Hey, I didnt want to run into any spoilers by doing a google search or something, so could anyone simply tell me how many episodes of Eureka 7/Seven there are all together? Thanks

There are 50 episodes. Apparently there will also be a 51st episode released exclusively on DVD.

There was also a clipshow at the halfway point called ray=OUT, but it was considered a special rather than part of the series.

Wow. That's a lot. I heard it was more than the usual 26, though. Is there any word out on if AS is showing them in like "two seasons" as they did with FMA? Or do we not know yet? Sorry if this has been asked before

I don't think we know yet. E7 was licensed before or shortly after it began airing in Japan. So I believe there's no need for them to do two seasons as they should be done dubbing it by now.

FMA aired in the US BEFORE the series was finished in Japan, so there is a possibility for E7 to air in two seasons.

It didn't.

FMA ended in Japan on 10/2/04. It began over here on 11/6/04.

The fact that the Adult Swim.com epiosde list only goes up to 28 kind of signals to me they will air this in a two season break (probably will stop once Bleach starts in the fall). To those who have seen E7: is 28 a good episode to stop the series on for awhile or is there a better place to stop around ep 28?

Is ANY place a good place to stop though? I was under the impression that FMA's "second season" numbers never matched the first season's.

Fine, it aired a little over a month after it finished in Japan. My point still stands.

That was more because of Saturday dropping off as a whole. And it's not like Eureka is getting stellar ratings right now.

Do we even know that though? I mean, they might discontinue ordering new eps. Look at Case Closed or Lupin. Eureka is doing poorly as far as ratings.

it took last week, so it's doing just as well as any other saturday show, besides it has more buzz than something generic like Case Closed.

A couple of weeks of decent ratings isn't a success. Let's wait and see if the ratings hold first.

Indeed. Also, 28 a good place to stop? Eh, without spoiling I'll have to say it's a decent place to stop. 29 or 30 would be better, but meh. Can't have everything.

Actually, question. 28 is the last episode AS has slated for us, yes? Or is it 27? Im not to sure on that one.

The issue with FMA was that the dub was not very far ahead of what was being shown on T.V.. As I said before I don't think that's the case here because of how quickly E7 got licensed. Then again maybe putting it on weekdays would make it more popular and give us higher ratings for the second season.
