Neat, but this should have been put out before Jak X came out. I entered, and I'd love to win since enjoy the plots more than the games themselves.

This is awesome news, but I don't understand what is on the DVD? Is it just a collection of all the cutscenes, or is it an original movie?

It seems like it's just cutscenes to show you how the story unfolds.

Yeah, looks like the collection of the cutscenes from Jak and Daxter 1 - 3 and up until Jak X. But even, then, the site says it's 90 minutes worth of material. I'm interested~ Thanks for the link. I'll go to that jakxdvd site and enter the contest if it's not too late.

It's www.jakxdvd.com . It was in the first post, but not as a link. The contest ends on the 30th of April, so enter quickly if you want to win. Be sure to have five e-mail addys ready to go as well. The DVD's value is only $6, so I won't be too bummbed if I don't win. I would like to see all of the cutscenes in one place though.

Frankly, to me, I hope I never do see a Jak and Daxter anime. Perhaps it's because I'm so disillusioned over American based cartoons/games/products getting an anime make-over...or maybe it's cuz' I'm trying to avoid anime, but I just can't see the Jak series as an anime. It doesn't help that the games over there in the Land of the Rising Sun didn't do so well...

What really amazes me is Jak 3 did have a japanese version produced for it. (Or as far as I can tell. There's several Asian data files on the game that are not accessed.) Then again, maybe an anime would be a last ditch effort to revive the series in Japan? Who knows...

Actually, what really surprised me the most is that in Jak II, they had Korean dialogues. I just about had a heart attack. Seeing as we Koreans are so ignored compare to the Japanese and Chinese, I was so damn happy to hear Jak speak Korean...unfortunately latter Jak games didn't have one. Am much sadden.
