International CN gone loco?

Corniel and Bernie, Garfield and Friends, and Jackie Chan Adventures are about the only things I can pick off that list that I enjoy! XDD ROTFLMAO wow! The thing that baffles me is how are they able to show Corniel and Bernie and Life with Derek? XD Corniel and Bernie's a Nicktoon....and Life with Derek is a Disney show! XD......INTRESTING!

Though Corneil & Bernie is on the Nicktoons Network, it's technically not a "Nicktoon" per-say. It was produced/created in France. It was on Cartoon Network Latin America for a while. I did mention somewhere that Boomerang Latin America (or I call it BoomLA) had radically changed its image a few months ago. Think it's bad in the US, in Latin America, it looks more like Disney Channel.

Yeah seriously, I thought it was bad how ours was breaking away from classics, the international one has become an all-girls channel with small bits of classics. They play Harry and the Hendersons lol, and the Boomerang movie was Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures! :D I'd probably watch them knowing me, but on a channel like that, uh....

Might I pray Cartoon Network or Boomerang never get this bad in the states... but to be honest, with the current direction of Cartoon Network, by the end of they year it wouldn't shock me if it became "Children's Network."

The rest of the world has pretty much dropped the classic cartoons format of Boomerang. The one in Europe is still cartoons, but it's a general popular kids' cartoons channel.

Their logo is terrible too. In Europe Boomerang isn't like that at all. In UK it's the worst, they show T & J, Scooby Doo and baby shows with a few classics only after 9 pm(Top Cat, Flintstones). In France & Spain it's better, they show classics during the day with some new shows(Duck Dogers,Baby Looney Tunes). But the best Boomerang that really airs what it's suposed to is Boomerang Poland(central Europe). This is their weekdays schedule:

The UK Boomerang is messed up, we get some baby shows like Firehouse Tales and Pororo (SP?) The Penguin, and some popular CN shows like Camp Lazlo and Foster's Home showing during the day, The only classics left is Scooby Doo, Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, with some classics like Flintstones, Top Cat etc showing at a dead timeslot.
At least we have CN too, which shows some classic HB shows.

UK's Toonami used to show actual action cartoons, now it's showing sit-coms like Life With Derek and Hangin' With Mr. Cooper WTF??
They've also been showing shows like Backyard Science too, they still show some action shows though.

I hope they don't make a dog's breakfast of Adult Swim, although it is airing on Bravo, so CN can't mess with it.

I don't watch CN anymore :(. I've totally had it with their crap... The last straw being their new voice presenter and I swear they went out of their way to find the most dislikable and annoying drunkard they could find. The guy is unfunny, says the same thing over and over, doesn't know anything about the shows (gets names wrong) and has the most HORRIBLE accent in all of the UK (apologies to all who share that accent but it's just plain repulsive... Sorry)!

The voice itself isn't necessarily annoying, but the accent is. It sounded so fake. Sorry to hear about your new announcer. I'm still trying to get used to the new announcer we have in the US.
