Having recently been on a retro kick (I don't want to say nostalgia because nostalgia always ends up in one finding out what they used to like doesn't hold up with age, and that's not been my problem), I've been buying DVDs and looking up old cartoons on the Internet (Wiki has been a huge help :D), and I realized that a lot of my favorite parts of two very classic cartoons (the Flintstones and the Jetsons) mostly come from spin-offs. Additions like RUDI and Orbitty to the Jetsons, and things like the Frankenstones getting their own cartoon were awesome to me as a child but so far as I know, all that's been released by Hanna-Barbera is the 60's stuff. Does anyone know of any news about the 70's and 80's versions of the Flintstones and Jetsons coming out any time soon?
