It was an alright episode I must say, but there is still a question I don't understand. Why did the jar of horrible stuff draw the bugs away at the end? And as cold blooded organisms, won't bugs have trouble surviving a chill? And a bug armor would not have stopped him from being irradiated. The only reason that bugs will survive a nuclear winter is the fact that they multiply so quickly.

Interesting "Willard" concept, but with bugs. Fun watching Gwenn try to steer Wildmutt with sinus trouble and getting her med kit ready knowing she was going to catch it too.

Now, the science in this show (well any show really) is weak. No nuclear reactor core would be visible, cooling it manually,,, I don't know  and no amount of bugs could shield radiation even if they can survive a high rad dose.

There was "Something" honey in the medicine, but since Ben didn't seem to taste it, I doubt the bugs could smell it

Mediocre ep, not horrible but I've seen the show do better.

This ranked down there with Washington BC as the worst episode in this show so far. I just did not like it.

What's the Willard concept? And come to think of it, all nuclear reactors are built explicitly to contain a possible nuclear meltdown, and any ill effects. In fact I am positive of it (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Containment_building). Man this gets worse when you think about it. I can't wait for next week's episodes. Ten dollars say Grandad was in the MIB, or something similar. I'll pissed off if its revealed that Grandad is an alien or somethings, and by extension so is Ben.

What's the Willard concept?Willard was a movie in th 70's which was remade a few years ago. It was about a guy who could control rats. Ironically, the head rat was named "Ben".

Yep. I'm pretty sure nuclear reactors aren't in the middle of a big room that you can walk around like that. Besides, a nuclear meltdown is when the nuclear reaction is out of control. The melt part is just a consequence of the heat generated. Applying cold to the reactor might stop it from breeching, but it wouldn't stop the root cause of the problem.

But then the show is so old-school comic book anyway, given the way that villains with varied powers pop up for no reason whereever Ben goes.

Shouldn't Gwen and Max have gotten really severe radiation poisoning?
