I know a guy who worked on it.

Don't buy it unless you like wasting money. :\

The game is going to be an enormous flop for EA, always a good thing :D

I remain cautiously optimistic. I'd love to have a good game to scratch that open world itch while Rockstar prepares their next GTA.

Despite my lack of interest in the Godfather series, this game looks interesting to say the least. Not that I'm hyped up about it, but it actually might be a good play.

Im not the least bit excited about this game, it's actually in stores now too, but EA put a street date on it because they think it's going to be huge, I some how doubt this.

Makes me wonder why the 360 version was pushed so far back but the PS2 and Xbox versions are ok to ship out. Something tells me it isn't about tweaking the graphics.

Does anyone even know about the Scarface gaming which is comming out shortly after? Two bad games we won't be able to forget thanks to people like X-Play.

My store already has the XBOX and PS2 games in stock. But the box says, "not to be sold until March 21, 2006."

Revisiting the same old tiresome nitpicks while making up their own bad sketch comedy with interns that could fuel them for a year.

I'll be amazed if this game lands the top spot.

I also remember that Francis Ford Coppola absolutely hated the fact that this movie is turning into a game. :rolleyes2

Just to let people that are interested know... Gamespot has a review for the Godfather. They gave it an 8.1.

Well that's one out of my three top review references. If Gamespot gave it an 8.1, IGN's almost guaranteed to not rate it below 8.3. The only reviews to consider now are EGM's.

I wonder why they released The Godfather game at this specific time. Probably to make it more realistic in graphics, as making it for the 30th anniversary would leave bad graphics

A friend of mine picked this up and I have to say it's not half bad. EA really outdone themselves here.

Although listening to that Marlon Brando impersonation gets on your nerves after a while.

Marlon Brando's last performance was vocals for this game.

And they didn't record them right, so they couldn't use them.

Blech.

I cringe when I hear the voiceovers for the commercial, but this has gotten rave reviews so far. If I get it for review, I'll give it a shot. Otherwise, I doubt I'm missing anything by not playing it.
