Are the episodes out of order like the list that showed up a few months ago?

It's finally here. At this moment, it's #8 on Amazon.com.

And Amazon has Turner distributing this title. Brings back memories before the merger.

I don't think I've ever laughed at a DVD special feature the way I laughed at 'The Making of The Venture Brothers Live Action movie' feature. It's absolutely brilliant.

I hated this show in the months leading up to it's premiere now it's one of my top five favorite non anime shows.

No, they are in the correct chronological order, with Return to Spider Skull Island after The Trial of the Monarch. Everything except for the pilot, which is an extra on disc 2.

Let it be known that for one fleeting moment, the Venture Bros DVD Set was at #1 on Amazon.

It's at #3 right now. That's still good. I mean, it gets the treasure chest.

This was already sold out at my local Suncoast yesterday, hopefully it is doing well at other places too. Strong DVD sales may help increase the chances for a third season.

I never did exactly get the deal with what was up with the Past Tense, legality issues. Was that ever resolved?
The Lesliebots were erased from the censored version of the episode weren't they? I think I saw the end of that once.

Which version is on the DVD?

The Lesliebots were never erased. The entire episode was just cut from reruns not so much for the Lesliebots designs, but for this particular line of dialogue:

"Notice anything interesting about them."
"Yes, I had that issue of Heavy Metal, too."

If they were to censor it, they would've cut that one piece dialogue. Either way, the episode is shown uncensored on the set.

I'd like to point out that this set is worth purchasing just for the bonus features which include.

-The creators dressing as specific characters and doing mock interviews.
-A mocumentary on the animation process involving stop-motion and a picture of a manakin's head next to a bowling ball trophy on top of a bucket for obvious reasons.

I got this a few days ago, and I'm slowly making my way through it (damn you, Table Tennis!). The commentary for Mid-Life Chrysalis was bizzare and funny at the same time. The unexpected accident at the end would've been the highlight if it weren't for the discussion early on about who on the show would they sleep with. Of course, the comment one of them made (I forgot who said it) about one of the male characters on the show was hilarious.

Needless to say...absolutely brilliant.

I totally forgot about this. I got lucky and a Best Buy I was scouting in hopes of an early release of another DVD, and they were re-stocking. I'll have to watch it later, it sounds like fun. the internal art is amazingly awesome!
