While I'm waiting for the movie to be released in English, I thought we'd share some of our fave FMA moments. I'll get the ball rollin'.
1) The series started out in a very foretelling way (it would give a good idea as to what adventures would await the Elric brothers), with Edward Elric trying to bring down Father Cornello, and eventually losing the trust of Rose Thomas (although she comes back later).......
2) I was quite angered and saddened at the way Shou Tucker used her daughter Nina and their pet dog Alexander as guinea pigs for a transmutation experiment..... why did you do that, huh?
3) The showdown between Roy and Ed in episode 13 was quite a hoot to watch. Maes Hughes' introduction of the battle, and her parading of his daughter Elysia makes me smile whenever I see it....... gotta love a guy who loves his kid soo much....... :)
4) The fight between Ed and Al/Scar showed what trouble the Ishbalans had gone through vs. the State Alchemists, and no one showed more grudge than Scar ever did....... but Ed is all smiles because he's still alive.....
5) There was no sadder moment in the series than when Hughes took a bullet....... it was quite the saddest death I had ever witnessed in an anime, ever. I need not say more about that.
6) Just about everything in ep 37 is a laugh-a-minute. It's amazing to see what the show is like with Ed and Al away.
7) All I need to say about my last moment is this: Ed dying, and eventually coming back..... in another universe.
