I'm sure this has happened to you: Flipping thru the channels, stumble across a movie you've seen countless times (uncut, without commercials even) but yet you absolutely must stop and watch it until it's over.

Blues Brothers: To this day, I've never seen the entire thing from beginning to end. But dammit, if I don't get absorbed inot Jake and Elwood's mission from God!

Fifth Element: This one suffers alot from removing certain elements for TV broadcast (usually revolving around Ruby Rhod's raunchy radio show) but is still a damn fun movie to jsut sit and enjoy. I love the editing job in this movie, it's one of the few flicks I notice editing in a positive manner.

Changing Places: Quite frankly, one of my all time favorite movies.

Waterboy: A masterpeice among AdamSandler silliness. The only football I can tolerate :p

The South Park movie.
I've seen it almost every time it's been on (it's much better without commercials, and I've still watched every airing), even when I'm trying to avoid it.

Mainly stupid movies like Billy Madison and Tommy Boy.

Mallrats. My absolute favorite movie ever. I must watch it every time it's on USA or the like, in full, and quote every line in it, and note aloud all that was edited out; the same way I do every other time I watch it.

Also tend to find it difficult to turn the channel on:
-Halloweentown.
-Toy Story.
-House Arrest.
-Breakfast Club.
-Pretty In Pink.
-Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead.
-What About Bob?
-Pee-wee's Big Adventure.
-Anything with Chris Farley in it.
-Casablanca.

With the exception of Casablanca, all of the above are just very nostalgic and I adore them very much.

Die Hard with a Vengeance
Most any Star Trek movie (even though I have them on DVD)
Masters of the Universe (good thing nobody plays it anymore ;) )
X-Men, X2, or anything with Patrick Stewart in it
Any Mel Brooks film

When I had Starz they had Black Hawk Down on one of their channels that plays only four movies per week repeated over and over. That week, I probably watched BHD 20 times. Even now that I own the awesome 3-disc DVD, if it were played on a channel that I got (there are so very few) I'd be compelled to watch it.

Blues Brothers: To this day, I've never seen the entire thing from beginning to end.Be careful, that's illegal.

If it's got super heroes in it, it usually gets me. Any of the Batmans. I was watching some "Spider-Man" just last night. "10 Things I Hate About" You was on the other day. Austin Powers if I can tolerate the dialogue edits. Good times spent wasting time.

Reservoir Dogs is the big one, just so I can get angry at all the godawful edits. I'll probably sitthrough any thing with Adam Sandler or Jean Claude Van Damme either.

Anytime the Breakfeast Club is on TV, I have to watch it. I dont know why it captivates me that much, but I never pass up the chance to watch it. Really addictive movie

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Which isn't a big problem to catch because ABC Family plays it A LOT.

This happens to me with movies I JUST SAW ON DVD, even. I don't know why, but I just can't help but watch certain movies, even if they're watered down and have commercials.

Probably Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I'm also hard pressed to give up another random chance to watch Mortal Kombat. Also, strangely enough, I tend to watch the Super Mario Bros. and Double Dragon movies whenever they come on TV even though I know they probably aren't worth the time.

I can't pass up Bringing Up Baby. The dialog, the actors and Howard Hawks are white hot and in perfect tune. It blows me away. Any Mel Brooks filmYes.
I feel some are stronger then others, but definitely Young Frankenstein, High Anxiety, Blazing Saddles and The Producers.

And I should add the Marx Brothers and Abbott and Costello movies.

Rush Hour 1 or 2. Always cracks me up. Even the edited "Whassup, [negro]" scene cracks me up in its own way.

The The Matrix movies are always good too. You don't have to sit through the psychological stuff if you don't want to, you can just sit there doing homework or something and then look up when there's a big action scene (or a sloppy dialogue edit).

If Goodfellas is on TV, regardless of what point it is at, I will stop and watch it. It's not even my favorite movie ever (though I do love it so), but it has this bizarre infinite rewatch value.

Predator!

I've had Predator on Laserdisc since the early '90s, and I have it on DVD, but whenever I flip by it on TV, I wind up watching the rest of the movie from that point on. I don't know why.

I can seldom turn Goodfellas, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Young Frankenstein, The Blues Brothers, or, as this has happened a few times recently, any Miyazaki film (except for My Neighbor Totoro) down.

And as I discovered last night... Tron. Oh, was that ever a throwback.

Infinite yes.

Stop stealing my answers =[. You can never pass up an airing of Tron. Ever.

Also, there was this month where The Devils Advocate was on about 3 times every weekend. It's not even that good of a movie, but I watched it practically every time it's on. Speaking of Keanu, you can't pass up Speed on TV either.

Also Billy Madison even though I've come to really dislike the movie I feel compelled to watch it.

Half-BakedAah, yes! That's like a movie-staple in my family. No matter how many times we see it, it's still funny as heck.

I always get sucked in to The Shawshank Redemption...it's just got tons of rewatchability.

Half-Baked is also mandatory viewing, if for no other reason than Jon Stewart's cameo ("Have you ever watched The Daily Show...on WEED?")

I also have a hard time turning away from Kevin Smith movies because they're such train wrecks when it comes to the heavy editing. Seriously, Jay's edit VA gets more work than any other I've ever seen in an edited for TV movie.

I'll also stop for Wargames and Hackers.

Computer movies just have this "stop and watch" vibe to them. Plus, Hackers has young Angelina Jolie before anyone knew who the hell she was.

Well............some stations play flicks with no commercials...given that.
..l. It's a Wonderfull Life
2.Toy Story
3, Toy Story 2
4. Iron Giant
5. lots of others, too many to mention.

With commercials............not a chance...no movie is worth broken up, and the pace ruined, or edited to a point that it cannot be recognized.
