Let's make some random guesses about the plot, shall we?

-The monkey is either: A. Super intelligent or B. GAINS super intilligence and the ability to speak

-Plenty of Gross Monkey Jokes

-Two unfunny, bumbling idiot thugs for comic relief, which they somehow think we need.

Yeah, looks like your typical monkey movie. With spies.

That reminds me of those "Most Valuble Primate" direct-to-video movies (however I could've sworn that the first one was in theaters.... Huh.)

I'll bet the popularity of those 'Trunk Monkey' ads is responsible for this!

You know I liked this... when it was called "Lancelot Link".

Also Snakes on a Plane will be very hard to top in terms of "Were they thinking?".

Huh? The Trunk Monkey is in more than one state?

Here, a local auto dealer has been running those ads. I thought they were locally PRODUCED....

Wasn't Most Valuble Primate a spin-off of the Air Bud movies?

And hey, it could be stupider. It could be a deadly video game with rapping chimps, snakes, and iPods on a plane, played by Larry the Cable Guy and Paris Hilton as Jesus.

Actually, A stupid idea can lend itself to a good movie if the execution is good. The problem with movies like this (and a good 60-70% of Hollywood-made movies) is that their execution is abysmal. I don't see how this is going to be an exception,

I dunno about the rest of you, but I'm sick and tired of spy anything. It's been done to death.

I would be unsure whether to cry when it came out or applaud the movie studios for succeeding on making the most terrifying abomination known to man.

"Git er done!"
(hiss)
"Turn the other cheek, baby!"

A sequel?!? Alert the presses!

But really. I thought the Chimp Movie craze died in the nineties. Space Chief has a good point. Is any premise safe?

I don't know about worse movie idea ever.

I heard of a movie wich basically copied scenes from other really famous movies and tried to make them funny.

I think it came out this weekend, now what was it called....
