I know Dangle is gay and all but didn't he sleep with Weigel in one episode or am I just imagining that? I could've sworn it happened.

I think Wiegel mentioned it once, but you never saw it happened.

I don't think he did. In the episode where everyone thought she had tried killing herself so they all had to take turns watching her, he appeared really uncomfortable when she was flirting w/him.

It's always seemed to me like the Reno 911 writers regretted that Dangle makeout scene in episode one (or really early season one) and I don't blame them. Honestly, I always thought he was just a "man he's totally gay! but..." character until I got the DVDs.

That's what I always thought too until I saw the make-out thing. I think that's being kinda ignored in later seasons, maybe as a bi-curious "hey, I wonder what it would be like to make out with a guy" experiment thing, since there's been nothing saying he's gay for quite some time, and in fact, quite the opposite with his ex-wife showing up and then his son (Which I missed the ep so I don't know if it was really his son but it does call into question his homosexuality if there was even a possibility.). Lately, he's just been portrayed as being extremely flamboyant. It seems likely that, like you said, they regret it and are just pretending it never happened. I mean, this wouldn't be the first time a major character trait would be overlooked in various shows. Remember how Butters's mom tried to kill him and his dad was gay on South Park? That sure changed later on. Though I've gone into an extensive report on why this, to maintain South Park's usually very good continuity, might be a case of denial (Denial that any of it ever happened.) and repression (Of Stephen Stotch's homosexuality.) but that's off-topic.

Anyway, I've always thought of Dangle more as being bisexual. It would resolve the early make-out scene but also maintain his recent more heterosexual activities. Just my take on it.

But yeah, I guess Trudy just mentioned it. I could've sworn I remembered more than that though.

The kid wasn't his son. And he stated to the kid before that he had thought the person he had sex with (who would have been the kid's mother, if he was the father) was a drag queen and not an actual woman.

His ex-wife had left him because he was gay. And at the end of the episode he flirted with her new husband, who was also gay.

The only woman he ever showed real attraction to (in the terrorism two-parter) was actually a guy.

He's gay, not bicurious.
