Ambush in the feudal era! This will probably lead to stunning revelations!

Nothing like a database error to kill a Talkback.

I don't consider anybody ninjas unless they can perform either a Sexy Jutsu or a Rasengan.

Better than the last few weeks, at least.

It was an enjoyable little romp, okay for introducing the story arc. There was the irony in the beginning where Kagome flunks a test on Feudal Era history. And the revelation where modern-day Hojo discovers a Kagome in the woodpile of his ancestry. Oh My! I guess in an old country like Japan, with its strong emphasis on extended family, it's probably not unusual to have a geneaology going back over 500 years.

Back in the past, Akitoki still has a crush on Kagome (carried over from the movie apparently). And once more he has a cursed family heirloom to dispose of before it disposes of the family. (They really need to stop picking up those flea market souvenirs.) Although Akitoki is a klutz, he's also inventive. How, you ask? Well, he invents airsickness.

It was a fun episode. I still am finding these premieres to be enjoyable for the most part. Anyone know if AS plans to keep the weekly premiere episodes going until they get to series end this fall, or will they take a break when this arc is over? (^_*)

So of this reminds me of Naruto.

Meh. I didn't care for Akitoki in the movie either. I'm more concerned about the implications of this for Kagome and I'd really like more to be said about what effect this has on the Kagome/Inuyasha relationship.

Interesting episode, which we'll get to see the ninjas & Hoshiyomi which he's the next powerful one besides Naraku/Sesshoumaru/Bankotsu/Hakudoushi and they've introduced Akitoki from movie 2 who loves Kagome and is klutzy, but knows more about the ancient sword and don't you guys hate those database errors because I sure do,those jerks!

I'm beginning to despise Inuyasha sometimes:shrug: with him not caring about saving innocent people other than finding Naraku and with the mutt hating poor Akitoki, that jerk!(sorry IY fans:sweat: )

^Don't forget Inuyasha is a reluctant hero. He has basically a perpetual bad attitude about everything, except maybe Kagome and his friends, and even then he has to be pushed into admitting it.

Eh the records of medieval europe are not always in the best condition, in some cases that's usualy where things get all screwy in terms of finding continuity in the lineage

I only saw the last few minutes again and never saw the movies so yeah I was pretty lost :( the explanation of what demon ninjas were was pretty funny in a corny way and Akitoki seemed pretty nice if not Mirokuish in the preview

aw man i've missed a lot of season 6 episodes thus far. I think it's a combination of these filler episode and finding a blank tape and the time to watch it

*well according to Zap2it (http://tvlistings2.zap2it.com/grid_1.asp?station_num=12131&partner_id=national&3/21/2006)it, next the Saturday schedule will be allowing (at least for that week) one hour of InuYasha season 6 after Toonami. So hopefully i'll be able to see the ones i've missed

The Sho'Un waterfall - remember that in a couple episodes. Why do I get the feeling that this arc is going to be with us for a while?

Why do they call it ninja food? They must have some idea that ninjas don't eat ramen back in the Feudal Era, or did they?

Shippou is Akitoki's master? I'll have to watch that movie again.

Since when is Miroku that fast? Usually he rides Kirara w/ Sango

I can just feel Kirara thinking to Akitoki, "You'd better not throw up on me!"

Kagome is giving Akitoki family health ideas, ideas to pass on down the family line.

Maybe Akitoki is unlucky; maybe he's just a klutz

It's a bird, it's a kite, it's...

So it's half the naginata.

Myoga in the house, er, out in the open, again! And Totosai, although he phones in his part.

Kaijinbo rears his ugly dead head again

So it's destiny that Inu helps get rid of this sword on account of only he can do it?

Maybe Kagome could try to bribe the ninjas off with some 'ninja food', hmm? Maybe we could finally see if ninjas do eat ramen back then?

Again with the name-yelling, just keep collecting those for a sequel to that commercial.

An hour per Saturday? Suh-weet!
