninja Turtles, Teen Titans, and Beast Wars.)

Wha??? Rai isn't the leader that I've noticed. I haven't seen many of the current season but I'm fairly sure Omi is back. I have noticed an improvement in the animation.

Boy, did YOU miss a great two-part season finale...
Rai IS the Xiaolin leader according to the final scene of Time After Time (part two).
