I think there's a sign that says "Everyone under 60 must be this ugly to enter Jefferton."

Ep's about the same as last week's.

Bob Odenkirk made this episode hilarious.

It's like "Bass Talk: The TV Show (http://www.bobandtom.com/basstalk/index.htm)". :D

And 5/5 just for slipping Disco Ernie into the show. ;)

The Fix is Go (http://www.adultswim.com/adultswimfix/index.jsp).

Tom using "Crickets" and "Philip Suza" as curses are well worth the price of admission.

Ya know, technically Joy died this episode...

"The Darn." "Wiiiiiiiiizzz!" Those lines and The Mayor and Tom's feud all cracked me up.

6:00 PM?! I think someone made a typo... Seriously though, when did this happen? I switched over before 1:00 PM but well after 10:00, and it was Cartoon Fridays. Is everyone magically getting this block but me? :crying:

EDIT: Aw snappers, it's an internet show...isn't it? ._.;

Bingo. Streaming video.

Also, something tells me Joy would survive that flood thanks to the density of her weight keeping her afloat. At least that's what Brainiac showed.

What really surprises me..

So far no one's mentioned that this is an episode where everyone BUT Tom gets screwed in the end. Though admittedly, Tom's not in fantastic shape either.

I thought it was an okay ep - the news team freaking out when there's nothing on the teleprompter was the bit I liked most. :)

By God, you're right! Drowning may not be quite as painful a death as she deserved, but at least she suffered a little. This is reason to celebrate!

You know, I thought Tom saying "Darn" instead of "Dam" was actually pretty funny, even if it was a bit juvenile.

Wow. Best episode of TGTTM ever. I mean, it wasn't good but I nearly laughed one or two times. The only truly bad part was the whole "darn" thing. The rest was actually somewhat enjoyable. And of course Joy. I hated the news team as usual although I found Wayne yelling at the camera man mildly amusing. Easily the best part was the end with the town underwater and the Mayor slowly sinking underwater talking to Tom. That and when Tom told them the bass lines were breaking the dam and the Mayor yelled at Tom that he was pretty sure it was Tom that was breaking the dam.

great episode! :anime: all of Jefferton got destroyed this time but Tom seemed like he came out a winner  is it me or did his boys look more ugly then usual? Joy was WAY scary with her yelling but it was pretty funny! liked the twist with Mayor and Tom fueding instead of pals like usual to

This whole episode seemed like a parody of how the U.S. dealt with the Katrina disaster. You know, denial of the possibility, followed by doing things short-sighted, willful and stupid that guaranteed disaster, followed by the disaster itself, followed by a response of utter helplessness. The folks at Dept. of Homeland Security/FEMA should see it. (^_*)

So I suppose Jefferton is like Kenny. No matter how many bad things happen to it, it'll always be ready for next week.

If Tom had any sense, he's sail on over to another city and start over, sans Joy. Alas, he's a doormat.:p

Well first off you really shouldn't compare a city to a character. I mean you could say South Park is like Jefferton (the town rebuilds no matter what major diaster comes it's way) but it's more along the lines of other William Streets show where characters and places can be destroyed and will just be brought back next week due to lack of continuity.

There were a couple of good moments here. Tom going out of his way to say darn instead of dam (it's juvilnnile but that's part of Tom's character too so that was still a nice touch), the bass fest (mainly for Tom beatboxing it back) and uh.... that's pretty much it actually. Still sam sucky Tom gets tortured moments, still same stupid Joy character (glad she drowned though), still too much life action moments and still not really feeling this show. Oh well at least it was better then last week.

The Married News Team part was my favorite part of the episode, but then again they are my favorite characters in the show.

Did anyone else read the fine print in the Bass Fest ad? Reminds me of a gas station attendant trying to give you directions.

WIIIIIZZ! :anime: I liked it... Felt bad for Tom since the Mayor was suddenly against him and his ideas but I guess that'll change by the next episode. I've begun to wonder, are the new reporters played by Tim and Eric? I don't know who Tim and Eric are but if they're the creators of the show I wouldn't be surprised if they poked at themselves in such a way :p

Well first off you really shouldn't compare a city to a character.

I always thought Jefferton was more of a town.

Yeah, Tim and Eric play the married news team. Tim is Jan and Eric is Wayne. Eric is also The Mayor and Tim is Tom.

I swear, Bob Odenkirk had to have personally written this episode himself because Tim and Eric just aren't good enough to have written this episode. This is easily the best thing to ever come out of TGTTM.
