Greetings once again cats and kittens! It's new Fresh Question time! This one's pretty straight forward. So you know what THAT means: EYES ON YOUR OWN PAPER!
...is that gum!?! Anyway. In my book, if you're human you like music. And the longer you've lived, the more you listen to, some more loyally than others. And page 2 of said book says the broader the audiance that is reached, and the longer they can do so, the more meaningful the music/artist/etc. So of your music lists, I was wondering:
What song (or artist if you like) has had your listening loyalty for the past few years?? Why??
Is there a song that has been with you for like ever?
Bee Gees - Massachusetts, I grew up listening to a best of Bee Gee's cassette (pre-disco I guess). This would be that really close friend who I was secretly in love with and in one terrible night of drunken passion, maybe, possibly, put it on repeat for a few hours.
And The Fine Print - Strawberry Jam has been hangin' out with me for a good 3 or so years.

Akira Symphonic Suite--Both "Kaneda" and "Tetsuo" Ever since I got the CD, I used it to inspire myself while writing my twisted, surreal short stories.
Green Day--Anything on "American Idiot". My favorite rebellious album. The only song that's on the "meh" scale for me is "Give Me Novacaine".
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street-- I don't listen to this as much as I used to, but this CD kills me! Clever lyrics, a grim and wonderful plot and rolicking melodies. Everything I look for in music and more.
Man...I have weird taste...

Curve are, in my honest opinion, the single most amazing musical experiance on the planet. Every album they've ever made is listenable from start to finish, over and over again - Indeed, I spent a long car journey listening to one of their albums over and over again. It was only ten songs long, and I still never got bored. The high equality and ability to withstand repeat listenings is one thing - However the single most amazing, and unique, thing about Curve is that I can go months and months barely listening to them, then suddenly I get the urge and bang! I'm blown away all over again! As if I'm listening to them for the very first time all over again. It's these qualities that have ensured that, even in the face of many other passing obcessions (Queen, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Smiths - All excellent bands that I still love, though!), Curve remain my favourite band ever and will no doubt stay with me for years and years to come!
Apologies for gushing all over your nice clean forum. :p
