In other words, Gohda needs to get his slow and painful death :evil: It ain't slow, but it's definitely painful. Another interesting subplot is finally coming to the head, and that is in between the Major and Kuze. I can't wait to see how it's resolved. Americans scaring people with their nukes. Go figure.

Everything's coming to light, the Major's siding with Kuze, maybe getting in too deep for Batou to feel comfortable with. Togusa gets enough action to prove it's still worth being human in this time and age. Will Gohda get away with destroying Dejima? And do the masses really internalize stuff they understand instantly? (By the way, funny that's said in a series that can get boggled down with technical jargon and the like.)

8 out of 10 for "This Side of Justice." Can't wait for next week's finale!

The side story with the Major and Kuze is great in this episode.

Don't expect a big fight with bullets and explosions for the last 2 eps. or you'll set yourself up for disappointment like me.:shrug:

Yay for Togusa! He showed those guards who's the man! Could have been a little more....well...maybe he could have fought more? It's like they're invincible :D Works for me!

I think a Stand Alone Complex introspective on the events of 9/11 would be interesting. However, I'd rather they fictionalize it in order to avoid more unnecessary hatred towards Arabs. Maybe have some new cyber terrorists hack the minds of some passengers and make them crash the planes into some towers on a fictional island in Japan and a government building in Tokyo. As for Flight 93, that will have landed in the ocean or something.

Seriously, this would be interesting. I'm not trying to say that capitalizing on the pain and suffering of others should be done, but I'd like to see a GitS take one these events.

While I don't think 2nd Gig is a great series (and no, it's not because "there's a lot of talking and minimal action"), I don't think these final episodes would be as dramatic and intense if it weren't for all the buildup in the episodes following them. Man, they really left you wanting more when this episode ended.

I thought he was the first bio-android created. So I don't think Proto can be repaired.

Comments about this episode. Damn, I am not sure what those refuges were thinking. Kuse tried to draw away that attack heli, but then they fired on the thing... Watching them being sprayed by a bullets and then seeing the blood just pour down a hole in the floor. Friggin sweet.

During that scene with the Major and Kuse alone drove me nuts. It seemed they kept dance around the real question the Major wanted to ask.

When Batou and both Sections emerged from that building into that street filled with people just waiting for the end gave me a dreadful feeling. They are just going to wait for the end to come? Damn k.

Lastly... the meddling American Empire and their nuke sub. American Empire! That sounds incredibly cool. I could get use to hearing that. :D Now just cue the Stormtrooper music, fire up a rebellion and we are all set.

Cool, finally I know why Batou's and Boma's eyes are different. I just love Batou figuring out what's happening and he's not going to let Motoko go without him this time. I was expecting Kuze to cut her leg off. She wouldn't feel it and can get an upgrade.

Great thermoptic action with firing into the water pipes to see them coming.

But comeon, who's gonna buy a 50 megaton detenation from a backpack nuke. And what about the other five MIRV's :sad:

The first time he showed up was in the Tachicoma episode, when they had to get maintenance done. Between then and now (the last few episodes) I don't think he was in it at all heh. Remember how they were looking for new members? I think he's one of the new members. I like him a lot I think he's cute :sweat:

Wow the last few episodes have been really great. It's been pretty much the same as last season for me, I lost intrest for a while but now it's coming together and it's very exciting! I want to go back and watch all the episodes I wasn't really paying attention to before now.

Oh yeah and when the major and Kuze fell I liked how Kuze grabbed the major and fell first. I thought it was... sweet? nice? cute? I don't know what I thought it was but I liked it :p
