Thousands of years ago, when the Earth was still young, specific humans became Shaolin warriors. Then aliens threatened the world with a lawsuit for using the word shaolin. The humans decided to rename the art with an X because the letter X makes everything cool (Megaman X, Sonic X, Xaunat, Red X, ect.). Thus the word xiaolin was born. Then the first Xiaolin Showdown over the legendary Shen Gong Wu took place between Grand Master Dashi and the evil sorceress, Wuya. Grand Master Dashi won and imprisoned Wya in a Puzzle Box. Dojo, his faithful dragon, then hid all the Shen Gong Wu across the planet. The world was at peace, until a young, self-proclamed mastermind named Jack Spicer was given a Puzzle Box... Now it is up to four Xiaolin Dragons (in-training) to stop Wuya, Jack, and many others from using the Shen Gong Wu for evil. But by this week's end, one will betray them....

I like tonight's ep. Shows that although Omi is a little goofball, he's pretty intelligent and skilled in his craft, regardless of his arrogance at times.

Ah yes the start of the four parter (I never really thought of it that way though. It always seemed to be a 3 parter plus one but yeah it is a four parter). The only really sour thing about this episode is that due to lack of continuity in the series (a real problem as it goes on) the ending with Rai leaving the others and Wuya foreshadowing the next set of eps dosen't mesh as well as it should with the next one
Since Raimundo is still at the temple and what happens is kind of smoothed over at first
I don't know, it just never worked for me like it should of. Still dosen't really discredit this episode though (although thinking about it, shouldn't the monks at the temple have more then bows and arrows to protect themselves, espically from something like Mala Mala jong? Seems kind of silly to me).

In "Chameleon" Omi stated it gives you eyes on the back of your head ("I assume you get to keep the ones in your front too"). Which is like you know four eye power. Great if you're trying to see people sneak up in back of you, or if you're entering a freak contest.

Here is what each Mala Mala Jong part does:
Two Ton Tunic: A tunic that can turn into a heavy metallic armor that deflects anything that hits it.
Eye of Dashi: It is a pendant with a red ruby in the center that releases bolts of electricity and also generates unlimited power for machines.
Third-Arm Sash: The Third-Arm Sash is a waist sash that functions as a third arm and does things at the user's wish.
Fist of Tebigong: The Fist of Tebigong is a metal gauntlet that is strong enough to crack the earth.
Jetbootsu: The Jetbootsu are shoes that allow the wearer to defy gravity, which would therefore allow them to fly, float, and walk on walls and ceilings.
Shroud of Shadows: The Shroud of Shadows is a black invisibility cloak that allows the user to move around at faster speeds than it's Harry Potter counterpart.
Helmet of Jong: The Helmet of Jong is a helmet that gives the wearer eyes in the back of their head while also allowing them to keep the ones in front, thus giving them all-round vision.
Heart of Jong: The Heart of Jong is a heart that brings inanimate objects to life and gives them human emotion. It can also reawaken Mala Mala Jong if it is together with the above Shen Gong Wu.
Oh, an in case you're wondering who has what, here is the complete list as of the end of episode 12:
Xiaolin: Two Ton Tunic, Eye of Dashi, Monkey Staff, Golden Tiger Claws, Sword of the Storm, Shroud of Shadows, Helmet of Jong, Sapphire Dragon, Serpent's Tail, Orb of Tornami, Star Hanabi, Third-Arm Sash, Fist of Tebigong, Jetbootsu, Longi Kite, Tongue of Saiping, Sun Chi Lantern, Heart of Jong.
Heylin: Mantis Flip Coin, Tangle Web Comb, Changing Chopsticks, Ring of the Nine Dragons, Falcon's Eye, Lotus Twister.
Xiaolin: 18
Heylin: 6

I was thinking what a idoit when Jack dident want Wya on his team anymore even if he could search for all Shen Gong Wu with his new machine it could break and he would be stuck there:sweat:

Did they ever used the Sun Chi Lantern again?
And when did they got the Golden Tiger Claws back anyway?

Omi went to center of the earth and got it back 2 episodes ago.

Did they ever used the Sun Chi Lantern again?
Nope, but it makes a cameo in the season 3 episode "Chucky Choo", about, oh, 36 episodes from now.
Edit: I have added a new talkback logo to reflect what is going on in the show.
The 26 episode long season two STARTS NOW!

It's always cool seeing Wuya at full strength. She acts less goofy in human form than she does in ghost form. Though I knew Raimundo was going back to the other side, I did like how these eps showcased that the good guys have faults.

I'm watching the repeat of today's episode, and I've noticed something. When Wuya raises up her citadel, you see a blue thing fall from the rock pillars. Originally I thought it was just some stone tablet. But seeing it again, and having seen the next episode last saturday during the Poillow Head Hour, I now realize it's Omi and the Orb of Tornami frozen in ice .
I love how they snuck that in. :p

and anyone noticed that after Wuya's defeat, when the Earth goes back to normal, you can spot the Reversing Mirror just laying around against a rock? Odd place to hide a Shen Gong Wu.

Well the reversing mirror was already found. In fact wasn't that just where Raimundo and Wuya left it in "In The Flesh" before Wuya was made human? It's not like it went back into hiding or anything.
BTW according to the CN schedule, "Citadel Of Doom" isn't airing today. Instead a B&M marathon will be on and "Citadel Of Doom" will be on Monday. Also according to the schedule after "Enter The Dragon" (the show's 20th episodoe) CN is restarting the show back from the beginning with "Journey Of A Thousand Miles" and so on. Kind of a bummer but hey that's what you get when you deal with CN.

Damn, this is just weird. Granted that now that this has happened, I can record those 5 episodes I missed and (if my counting is correct) by the time they get back to new episodes, I'll have already had my week-long trip so I won't miss out on making these talkbacks, but I still wish they were showing this series non-stop, not stopping a third of the way thru the second season. I'm glad they're showing the new Billy and Mandy's again, but why Friday and not Saturday? This is screwing up Miguzi fans AND Xiaolin Showdown fans.
I will change the first post and mods, PLEASE change the title of the thread to: Xiaolin Showdown [3/20 - 3/23]. Last time I asked for a title change, you guys ignored me...
One question, what episode will be on the Sunday airing now?

I didn't know it was found before that.
Well did you watch "In The Flesh"? That was the Shen Gong Wu that Raimundo and Jack Spicer were fighting over in the Xialoin Showodown in the light house. It was the one that Rai one and took with him (along with the Golden Tiger Claws and Lotus Twister) when he and Wuya escaped. And it's probably the one the Xialoin team recovered between "The Citadel Of Doom" and "Shard Of Lightning".
One question, what episode will be on the Sunday airing now?
"Days Past" is airing On Sunday. To make it look like they didn't "skip" anything.
