Wait, is this just in Texas or something? I don't know how US politics work very well...
If it is just confined to that area, wouldn't people just go about buying games elsewhere?

Even if I did live in Texas, I wouldn't be worried about it, because Perry will likely be the GOP candidate (incumbents usually win the nomination, anyway). The "grease tax" thing also wouldn't help Locke, either. Both that and the video game taxes wouldn't be very popular.
