Talkback: Billy And Mandy, 3/20-3/23

There's 4 New Episodes of Billy And Mandy This Week, and sicne I didn't see a thread for a talkback about the new episodes (Monday to Thursday starting at 8PM, which means the first one starts in 10 minutes) I thought I should create one. Here's the Synopsises of the four episodes (to avoid any spoilers, they'll be covered up until they air)


3/20:
"The Wrongest Yard" - In order to become cool, Billy and Irwin join a football team so they won't be builled around anymore."
"Druid, Where's My Yard" - A Druid helps Billy get his Kite out of a tree."

3/21:
"Herbicidal Maniac" - Skarr finds out he has a green thumb."
"Chaos Theory" - Eris takes a holiday.

3/22:
"A Grim Day" - When Grim gets a day off, he spends the time dealing with huge lawn gnomes.
"Pandora's Lunch Box" - Billy and Mandy's curosity is piqued by a lunch box who has gotten lost.

3/23:
"Billy And Mandy Vs The Martians" - When Grim gets away from Billy and Mandy, he faces a zombie and the Martian Grim Reaper.

I haven't yet seen any of the new eps, but I really like the ad for them running on CN. Pretty cool.

Am I the only one freaked out by the end of "Pandora's Lunch Box"?

"Hey, this isn't Codenamed Kids Next Door! Just as memerizing though."

I think that's the first time a Cartoon Network show gave a shout out to another one. Not just a mention, not just a ripoff characterization, or even a parody, just a straight up shoutout. Weird to see really. But still pretty funny.

My Thoughts On the New Episodes:

"The Wrongest Yard" - I don't know why they didn't use Nergal Jr. to play football afterall he can change his form in a perfect athlete. But maybe they were trying to revolve the episode around Billy & Irwin.

"Druid, Where's My Yard" - I thought it was really funny that Grim's animal spirit was a penguin. And the Druid got arrested for chopping down the tree.

"Herbicidal Maniac" - This is a very funny episode. I like the cameos of Jeff the Spider, Nergal and Nergal Jr.(Even though they didn't speak or anything) I love the part when Skarr just went through the helicopter blades.

"Chaos Theory" - I didn't except to see Hoss and Eris still dating. I wonder if this will lead up to marriage...:p

"A Grim Day" - It was really funny that Mandy & Billy were mad that Grim would try to replaced them. And I think Skarr's is becoming a regular character since he made some recent appearances.

"Pandora's Lunch Box" - Mandy was sure scary when she stated that she'll destory humanity some day. It was really funny that Pandora's fate was part of the Greek God's pranks. Nice to see the appearance of Piff. :D

"Billy And Mandy Vs The Martians" - To be honest, I thought it was a little rushed. It could have been done better. Though Billy used a quote the Mandy onced told him before ripping his face off from "Get Out of My Hhead!" episode.
'You can pick your friends. And you can pick your nose. But you can't pick your friend's nose.'

Overall All of these episode get a B-

Hope more episodes are on the way. :)

Well, I wasn't because I didn't get to see the end. I missed everything after Mandy and the Dora clone started their montage. Can you spoil it for me, please?

Well Dora tricks mandy into opeing the box which causes chaos and destrction for humanity. But Mandy fixes everything and puts Dora in the box. And Grim asks why did she fix everything and Mandy replies that she wants to destroy humanity on her own and not by being tricked.

All four episodes will play in a marathon at 5:00, cancelling out Miguzi, Xiaolin Showdown, and Ed, Edd, & Eddy (the last one won't be missed).

(But the girl on Miguzi said yesterday that she'd be back tomorrow/today for more Miguzi goodness...)
