Adult Swim,

Many moons ago, you played the anime series Yu Yu Hakusho about troubled teen Yusuke Urameshi who comes back from the dead and becomes a Sprit Detective. You only showed up until the finale of the Four Saints Beasts saga, then you went into pointless reruns. About 3 years ago you expanded to weekdays and shortly after, you moved Yu Yu to Toonami where it was butchered mercilessly into a Y-7 show. What's worse is that Cartoon Network failed to restore the theme songs until last year.

The American YuYu fanbase forgives you for your stupidity but we'd request that you put it in the line-up NOW. It just finished it's long American television run and you let CN just dump it like that when you yourself are struggling to get shows that have plot and action *cough*eurekaseven*cough*

I request that you do a complete 112 episode restart of Yu Yu Hakusho and acquired the Rurouni Kenshin series uncut to get rid of your silly, plot-driven "mature" anime.

LOL at "American YuYu Fanbase forgives you", as if there is some kind of under the radar alliance with a hidden agenda.

But on the real, I doubt you'll ever see these two on network television again. I agree they should have never moved Yu Yu Hakusho from Adult Swim, but the arguement has long since past the point of relevence. Despite the lack of anime ammunition this year, we gotta move foward. Besides, Bleach is coming and it won't make the same mistake I don't think.

If you liked YYH, you'll almost certainly like bleach. The premise and the Main charachter are both similar, but the main arcs are very different.

Actually, the current Bleach story arc reminds me a LOT of the Chapter Black arc in YuYu.

Main characters come back from the demon world and face a threat closer to home with a group of people led by a guy who decided to simply stop playing by the rules.

Heck, in both series the main characters were tested by "enemies" who later turned out to be allies. The test was meant to remind the main characters that brute force (power) isn't always appropriate.

Yeah, I had heard about Studio Pierrot biting Togashi's concept. Never really got around to see the filler for myself. Guess they liked working on it. But, hey, does that mean the filler is actually good?

I hope this means we don't get lame battles with the main villains and a crappy speech from the main villain before he dies that attempts to make up for the zero personality the villain has had throughout the show by attempting to make the villain's seem sympathetic. I always hated that about Yu Yu Hakusho. "Hey, I may have killed hundreds of people, but I had a troubled childhood. You're a member of the human race, so you're obviously even more evil than me cause humans caused me to become traumatized. You're the real villains not me. I just like killing people." Okay, so the speeches in Yu Yu Hakusho weren't exactly like that. In Yu Yu Hakusho the villain's speeches were a lot more retarded.
