In "Those Women Longed For Touch Of Other's...", why does Kaji repeatedly mention that Misato is wearing high heels? Was it something in the original Japanese script that didn't make it to the dub or what? I mean, it just doesn't seem significant to me but Kaji seems to really take note of it.

I think it may mean that she's dressing up maybe to attract a guy. I think you know what I mean?

Maybe Kaji has a foot fetish.

That's the first thing that came to my mind actually but I thought I must be missing something. Then again, foot fetishes are commonplace in the orient.

Remember the original ads for the Sailor Moon dolls had the high heels replaced with boots because they thought high heels made Sailor Mars look like a hooker? Anybody?
Maybe Kaji is saying Misato looks like a prostitute.
My guess is that high heels usually mean "high class" or "formal," and Misato is, usually, neither.

I'll agree with this. And didn't Kaji also mention that Misato never wore high heels when they dated in college? He seemed to be reflecting on how Misato had changed in the years they were apart.
