Request for missing dialogue from Neon Genesis Evangelion

Okay, so while I was gone, I recorded the entire Neon Genesis Evangelion series on my TiVo. I'm in the process of watching the series now but I ran into a problem with episode 17, Fourth Children. The audio cuts out completely during the scene where they are showing a still overhead shot of a giant crater. I suspect the audio loss is the local cable company's fault since this isn't the first time that this has happened. The audio returns directly afterwards in the scene with Shinji and Rei going down the escalator.

From what I can piece together, a branch of NIRV was destroyed(?). Can anyone reply with a transcript of what was said during this scene? Or at least the basics of what was said?

This is my first time watching this series so please, no spoilers beyond this episode. I haven't finished watching the rest of the series yet.

The NERV-02 branch in Nevada was in the process of installing a recovered S^2 organ into Eva Unit-04. There was a malfunction or sabotage that caused the facility to vanish. Ritusko mentioned it was similar to the Durac Sea that swallowed Unit-01 in episode 16.

wasn't it in Germany? or am I getting 2 separate incidents mixed up?

There is a NERV branch in Germany, but it wasn't associated with Unit 4
