I seriously turned my TV on at around 2:57pm (before CC Show), and what popped up on the screen was the music video for that Crazy Frog song, "Axel F". There was no on-screen logo or outro for the music video, so it seemed to be just...there. For those of you have seen the original vid know that the frog had a "tail" that caused a bit of controversy, especially when the album was released with "the tail" still in tact. It seemed to have been edited out in this music video that aired on CN, though.

Was this the first time this has happened? Yet another weird move on CN's part.

I've seen the Frog video three times.

I think they're showing it for no reason.

Heh. I think this song would be a decent remix if it didn't have that damn frog in it.

I've seen it at least ten times.

Such a big deal about such a small thing.
I was Europe last year, and saw that video on tv with no attempt at editing at all. Then again, Europeans are much more level headed about these things.

As for the song, it's one of those unbeleivably annoying pieces of 'music' that has me hitting the mute button the second it comes on. I hope CN isn't airing random junk like that.

I haven't seen in on the network yet. Maybe I am tuning in at the wrong times. Or should I say I should be fortunate to not have tuned in at those times.

Actually from what I've noticed, they've been playing that Crazy Frog video before the Cartoon Cartoon Show for the past several weeks.

Oh, no. Not this. And I thought the live action movies were a bad sign.

I was in London in May of last year, and that ad was on 24/7. Didn't matter what channel, what time of day, what the program was, if there was a commercial break, there was the creepy frog on his bike, rapping in Hindi while General Greivous tried to kill him. And despite that, it still took all week to figure out what he was advertising. We do not need non-stop bad ringtone ads over here. Kill it with fire.

While I agree that they show this too often (why not air other videos?), may I ask "didn't we already have a topic on this" or "why is this now being brought up? (hasn't this been aired for nearly a month now?)"?

I remember seeing it a couple weeks ago, it isn't too bad if you just listen to it and don't look at the TV.

Yeah, in England at least. It knocked Coldplay off the top of the Billboard UK Singles chart last year.

I wonder how many know that the song "Axel F" was originally composed by Harold Faltermeyer for the movie "Beverly Hills Cop"...

Come to think of it, what would Faltermeyer say if he saw that video...
