Do you guys think Sony will release the Uncut version of Ultraviolet with the theatrical version, or 4 months later? The reason I ask is becuase I want to watch the real 2 hour version since the 80 minute version was a terrible movie.

It's Sony. They'll release a barebones DVD, then announce a special edition two weeks later.

I'm very sure Sony will. I damn well know though Sony is gonna do it to Underworld: Evolution. The version of that coming out June 6th is practically a bare bones version with one disc. I'm pretty sure like the first movie, a slightly longer uncut version will available shortly later on.
EDIT: Well how about that. Sony is releasing not only the theatrical version on June 27th, but they are releasing an uncut extended version on the same day. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FGGE68/qid=1148109906/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-6703370-6799855?s=dvd&v=glance&n=130
I can't tell you how much longer the extended cut it is over the theatrical version because Amazon.com is only listing the 87 minute run time for the theatrical version.
Hope that helps.

The "Uncut Extended Edition" is 7 minutes longer. -_-
Sorry Sony, I'll pass until I get the 2 hour version.
Oh, and I found out Kurt Wimmer refuses to do commentary for it because he disowned the movie after Sony forced him to cut it down from 122 minutes to 85 minutes.

I had no idea they cut so much footage from that movie. When I saw it, I thought it was one of the worst movies I'd ever seen. Maybe that explains why...
