AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM STING
Saturday night on “iMPACT!” the icon known as Sting has been granted in-ring interview time to make an announcement concerning Jeff Jarrett and the Lethal Lockdown match at the Pay-Per-View. This past week, Sting took the fight to Jarrett and his army – sending them running with the help of his friends on the TNA roster. What chaos will break out this week with Sting live in the ring and Jarrett and his crew watching on? Tune in Saturday to find out!

WILL TNA HEAR FROM CHRISTIAN CAGE AFTER THE RECENT EVENTS INVOLVING ABYSS AND JAMES MITCHELL?
This past week, the wrestling world witnessed the brutal attack by Abyss and James Mitchell on NWA World Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage at his home in Florida. TNA management has yet to hear from Cage following the attack and no one knows if he will show up to the arena this Saturday. What’s going on inside the mind of the World Champion after the attack we all witnessed? TNA management hopes to have an update this Saturday night on “iMPACT!”.

“THE PHENOMENAL” AJ STYLES vs. “THE MONSTER” ABYSS w/ James Mitchell
In a rematch of last year’s Lockdown main event, this Saturday night on “iMPACT!” AJ Styles will take on Abyss! When these two TNA stars have collided in the past their bouts have been nothing short of in-ring wars. Can “The Phenomenal One” survive the onslaught of TNA’s premiere destructive force? Tune in Saturday night to find out!

ARM WRESTLING CHALLENGE: KONNAN vs. “BULLET” BOB ARMSTRONG
James Gang family patriarch “Bullet” Bob Armstrong finally gets his chance to get his hands on Konnan this Saturday night, as the two will lock up in an arm wrestling match. Surely, both the James Gang and the rest of Konnan’s Latin American Exchange will be watching on. Who will win this test of strength? Watch this Saturday night!

TO DETERMINE THE FINAL MEMBER OF TEAM USA FOR THE WORLD X CUP – ALEX SHELLEY VS. RODERICK STRONG VS. CHASE STEVENS
In addition this Saturday night, there will be a three-way bout featuring the stars of TNA’s high-flying X Division as Alex Shelley, Roderick Strong and Chase Stevens will battle to determine who gets the fourth and final slot as a member of Team USA for the upcoming World X Cup. The winner of this bout joins the team along with Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal!

Plus, The Diamonds In The Rough vs. Shark Boy and Norman Smiley! All this and much more this Saturday night on “iMPACT!” as the road to the April 23rd TNA “Lockdown” Pay-Per-View continues! More matches will be announced the PPV – the only all-steel cage match event in professional wrestling!

Shelley wins with a Shiranui/SL#2, obvious choice to go over.

Impact was boring this week. Ive gotten more and more disenchanted with TNA.

Abyss versus AJ Styles was a good match, but I was a little disappointed that it opened the show. It seems like Christian Cage should be the focus of the show since he's the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, but I guess that's not how things work on Planet Jarrett.

Jeremy Borash looks ridiculous. I didn't like Team 3D's promo, but then I never like this kind of feud.

Nope, I still don't care about the James Gang's feud with the Latin American Exchange.

This week's Scott Steiner beat down was even better than last week's because it prevented a match between the Diamonds in the Rough and Shark Boy & Norman Smiley.

The X Division triple threat match was pretty good. Adding Alex Shelley, a heel, to Team USA was a pretty good decision. I just with they would have given this match some more importance by letting the three wrestlers cut promos or at least by having the other team members come out to watch the match.

So the whole show is built around what Sting has to say and... he doesn't announce who's on his team. Instead he challenges Jeff Jarrett to face him at the next iMPACT!, but we all know that's not going to happen.

I figured since AJ/Abyss was the opening match they were going to give it some time, but they just did it to further the Abyss/CC storyline. Wasn't a bad match while it lasted.

Don't care about 3D/Canada or LAX/JG. If a fraction of the internet hype surrounding Homicide is true, please get him away from Konnan and let us see what he can do.

Daniels/Lyger at Lockdown should be good assuming it gets more time than Joe/Lyger at BFG. Not quite the announcement it should have gotten however.

X-Division 3-way was good. I didn't know Strong and Aries were still around, so it was good to see at least one of them back. I love that Shelley won because his interactions with Sabin, Dutt, and Lethal are going to be priceless. Shelley and Joe were the highlight of last week's Impact. Didn't they say the team was complete after Sonjay got the third spot?

Sting may not have officially announced his team, but going off the last two weeks Rhino and Truth are shoe-ins, and depending on what AJ's doing he'll get the last spot. That match may not be as bad as I expect assuming Steiner gets limited time in it.

i've got a feeling raven will be the main surprise of team sting.

I think he'll be "the new guy" mentioned during one of Larry's bits. That Team 3D promo bugged the hell out of me. It's just the same xenophobic garbage they said against La Resistance, and it's even more annoying now. Abyss-Styles was okay, and Steiner ruled again. I hope Goldberg is the main guy on Sting's team. If he isn't, it'll be a big letdown.

Nice to see Abyss in the ring with someone capable of beating him again. It feels like it's been forever. Too bad he and A.J. didn't finish. Good to see Christian Cage finally back in the iMPACT! Zone, but first segment and not again is not where we should see the Champion.

And Brother Ray is a proud patriot again because it's suits 3D's purposes. Forgive me if I don't get inspired.

Bullet Bob really held his own in the arm wrestling contest. I expected someone else to come out after everyone that came out was told to leave.

So (Hotstuff) Hernandez from Jarrett's Elite Guard is back in TNA? You'd think they could have given a reference to that rather than saying "he's back." Took me a bit to remember who he was. LAX can't seem to keep members. Hernandez is the third man to hold the #3 spot.

Back to the arm wrestling, I said to myself that I was glad it was happening now rather than on the PPV, because it would be lame to have such a contest in a cage. I spoke too soon. :rolleyes2

I kinda wish I knew what Slick Johnson was talking about, but I'm not sure I care either.

I should have known that the Diamonds in the Rough wouldn't make it against Sharkboy and Norman Smiley. Thursday I'll be waiting for this "match" to see Steiner come out.

Alex Shelley should make Team USA a lot more interesting. He won't fit in with the other three and this could use some more interest. And I thought Sliced Bread No. 2 was a WWE-created name. Kendrick was the first I'd seen do it and I assumed the name was to fit his dorky persona. Guess not?

Maybe Sting can finally stop telling us he is back now and just be back. I believe Tenay was hyping him as wrestling next week. Let's hope it actually happens. As far as Spike TV goes, Sting has been one big tease so far.
