Hi, there. This is my first Teen Titan fan fic, so don't expect anything professional. I don't know the Teen Titans so well, so anything I say that is incorrect, please message me, and I will edit it. This is one I have given a great deal of thought. If it makes you angry... good, because it should! ;) Lots of love! Please feel free to comment!

24 hours.
Have you ever been given a time limit on something you don't want to end? It hurts, doesn't it? To be told you can't hold onto something forever, and that within a short time period, it would no longer be your possession.
Life is no different. Every man wants to keep his treasures, whether it be life, a woman, or simple tormented ways. Slade was not to keep any of that.
Being told he has only a day to live was a harder blow than that any of his enemies had given him. Broughten to attention, Slade couldn't honestly picture a moment of his life he would recall as a wondrous act. All had been foiled, credited by the Teen Titans.
That Boy Wonder! The image of Robin caused him to clench his fist in loathe and frustration. He could not leave the earth knowing he had not crushed the leader's heart. But what destructing machine could he possibly create in such short time? No, if he was to attack, it would have to be something sneaky... and personal. Very personal.
The criminal sighed, and rubbed his middle finger and thumb against his forehead. He recalled the week before, when he had brought his robot army to attack.
(Slade's Point of View)
At first, there was 100. Then 95. 87. 61. 49. The titans were good fighters, any fool could tell. But his robots were also champions.
As Beast Boy trampled one soldier with his big elephant foot, another shot him in the belly with a poisoned bullet. If not for Raven's healing powers, he would have been dead.
Starfire eye's' shot lasers in every direction, her aim perfect every time. However, some robots were stronger than others. Some could block the beams, and were able to reflect it back onto the alien girl. She swirled through the air, a regular swan performing her magical dance. She continued to shoot and dodge, as ten fighters distracted her.
Cyborg was having a more difficult time. Though strong, he wasn't quicker then Slade's workers. They had him pinned down, and one prepared to shoot him. But did they get him-unfortunately no. The green animorph pounced onto the aiming robot, using his leopard teeth to dig within his flesh. The split second gave Cyborg the chance to break free, in which he and his blue partner took down the men.
And naturally, it was me and Boy Wonder once more.
"I'm disappointed in you. You claim to be so impressive, yet you are taking considerably long to defeat my army." I was lying, though I wanted to psych out my enemy.
"Don't worry. We'll still win." He took his fighting stance.
"All talk, and no muscles."
"Argh!" Robin flew at me. He tried striking me, but I simply used my left arm as a shield. I punched him with my right hand, but he turned in time for me to catch only air. His leg sailed and landed on my left template. I groaned in pain as I fell to he ground, but I was not giving up so easily. I kicked him towards the sky with my feet pointed up. Airborne for a minute, he recovered so quickly.
We continued for minutes, though it seemed like hours. We each got our share of blows, until I knocked him... hard... against his ribs. He squeaked, and blood spurt from his mouth.
"Robin!" Beast Boy cried as he tried to get past the two robots blocking him. But the held their barrier, and started sparring with him.
"Azarath, Metrion, Zin..." Raven's bubble broke as Slade hurled a large rock at her. She was strangely unprepared, and fell to the ground with a thud.
"Raven!" Beast Boy had a small glint in his eye, I noticed. That of a small heartbreak.
But the robed girl stood up, and attacked with double force. I was too taken aback, and fell victim to her force.
The fight ended... With my side, again, losing. Curses upon the team. They were all too connected, insync with one another. Like the green boy and blue girl. Every time Raven was hurt, I spotted a true sign on concern in Beast Boy's eyes. I eventually concluded he had a crush on her.......
Slade sat up. A crush. He smiled wickedly, the thought played a wicked role as he wrote the plot in his mind. Robin never had a girlfriend... But he does seem to be very interested in the Flying Girl. She's cute, witty, and polite: exactly his type...
Slade suddenly had an awful idea. Not one of his usual ones. A truly wicked, cruel, and terrible thought. It would destroy Boy Wonder... and it could be done in 24 hours. Slade laughed wickedly. He would leave the earth, yes, but not without taking Robin's heart with him!
